61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DGB mid term? on: June 09, 2017, 08:05:49 PM
Dgb will soon soar again no worries. Great tech great team. Backed by important people.

Why is it going to soar? Nothing big came of the press conference yesterday other than `more meetings.` Who are these "important people?" Can we get some links, reads, etc? This is sourceless information currently.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves vs Stratis on: June 09, 2017, 07:56:44 PM
Sure, I can see both of these hitting $20. That's about it.

I mean I think you're wrong here (IDK about WAVES, but I'll refer to STRAT for this one). Roadmap is so huge for STRAT: https://stratisplatform.com/2017/05/12/stratis-developers-roadmap-and-update-june-2017/
The Breeze Wallet (assuming it's not complete shit) alone will make this go to $12? The hype is insane around this coin right now. Granted, it's getting corrected right now quite a bit (down $2-$3 from peak) but it's already gotten so high of a valuation based on nothing. If the devs pull through, I don't see how it doesn't double your "$20." I would love to hear counter-arguments if you have any?

Waves looks to be pumping higher than Stratis. In my view both are good for a long term investment because right now the value is low and the in between price jumps will surely cause a big growth in later years.

I mean STRAT hit $12 the other day, it's just correcting. As I stated above, it's only based off of hype right now. Literally nothing has happened, nor been released - so it's interesting/amazing as to what has already happened thus far. Hopefully all goes as planned w/ future releases!

These two are my biggest investments right now and I'm riding it out hoping they both get up a lot. Big things for STRAT this month, looking for the hype to be proven correct.

I just got into this a bit recently (been reading forum sites for close to 3 weeks now) and have made a few investments (not sure it's `a lot` - depends on your definition of a lot, relatively speaking) which can be viewed here if you're interested.

I see you're already in STRAT, so my second biggest holding will be my potential suggestion to read up on:

Waves (WAVES):
https://wavesplatform.com/

http://wavesplatform.herokuapp.com/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Wavesplatform/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/waves/
Ways to buy: http://wavescommunity.com/buy-waves/

This should give you a decent start, the rest is up to you! I don't encourage you invest without researching yourself, so best of luck buddy!
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Digibyte is projected to 1$ on: June 09, 2017, 07:40:12 PM
The thing is, a lot of people got in low and have already made pretty decent profit on this coin. They had some press conference yesterday that had about 0 publicity and people thought `To the moon we go!!` In reality, they basically just received "more meetings" one of their higher up's said (with like MasterCard, Microsoft (I think?), and a few others). If I find the link, I'll edit my post. All-in-all, nothing really happened. Gave awesome opportunity for a quick flip of money (which I sold at +29.55%) and back to the start again.

Overall, I think all CryptoCurrency in general (relevant ones?) will have a future and increase in prices. For now, I'm staying off the band-wagon but look to see what comes in the future. Nothing too exciting for me.

I don't see how this is going to reach $1, especially not anytime soon -- and unfortunately (without reading through all the pages, because I'm not entirely entertained by your main thread post) you provided no links, insight or information on how it's really going to get there... Certainly not a minecraft server!
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [STRATIS] Should I invest on: June 09, 2017, 07:24:29 PM
I'm holding some but I don't think it's going to do much anytime soon. Maybe $20 before years end.

How does it not get into the $15 - $20 range alone when the Breeze Wallet is released (assuming it's not a piece of garbage) later this month?

It looks like a good coin to invest. I only a minor investor because I think it has the potential to gain prominence in the future. I see some potential growth in it in the next coming months that's why I bought when the price is still low. If my hutch is correct then I can potential pick up a good profit from it, otherwise I will just stay and hold it for a bit longer.
So do I, there are some coins that I still hold to get bigger profit
With its active developers and the many events and cooperation that the developers are doing I think it's realistic that price increases happen
I also read a lot about the developers team and their ideas so I can say that it is a good idea to invest now that the coin have not caught a lot of hype.

And I don't even know what you're talking about here? The coin's entire value right now is ENTIRELY based off of hype? It reached $12 alone and has done NOTHING. NOTHING has been released. It's correcting right now as we're seeing (unfortunately I didn't sell for the bigger profit to rebuy in). It's entirely hype.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Predictions for 2 altcoins end of 2017 on: June 09, 2017, 05:58:53 PM
Dear all,

What are your predictions for Ark and Bitbay at the end of the year?

TKs a lot

I have bought 10000Bay for 3 days. I will hold it at least 3 months starting form now.
I can guess This coin will hit 1$ at the end of this year. it's quite good for long investment.

Based on what? Please back the claim for it to go up 33x in value! That's impressive.

The coin looks promising, but is getting hit on poloniex.
Should I buy now or wait a little more? Huh

As of now it's #8 on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stratis/ with $887,869,468 valuation

Can it go much higher now?

Low reward, high risk.

(I might be wrong)

Yes the coin is BUTT

Based on what? Either of you want to back your claims?

OT: Stratis has a bunch of potential in this upcoming month. It's dropping a pretty significant amount right now because that's been the trend the last couple of weekends. Not to mention, it's probably a bit high considering nothing has been released yet. Most is just speculation and hype.

That being said, I believe (since it's dropping) it's a good time to invest. I would target a price point if I were you and get in. Unfortunately I didn't dump my Stratis before the drop (to then rebuy) so I'm down like 50% profits Sad

I would also recommend reading up on it and seeing if you're truly interested. Don't be a sheep Smiley
Here are some links to get you started friend.
Stratis (STRAT):

https://stratisplatform.com/files/Stratis_Whitepaper.pdf

Being a minor investor, I think it has potential (hopefully??). But don't take my word for it, I'm a noob.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: invest only in bitcoin? on: June 09, 2017, 05:45:32 PM
I think one of the biggest pieces of advice I have received, seen on multiple threads, and all is to "do your own research." A lot of people on the internet just make exactly what the section entails, `speculation.` No one is for sure what the price of Bitcoin (or any Alt) will be tomorrow, next week, next month, nor next year(s). That being said, take `advice` with a grain of salt. Read up entirely on the coins before you invest and find something you enjoy, believe in, think will become a big deal.

Another select piece of advice that might help you, that I believe may be posted above is definitely don't put all your eggs in one basket. If you really believe, trust, whatever, in one coin -- put a good portion/percentage into that. Otherwise I would split it up.

Finally, invest only with money you're willing to lose. I believe you used the number `$3000` -- if you aren't comfortable with the possibility of losing it (I don't think you will if you invest in something `smart`) then I would also just advise not getting involved.

---

Now for some of my speculation, and I'm not advising you to invest if not interested (follow my first piece of advice), take a look at Ethereum, Stratis just dropped a bunch Cry (good time to invest?), Waves, SiaCoin. I think that's a good start for you, and best of luck!

---

I'm long on Waves, ETH, ZEC and ETC. In my opinion ETC will grow significantly this summer.

Based on what? What does ETC have/do that ETH isn't/won't?
