501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 19, 2023, 06:30:32 PM
This is some kind of magic, no matter how much Bayern stumbles, it still remains in first place. I thought that Union Berlin would be able to take advantage of their loss of points, but apparently not fate. And Dortmund are good fellows, purposefully caught up with Bayern on points and now all three of the liders have the same number of points. But I still do not believe that Dortmund and Union Berlin will be able to compete on an equal footing with Bayern until the end of the season.

The game between Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha BSC Berlin has just ended and Dortmund has won again with 4-1. Even though the result sounds like it was a clear matter and that Dortmund was the dominating team i have to say that Hertha was at least on the same level as Dortmund today. In the first half both teams were completely even but somehow Dortmund managed to go into the break with a 2-0 lead already. Then in the second half Berlin clearly was the better team in the beginning and they also scored a very fast goal. After that they had several good chances to score the equalizer but they just were not efficient enough.
I watched most of the games of Dortmund after the winter break and i have to say that they are very lucky to win all of those games. In at least 4 of those matches they were not the better team but have still won. Sooner or later that luck will run out though.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 19, 2023, 12:22:43 PM
Bayern Munich is a good team and their position in the Champions League is good. However, if we compare their performance with PSG's team, Bayern Munich is in a good place. However, if Bayern Munich meets Manchester City earlier, Manchester City has a higher chance of advancing to the next stage.

I agree that Manchester City is probably the biggest favorite to win the Champions League this year. That being said, ManCity was probably the big favorite to win this competition in the last 5 years in a row or so, but so far they did not manage to win it once. In order to really win the Champions League you not only need to be the best team you also always need a bit of luck and the timing on your side.

Bayern Munich though comes right behind ManCity in my opinion and i also think that this is a great achievement by Bayern. They don't have a rich oligarch or sheikh behind them like PSG or Manchester City and they also don't have huge amount of debts like Real Madrid, Barca or many english clubs. In fact Bayern even has Money laying around in the bank. Still Bayern is able to keep up with those teams.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Core vs Ethereum on: February 19, 2023, 12:18:42 PM
Before the recent lunch of core it was speculated that its value would be half of that of Bitcoin which is potentially greater than Ethereum although cores value after lunch was very low compared to their speculation some mining sources say that its value will be greater than that of Ethereum of Which is not promising with the present market cap

I strongly believe that core was not much of a success because their mining duration was too long therefore causing excess supply of the coin during the mining period.

To be completely honest here, i have never heard of core before. Maybe i am not a crypto expert but i do spend some time almost every day reading stuff about cryptos in telegram, on twitter or elsewhere. So if Core would have really been the next big thing that is even bigger and more important than Ethereum, then i think i definitely would have heard of it before. I just checked the project on coinmarketcap and it seems to have a total market cap of around 6 billion $ which is quite a lot for a very new project in my opinion.
Of course it is still miles away from being half as big as Bitcoin. It would need to do a x50 or so to be there.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can wallet to wallet transfer be hack on: February 18, 2023, 07:47:52 PM
i will transfer about $300k tether from my trustwallet to coinbase wallet using either erc or trc.
if some one knows my both wallet address and time of the transaction; any how can that person do something about that transaction? steal, hack, freeze the account etc?
during the transaction or after?

I am not really an IT or blockchain expert but i don't think, that there is any way that a hacker can do anything to access your tokens or coins while they are transfered within the blockchain because to do that this would actually mean that the hacker could access the blockchain itself and if that would ever happen to a chain then this would be the absolute worst case and that blockchain would be dead instantly because it could not be used anymore.
The only thing than can happen is that someone gets access to one of your wallets and once the tokens have arrived they just take them and send them to their own wallet, but for that you also have to make a lot of mistakes before, like saving your private key on your PC and then the PC gets hacked or infested by a virus or something.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 18, 2023, 06:23:49 PM
Bayern Munich has failed to secure a win today in their encounter with Monchengladbach, in the 8 minutes of this match Bayern player was shown a red card which might be the cause of their defeat today but most times Bayern has won matches with red card, it is quite unfortunate to somany bettors and spectators whose conclusion has been that Bayern will be victorious in this match considering the fact that the host team is not in their peak but that's football and anything is possible, Bayern has to restrategize on the way to win their future matches.

