Even if we snatch them from KEN (which should absolutely happen) how do we even verify who has how much shares anymore? Crypto-trade is dead as far as I know. I took some screenshots but I doubt they are proving anything to be honest. And I doubt most of the shareholders even have that.

Funny thing about Poisson Processes: Every day you don't stake, you still have 100,000 days to go.

Here's a fun thing:

Pick a random point in time, then:

A) the average amount of time from that point to the next CLAM block is 1 minute
B) the average amount of time from that point to the previous CLAM block is also 1 minute
C) the average time between CLAM blocks is also 1 minute

Wouldn't you expect A + B = C? Yet A, B, and C are all 1 minute.

7 kilometers!

Ok thank you for your response, I understand it has value, and I guess everything has a value. However, I still feel like it is overprices ALOT as FCT is backed by a multinational Microsoft and so is ethereum, both coins a worth the same amount currently, in my eyes thats crazy..

Thanks for your response though, I will be back around when the price is around 50k Wink

Yeah its also crazy someone thinks fatcom is backed by microsoft just because they experiment with it on one of their platforms. Just dice is one of the biggest longest running(honest) gambling platform in crypto world. JD in its history wagered probably over 100s of millions of $. What exactly can I do with factom?

There was a guy yesterday at Just Dice promoting his new interesting project spacepirate.io  and was mentioning at adding few coins in the future, and said he will look into GP. Maybe it would be good if you got in touch with him.

Finally we are talking about this! This is really one though issue . On one hand I would like to ease up or end digging but on the other I fell in love with clam due to how interesting and innovative the digging part was.  So as I see it now something like halving or pointing out date in future when we will end the digging, to get people still chance to dig out their clams, would be probably the most rational thing to do.  I mean giving 2 or 3 years for "initial distribution" is quite enough time and as someone mentioned before the snapshot is getting old slowly and the number of average diggers (small ones) will go down rapidly so it kinda loses a purpose (not literally)

$2400, not a bad days work dooglus!

After he fixed the exploit I carried on playing and built the 6.2 BTC up to 12 BTC, then lost it all.

Just as my balance hit zero I got a PM, thanking me for reporting the exploit and saying I could keep whatever I had won using it.

What is it the kids say? fml? Smiley

He ended up tipping me 3 BTC which is better than I was expecting. (But worse than the 12 BTC I could have had).

Thats better than stamp of solvency, EVEN dooglus loses at our casino!

Wow CLAMour seems like something special that might inspire other coins or bitcoin itself. Some awesome shit right here bows to all working on this.

There was a lot of people margin trading since volume was huge, so that might have been margin call . also is no one ever supposed to sell or whats your point ?

I saw that too. After buying 10k CLAMs and not being able to withdraw them, I put them up for lending at 0.5% per day. They were very quickly taken up by people. The rate has since dropped considerably from lenders undercutting each other, so now you're better off staking instead of lending probably.

When you put up CLAMs for lending that is taken up not buy margin buyers but by people selling CLAMs short (i.e. betting on CLAMs dropping in value), which is something that has been happening a lot during this whole episode. Margin calls on short selling result in market buys, not market sells.

People buying coins on margin will be borrowing BTC, but it is hard to interpret much from the BTC lending market since people could be doing that to buy any of the coins on margin, and probably most of that is the bigger coins like ETH.

Could you please explain, if you know this, how margin trading works on poloniex? If I short sell like 10k clams and price is stagnating and I decide to close that short will that appear as a buy in market?

Does the whale digger really sold all his CLAMs yesterday?

If you believe what he says, yes. Beyond that it is impossible to know.

No more dumps?

Other people, including whoever supposedly bought his 100 BTC worth of CLAMs, might dump.

The stake weight on the network has gone up by about 200K CLAMs, so someone is staking coins that weren't be staked yesterday. That is unambiguous.

There was another 50 bitcoin dump about twelve hours after the whale digger said he'd run out of CLAMS. Either he was lying or someone else who brought in low was taking profits. CLAMS had the biggest price swings of any coin yesterday, and that could have drawn speculators to the market looking for a fast profit.

There was a lot of people margin trading since volume was huge, so that might have been margin call . also is no one ever supposed to sell or whats your point ?

I have this interesting though that the digger actually might be someone from cryptsy. We all know they have some problems at the moment and the timing when they first stopped paying people kinda fits into when our whale digger starts digging. Now Iam not that smart to do this but cannot someone figure out how we could verify this, for example by tying someones address from cryptsy to address that has been dug by our whale?

What was the point/purpose of that wallet if I may ask ?

If I have any say to this, I would let clam be clam and not do anything, its unfortunate someone has that much clams but if we can survive that we can survive anything. And he is selling all of them anyway if I understand it correctly so nothing 51%-esque is going to happen.

Thanks MMH will maybe try.  Anyone got any experience to share in how many percent interest they are getting that they haven't shared already in the thread?

Its really weird with GP that you cannot put a number on it. I tried multiple splits from 10 - 25 - 50 to 100  and few months I was getting close to 100%
then a bit less and then I stopped really taking notes and analyzing it. While I was datamining though there seemed to be only like 1600-2000 GPs mined daily for whole network, so more people mining less % for you unless the "cap"(daily gps mined) moves with more miners.
