Masternodes reward incentivates a 51% attack. the Problem of PoW is a 51% attack, the problem of PoS is Nothing-at-Stake... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stakehttps://docs.decred.org/mining/proof-of-stake/but giving rewards to Empty Nodes in PoW mode, incentivates 51% attack free environment. PoW also has flaws. Decred has Blake2 algo but the only argument is that is faster than sha256 in smaller block sizes & more secure.. how fast? 10%? 20%? 100%? only downloading the wallet and comparing similar network load could reveal the answer. Master-nodes are needed for coin mixer, but itīs a form of centralization. Centralization = Bad. #2.yesterday was trying to install xmr-stak-osx pre-compiled in OSX, it needs to install a lot of libraries, and optional software, but did not work, a library.5 was not found on the system, mining software is very sensible to OSX version. similar to Linux, is not worth the effort. Is anybody still working on a pool? I don't mind lending my hashes to the network(solo mining) but it's taking me forever to find any blocks(no offense)
I'm working on it. I'm very busy at the day job, so it's taking longer than I thought

OK my fork'd miner isn't cutting the mustard. So here's the one i'm going to recommend using for my pool. https://github.com/Encel-US/cpuminer-multiIt's not mine, but it's working fine and getting slightly better hashrate than built-in miner. I get 8000 hps with built-in miner, 8800 with Encel's cpuminer fork. Here's a copy of my .bat file that has the miner running smoothly. cpuminer-avx -a argon2 -o http://localhost:9332 -O user:x -t4 --no-stratum --no-longpoll --coinbase-addr=CcENiMqNuxSTqMUZcEQS1sANMzqYZnKrvi And you will also still need to edit the Credits.conf #Do not use special characters with username/password rpcuser=user rpcpassword=x rpcport=9332 port=31000 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 server=1 So i forked a miner that sucked. If it is working (left it running when I went to work this morning), I will post some updates tonight. Also will begin working on setting up a pool.

The bounty for generating a standalone CPU miner (equally fast or faster than the in-wallet miner) is 15,000 CRDS. hi , i hope if there is external cpu miner you can post it in post 1 , so new people like me can know immediately, and surely will help many people if there is any external miner , thank you CPU miner is done and working. It is a fork of Jeff Garzik's cpuminer. Here are the pre-compiled windows files: https://github.com/P4n75/credits-cpuminer/raw/master/credits-cpuminer.7zChose the appropriate exe for your processor. Make sure you change the RUN-miner.bat to the miner for your processor, or leave as generic if your not sure. And make sure change it to your address (or you'll be mining for me). For solo mining the wallet will have to be running and fully sync'd. Pool should be up and running very very soon. All donations and bounties can be sent here: CcENiMqNuxSTqMUZcEQS1sANMzqYZnKrvi Is it from the unitus miner? If so, the hashrate is 10x less than the in-wallet miner. What hashrate are you getting? It is form a fork of the unitus miner, and my hashrate in wallet is around 9khps, and the miner i'm getting less. But it has pool support. And i'm working on optimizing.

I believe I have a working external miner. Really busy at the day job right now, but will work on it more tonight and through the weekend.
If it is working (left it running when I went to work this morning), I will post some updates tonight. Also will begin working on setting up a pool.

I use 2 x 900w server psu's, and everything is fine. Seems like the 650w you are using doesn't have enough power on the 12v rail.