It is extremely weird to me, that somehow Bayern Munich is always having a very hard time when they are playing against Borussia Mönchengladbach. I knew about those statistics before the match today started but this time i was really sure that Bayern would win the match today. Bayern had a great momentum before the match with their totally deserved win against PSG in the Champions League this tuesday, while Gladbach had some rough weeks in the past.
I also have to say though, that today Bayern was very unlucky. I watched multiple replays and different angles but for me the red card against Upamecano is still a total joke and the fact that the video referee did not even tell the ref to watch the footage about that scene is just a joke.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 18, 2023, 04:03:06 PM
The chance for neymar to join with chelsea becomes even bigger now since todd faces neymar's agent directly. It's now not just a rumor but let's see what deals that will be meet by both of parties. Im sure that neymar was planning to get a new club.

I don't follow the french league and Paris Saint Germain that closely but during the match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League this tuesday the commentator mentioned, that Neymar is probably playing his best season so far for PSG. It was also mentioned, that PSG already tried to sell Neymar before the start of this season and that Neymar was really sad and upset about that fact. I would also guess that the salary of Neymar is extremely high and that he is probably among the top 5 earners in the world of football.
If he insists on his high salary, then he will have a very hard time to find a new club i think. He still has two years of contract left with PSG so i think he will just stay there.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful Many New Tokens on Coinmarketcap are on: February 18, 2023, 03:56:58 PM
I noticed that Recently CoinMarketCap website has been adding new Tokens without verifying the Token team, goals, and if it's legit.
Most of these currencies collapse during the first weeks of its launch.
i Remember that the website used to check every Token before publishing it to the public.
Has anyone noticed that as well?

I am not 100% sure but i don't think that Coinmarketcap has ever claimed, that they are checking the projects before they are listing it. I know that there are certain criterias that projects need to fulfill in order to be able to be in the top 100 of projects and some of those criterias are still secret as far as i know. In order to just be listed on coinmarketcap at all i don't think that there are any requirement. I mean if that would be the case then all of those stupid meme-coins would not be listed on coinmarketcap because they have anonymous teams (if they even have a real team at all). It makes sense though that there are way more bad tokens listed on coinmarketcap nowadays than a few years ago because of all those stupid meme-coins.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 17, 2023, 08:41:19 PM
The latest rumor for Lionel Messi is reportedly set to join Inter Miami in the upcoming transfer market. It looks like it will be one of the most shocking transfers and it seems that Messi is also considering leaving PSG in the summer. Do you think this is a good enough choice for Messi to join Inter Miami? considering he is in free agent status in the transfer market later.

I personally would be pretty disappointed to be honest if Messi would leave the stage of european football after this summer already. I mean he is already 35 years old but i think he would have at least 2 more years in his tank to play at the very highest level against the best players in the world and if you want to do that you need to play in Europe. Cristiano Ronaldo was 37 years already when he joined that Saudi club to earn those ridiculously high salary, so i think Messi should also play in Europe until he is 37 years.
The big question though is if there are clubs that are willing to meet the probably extremely high salary demands of Messi.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does regulation affect the future of cryptocurrency? on: February 17, 2023, 08:32:45 PM
In some countries, regulators have taken a hands-off approach, allowing the cryptocurrency market to develop freely. In other countries, regulators have imposed restrictions, such as bans on trading or initial coin offerings (ICOs).

I am not quite sure yet what to think about all the regulations regarding cryptocurrencies because for me regulations are like a double-edged sword. On the one side they are bad of course because cryptos were once invented to give it's users the possibilty to transfer wealth without any middlesmen and without any federal banks or institutions involved. On the other hand i think that we need some form of regulation or the very big players and also the broad masses will not start to invest into cryptocurrencies at all. For a lot of people cryptos still have a reputation of being shady and being used to pay for illegal stuff.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 02:12:07 PM

I don't think Ajax was favorite in this match. Ajax may have played well in the group-stage matches. But now Ajax is not in good form. And this was proved once again in Ajax's performance in this match. Ajax's overall performance is very poor. Ajax players did not try to attack in the first half against Union Berlin. I have never seen an Ajax team play so badly defensively before. They made several attacks in the second half. But in the full 90 minutes, they were not able to make a single shot on target. Ajax failed to win this match due to the poor performance of the forward players.

Ajax was still the big favorite in the match against Union Berlin even though Ajax is not in a good shape at the moment. We should not forget where Union Berlin is coming from. They were a part of the second Bundesliga in Germany for many years before they managed to go up to the first Bundesliga only a few years ago. Usually such clubs are fighting to not be relegated down again during almost every season. Ajax on the other side was in the semi final of the Champions League not to long ago and they have almost reached the final back then.
Somehow though Union Berlin manages to perform in almost every game so far in this season.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Momentum Falters as Bitcoin Retreats to $23.6K on: February 17, 2023, 02:04:44 PM
Bitcoin shifted from flying high above $25K to sinking to $23.6K over the course of Thursday.

