1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 07, 2017, 11:55:53 PM
Nothing I have tried has enabled me to mine on miningpoolhub.

I've tried Awesome miner. NO dice.

Nemo. red print on screen, no mining, if another BTC address other than his is used. It works and auto-switches just fine as long as Nemo's raking in the coins. Other than that, nope. ONLY thing I switched was the Bitcoin address in the .bat file.

Does anyone make any money on this pool? What software? I am trying to multi-algo, but so far, Nicehash looks better than you all put together, even though it's down.

So what does one do to make miningpoolhub work?

I have awesome miner working with zpool, works well with Nvidia 1080ti, but does not seem optimised for AMD cards on zpool, but I am too a ex nicehash lazy miner looking for the latest lazy method.

I doubt nicehash will be coming back anytime soon... Sadly..

If I sign up and use awesome miner software.

Will It all be pretty much automated due to using awesome miner software or will I need to add settings for coins etc?

Also 2nd question will I just need a BTC wallet for payment?

Is there any other alternative to awesome miner for AMD card configs ? rx 470 etc.?

Not that I know of that is as good as this software.

Thank you for your reply , I have set awesominer up on a different AMD system , but using zpool is giving me some terrible coin choices Decred , which is one of the worse on the market at the moment , yet when using my Nvidia card , using zpool and Awesomeminer I am getting good results..

Okay newbie from nicehash , I have downloaded and install Awesominer and setup zpool with my bitcoin address.

But why is Zpool having me mine one of the worse coins using my AMD cards Decred ??!?!?

But on my other system running Nvidia , Zpool and Awesominer appear to be mining a good coin Neoscrypt ?!?

Help please , do I need to use a different program to access Zpool for AMD cards ?

Help and advice please.

Delete that miner and set it up as a My Profit Miner -- test this to see if it works.

Oh, wait ......

Thank you I have tried that , I have even uninstalled and re-installed the software , the strange part is that on my Nvidia system when I added a new miner , it asked me to put my bitcoin address in and tick which ones to use Zcash etc , but it does not come up with that option it just finishes and I have to override the profile to put the bitcoin address in , the same thing happens as detailed above it starts , checks , then stops.....

Hmmm daft question , could it be anything to do with using the beta mining drivers from AMD Huh

Or is it because I am using the free software on 2 different computers Huh would that cause the issue ? each computer is using GPU only and not CPU

It has worked fine for months using Nicehash.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Which program is best for AMD cards running Zpool ?!?!? on: December 07, 2017, 04:00:53 PM
I am fresh out of luck due to Nicehash , So I am looking for a program to run Zpool , I have tried awesome miner but for some reason it will not run with my AMD multi GPU rigs with RX470's installed.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: December 07, 2017, 03:33:18 PM
Help please , Awesome miner newbie , I have moved over since Nicehash was hacked....

I have 2 mining computers both running the free version of the software

1 of them is a nivida system 2 x 1080ti , it is happily mining away.....using zpool and awesome miner Smiley

BUT

My 2nd system 4 x AMD rx 470 when I used add new miner

I click next , choose Managed Profit miner , name my miner , mining host = local , profit switching mode = AMD GPU

Click next , it does not ask me to tick zpool etc or to enter BTC address , so I goto properties overide pool settings , I tick Zpool and enter my address....Mining then starts but it will not stay on , it hooks up to the miner , test stability then when it comes to starting to mine building library then it crashes , it tries say 3 times then fully stops Sad

Anyone offer any help please.

Okay I was running NH , but I am now looking at Zpool......I have been mining with NH for around 7 months , but now find myself in a position of having the equipment and some knowledge , but not enough to jump start me as easily as NH did.

So to use Zpool , do I just need a bitcoin wallet and will it automatically mine the best for me and convert all earnings into BTC for me

Also is it possible to set it up to run with json miner to help keep the electric costs down and the heat ?

