Started using this miner and loving the results of it. I get higher hash rates using on EWBF's Zcash CUDA miner. 0.3.4b for Zcash. I know that the new release is unfinished and I am seeing a 20-30 Sol difference in the mining. What are peoples thoughts on this?
New CCMiner 2.1 introduced, Interface equihash algo with djeZo solver (from nheqminer 0.5c) New api parameters (and multicast announces for local networks) New tribus algo.
sorry, i could not understand - do you get higher hasrate on CCminer2.1 or EWBF's ? you state that the difference is 20-30 sols - is it per card (what card ?) Or per rig ? |

i have 3 of aorus extreme, they run hot as f*** (74-76C , 75%TDP +149 + 599 / ~735 sol/s ), even though i have 75% forced fan. On the bright side, if you register them, you get 4 years of warranty.
I have bunch of MSI 1080ti's - Armor and Gaming X, they run much cooler and are very quiet.
Never owned a EVGA card in my life so i dont know about those

231 million for what? A whitepaper and a promise of doing something?
As only a wide-eyed child at the time, I'm too young to properly remember the dotcom bubble but can anyone shed some light as to whether this same type of thing was happening then? Were people just throwing money anywhere and everywhere if it sounded good enough?
I don't think it was this bad. ..the "coins" scene has gotten simply ridiculous now. People are simply joining in on scams knowing they can profit. There is 0 reason to ever crowd fund fuck all in crypto. This shit existed for 6 years fine with out ICO's. Then along came RIPPLE and ETHEREUM and others got hard seeing the money. BAM ! we got ICO shit storm going down. There is nothing to defend and every aspect of this crap is stupid and scammy. I know because i did research online on scams and read testimonials from people sucked into them. I also seen them on TV all my life and known people in on them. There is literally nothing at all legit about this crap now. I have no respect for 90% of the loser NOOBS showing up here or the old guys pandering to them. A cluster fuck of scammy douche baggery fer teh ROI's. It's pretty simple if you don't have the means to support getting a coin made then.. fuck off. I don't want to see your hand out. When crypto morphed into nothing but crowd-funding for profits it all became a scam. I don't respect people involved in this crap. oh dear, dude you should really get a job. Or in case you already have one, you should do it rather than rant on these forums like a madman. Is it crowdfunding only in crypto world that makes your already severly damaged brain go complete apeshit or is it crowdfunding in general ? |

p106-100 card is exactly same chip and specifications as for gtx 1060, just a little tweaked clock and memory, you may use 1060 but why use it if you can have hands on 1080 or 1080ti,
those guys at nvidia are making us idiots, first they seperated HPC cards from gaming cards and selling them at enormously high prices, now they seperated card for mining, while actually they are same. I am a researcher, and use GPU's for superconducting simulations, I know how they fooled us by selling k80's and m60's.
because 1080 and 1080Ti aren't so good for mining, and all other cards are basically sold out. If you sell used 1080ti you will get 60% money back instantly, if you have time to muck around you'll probably get like 75%. Used mining cards will go to bin probably |

Got 2 of Asus Z270-AR mobos. 1 is running 6 * 1080Ti with no problems. I mean rock-fkng-solid. Been going for weeks. The other one has 7*1060 6GB, Bios sees all 7, Win10 can recognise only 5. I have tried everything, new risers, switching them around, nothing works. And even getting those 5 to work took me a day, installing and re-installing windows and drivers several times. Fking joke.
Both have exactly same CPU, RAM.

I assume you updated your BIOS because you said you set 4G encoding and that's missing if you haven't  Your bios date should be 3/17 or newer'ish Did you set the PCI's to Gen-2? Two locations in that bios... Don't worry about that PCI error in the device manager. Both of my Asus Prime Z270's show the same thing but both rigs mine fine (one nvidia rig and one amd rig). I did not. Will try that. My other rig is running 6 1080Ti-s with same mobo with no problems whatsoever and did not set bios to Gen2 |

Hi, I'm building my 4th rig, 2nd with ASUS Prime Z270-AR and i ran to trouble which i can't find a solution to, hopefully someone can help me out. Specs mobo - ASUS Prime Z270-AR GPU - 7*Asus Dual GTX1060 6GB Win10 Prox64 1200W PSU Yes, installed Win in UEFI and yes, above 4G is enabled. For some reason, i can't make even 2 cards to work and they are connected directly to PCI-16 When i connected 6 with USB powered risers i got 2 of these errors, if i connected all 7 then won't boot at all.  0,05ZEC to whoever gives me help/advice that actually works  |