I would say what is happening right now is not really something special within the crypto space. Price movements of 5% up and down within a day are happening pretty regularly even with Bitcoin and with the altcoins the price movements are even way bigger than that. Regarding the current situation of Bitcoin and the whole market, i think it is completely normal, that we are seeing red numbers today after the price went up pretty fast and also pretty high in the days before. I would call this a healthy correction. Now Bitcoin is standing at around 23.7k $ per coin which is more than 9% higher than a week ago. No need to complain here.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 16, 2023, 10:21:26 PM
Gladbach have become like an a little nightmarish team for Bayern Munich in the recent seasons.
They have been quite solid in home matches especially. There was even an unbelievable match between them in the DFB Pokal which Bayern Munich lost by 5-0.  Grin  I wonder if this can be some psychological advantage for Gladbach here. But Bayern Munich players have a good mental right now also. They are on a winning streak here and they newly defeated PSG in Parc des Princes. With this huge morale I wouldn't be surprised to see another win against Gladbach this time.

I mean we can never be sure how a match will play out, that is the beauty of this sport. This time though i don't really think that Gladbach has a chance to celebrate another victory over Bayern Munich. Even though Bayern Munich did not really have a good start into the second have of the season, they have stabilized in the last few games and against Paris Saint Germain they have shown a very good performance and it seems like they are back on track now.
Gladbach on the other side has lost 3 of the last 5 matches and they are definitely not in a good shape at the moment. Bayern is the clear favorite in this match up even though Gladbach plays at home.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 16, 2023, 10:08:17 PM
I know Crypto had a heck of a run a week ago, and it is giving back which is normal. They have been getting beat real bad and its not stopping. I was on Coin Market Cap an hour ago, and looked at the stable coins. They are all except USDT well below a dollar. All were up 3 to 5% today and still wasnt up to a dollar. They were moving around like they were being fed to try and stay in their dollar spot. I got a bad feeling about today and/or tomorrow. Keep close eye out and react quickly. Hope I am wrong, but its strong enough feeling I just had to say something. Good luck!!    Brandon

I just look af the chart of the prices of the big stablecoins in the last week or so and the statement that all of them, except USDT were well below their peg is not correct in my opinion. BUSD was at around 0.9989 for a short amount of time which means it was like 1/1000th below it's peg and that is negligible in my opinion. The same is true for the price of USDC. It dropped to only 0.9995 so it was really really close to it's peg all the time.
I also have to say though that such minor corrections should also not really be a threat to the peg of those big stablecoins. If they would alread lose 1% or more during a small correction, then this would be very very bad for the whole crypto market. I hope we don't see another big stablecoin collapsing. UST is enough for a few years now.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 16, 2023, 10:36:26 AM
That's right, I've also heard about Bellingham being linked with Chelsea and it looks like Todd Boehly does want to build an amazing squad for next season. But I don't think Bellingham will ever go to Chelsea, of course if he wants to join an EPL club he definitely wants to be at a better club like Manchester City or Manchester United. Although later on if he is influenced by his father and suggests him to Liverpool it looks like it will be the same as going to Chelsea, considering both teams are not doing well this season.

Well i guess it would not really be a surprise anymore, if FC Chelsea would really try to also sign Jude Bellingham in the summer after they have already spent more than 200 M€ for new players this winter, even though usually big transfers are not happening in the winter break for numerous reasons. I also don't think though that Chelsea will have a chance to sign Bellingham even if they are offering him the highest salary. I think he wants to play for the best club possible and i guess he also wants to play for an english club as he is a player for the english national team. I do think though that Liverpool would a good option for him.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any successful ICOs or NFTs lately that ran bounty marketing here? on: February 16, 2023, 10:15:22 AM
I am trying to determine if it still makes sense to use Bounty for promotion of crypto projects - has there been any successful projects that actually used Bounty and then awarded bounty participants? In any niche, DNFs , Gaming, ICOs any type of fundraising campaigns

I have not checked the altcoin bounty section of this forum in a while because i already am part of a very good bounty. I think though that it is still possible to find a really good altcoin bounty, even today. Before i was accepted at my recent bounty i participated in the bounty of Radix. This was almost two years ago but the tokens i got from a few weeks of signature bounty brought me tokens that are still worth 1000$ at the moment and during it's ATH in 2021 or so they were worth around 10k$. So i think it is still possible to find good altcoin bounties. You just need to thoroughly check the project first. Don't just join the bounty of the project that is offering the biggest bounty. If the project is dead already in a few weeks, then it doesn't matter if you got a lot of tokens from them.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 08:39:41 PM
It will be very simple to predict Chelsea playing against Dortmund because it is simply too obvious for anyone to make a guess. The way Chelsea has been playing lately is not at all encouraging, and even their supporters are very disappointed in their performance. Based on the odds, Chelsea is given 3.00 and Dortmund is given 2.30, with Dortmund betting on a straight win.