Sorry for all the newbie style questions...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NICEHASH confirmed - hacked - Any legit alternatives? on: December 07, 2017, 12:26:54 PM
Very sad day indeed , I was one of those lazy miners , I was introduced to Nicehash back in June , I have not looked back since , thankfully I have cashed out every Friday....this Friday will be the first Friday I have not cashed out !!!!

I guess I have to get real or sell my kit !! thankfully not a bad time to be selling hardware due to the price of BTC going through the roof Smiley

Maybe jump back in when a real lazy style alternative shows up.

Nicehash is dead in the water , anyone hold their breath for it come back online anytime soon , is likely to run out of breath !!! but I shall holds out until Monday and see what happens!

14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: **CEX.IO Bitcoin Exchange ** Buy Bitcoins with Cards in iOS / Android App*** on: October 18, 2017, 11:03:48 AM
PLEASE CAN YOU REPLY AND SORT OUT THIS PROBLEM .

Below is one of my many recent emails sent to CEX.IO

They keep blaming my debit card , YET they made a payment to me back in JULY , nothing has changed my side , my card is the same , it is the same issue number and all details are correct and verified at CEX.IO end.

Of course CEX.IO sent me various cut and paste responses , but things do not look good for this company , people should consider moving there coins and money else where.....very poor support , very poor replies with lots of rubbish talked and poor excuses.

Copy of todays email :-

Withdrawel Rejected ! to my debit card

User number :- up106274182

Support request number 355985

Hi , I am very very unhappy , I have re-spoken with my bank , they tell me everything you have told me is incorrect .

1) I do not have any incoming daily limit on my account , even if I did , i have not used the card.
2) The name on my card is correct , Initials and not a full name are perfectly normal.
3) why do you reject my payment , even though you sent me funds to my account around the 26th of July when I withdrew funds.
4) my card details have not changed at my bank
5) I have tried again today to withdraw money and once again you have rejected my request.

HOW do you suggest I go forwards with this ?

I need my money , IT is not a Problem at my side.

It is a issue at your side.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone have a link to the Elpida Memory performance settings for Polaris ED on: September 05, 2017, 06:49:53 PM
Use PBE v1.6. It has a 'one click timing patch' feature that will apply the correct bundled performance timings based on your memory type.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg21518785#msg21518785

Just apply the timings, save the Bios and flash it with Atiwinflash. Also back up your original Bios before flashing it.

Wow !!?! So I presume I use ATIwin , save my original bios , run it through PBE , it produces a modded bios , use ATIwin to flash the modded one ?

Yes. Just give the modded Bios a new name when saving it so you don't overwrite the original. You also need to run Atiwinflash as an administrator. I would suggest removing all the other cards from the PCI-E slots and leaving just the card you want to flash to make sure it's the right card. Wait for Atiwinflash to finish and only reboot when it says you can.

With most cards, you also may need to use the pixel patcher after modding the Bios to bypass the signature check when using a modded Bios.

https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher

Perfect thank you I shall give it a try, I presume that 1.6 does not just copy the memory strap and paste it above?

Hi , I have a Gigabyte my rx480 4GB Elipda, I am looking for the performance settings.

I know I can simply just cut and paste from 1500 upwards , but I am told that is not the best way to get the best results .

So does anyone have a link to the Elpida memory performance settings so I can cut and paste it into my bios using Polaris editor.

Hello,

i have rx470 sapphire mining edition 4gb (samsung), can anyone help me find uber mix straps for this card? Smiley

stock bios:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byi-77xfzJiaVEU5MVZnSk9wUEU/view?usp=sharing

Don't spend money on a bios, very easy to do yourself.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1604567/polaris-bios-editing-rx5xx-rx4xx

I use the uber mix on my rx470 Samsung, it does 28 to 30 now.

Just follow the instructions and don't forget to use pixel patcher once you have modded your card, or the drivers will not work correctly.... Also back up your original bios, I could do a basic mod on a card in under 5 minutes theses days...