I am actually pretty surprised, that Borussia Dortmund is the favorite of the bookmakers in the match today. I mean it is true that Borussia Dortmund had a great start in the second half of the Bundesliga so far, with 5 wins in a row. If you have watched some of those wins of Dortmund, then it is also quite clear though, that they were really lucky in at least 3 of those games to get the 3 points. It would have also been very much possible, that Dortmund would have started with 3 draws in a row, because they were not the better team in those 3 games.
If both teams are reaching their normal level, then Chelsea should be successful. The question is, if Chelsea is able to do that.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is suitable and reliable for staking? on: February 15, 2023, 08:34:53 PM
Hello,
The Trust Wallet supporting following coins for staking:
The NativeEvmos (EVMOS) staking reward is 97.09% and the Osmosis (OSMO) reward is 23.08%. Are these coins reliable?
Thank you.

Osmosis is a pretty big project already in my opinion and therefore i would say, that this coin is definitely a reliable one. By reliable i obviously mean that the chances of going out of service or even doing a rug pull or some other kind of scam are very low in comparison to shitcoins. Of course that does not mean that the price of Osmosis will always be at the current level or even rise, because you don't know this about any token out there.
Cosmos is also a pretty good project in my opinion that is also offering nice rewards for stakers. I was also thinking about buying some NEAR and also staking them, but then they did a x2 within a few days and now i hesitate to buy them obviously, but there are quite a few good and established projects out there that are offering nice staking APY's.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 09:39:33 AM
The poor performance of PSG in their past games in Ligue 1 has contributed to their home defeat to Bayern Munich side, It really a thing of shame that the essence of bringing Neymar, Messi and Mbappe together in the team which is helping the club to lift the champions league trophy is becoming a total failure.
Bayern Munich had a great performance last night in France, going over there to grab that 3 points has already given them more advantage over their opponent to be able to advance to the next stage.

The thing with having Messi, Neymar and Mbappe playing together in one team at the same time is obviously great because those three players are always able to create great chances to score even out of completely nowhere. Yesterday was another proof for that because even though Paris was the weaker team yesterday it still felt like they are able to score a goal at almost anytime.
That being said, it is also a disadvantage if you are playing with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi because they are doign literally nothign to support the defense of their team and that is a huge factor in today's football. Other teams are defending with 10 players while PSG is only defending with 7. That is also a reason why PSG has not won the CL so far in my opinion.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tip and Tricks about when to buy or when to sell? on: February 15, 2023, 09:35:05 AM
Hello,
I know that trading requires knowledge, but any tricks for newbies about when to buy or sell? For example, looking at the volume, looking at the queue for buying and selling and etc.
Sorry if my question is not a good question.

There is no such thing as a bad question so don't hesitate to ask here. I am also not an experienced day-trader or something like that so for me it is also pretty hard to tell when the perfect time is to invest into a project, but i would also guess that no one really knows the perfect time for that. All we can do is guess. There are a few indicators though, that can give you at least an indication where the price of a project might go soon. You can look at the order book for example when you are using centralized exchanges like Binance, Kucoin and so on. If the buy side is way bigger than the sell side, then it is very likely that the sell resistance will be broken soon and that the price will rise.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on BUSD and other stables. on: February 14, 2023, 08:57:04 PM
What do you guys think about BUSD? Do you think it's worth using over USDT?
What do you think about stables in general?
I saw a lot of hate towards USDT in the past years, but it seems like despite everything it's still winning over other stables and it doesn't look like it will go down soon.
I know that people see stables like something bad, but I think they are pretty useful when you trade on exchanges and some people are using them as a hedge against inflation so I don't see anything wrong in using them as long as the reserves of this stable are transparent enough.

The hate towards UDST in the past did not came out of nowhere though. People became suspicious of USDT a few years ago when the company behind USDT changed the wording regarding the backign of USDT with real USD from "we have enough USD to back every USDT minted" to "we have enough reserves to back every USDT minted" but they did not say in what form those reserves exist and they also did not show any proof if those reserves even exist at all.
Now USDT is publishing reserve data from time to time and BUSD and Binance itself is under attack. So the tides have kinda changed and now USDT seems to be the safest stablecoin of them all, together with USDC i guess.
