841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTX became the second Luna? on: November 09, 2022, 11:12:44 PM
Well last week was Gala, and today FTT.. What's next? #Bitcoin is the best

Well seems like FTX has just become the next victim of Binance and CZ's road to become the total monopolist of the crypto space. First they buy the biggest overview site of the crypto space with coinmarketcap and of course they use it now to lure new users into their own Exchange and they are highlighting projects that have connections with Binance more than other projects of competitors. Then they announce that they will no longer support USDC as a stablecoin on Binance even though it is a widely adapted and very safe stablecoin. The only reason why they are not supporting anymore was that USDC was managed by coinbase their rival. And now FTX.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 09, 2022, 11:08:25 AM
Sadio Mane injured for about a month, no world cup for him and Sengal chances of doing something down the drain. I am sure big Bayern victory yesterday was enough for him to be happy about  Grin

I am expecting a lot of strange results in this last week before WC, with top players missing out or playing with handbrake.

I also heard about that news or rumor just now. As far as i know it is only the L`Equipe that reported that as of now so it is not officially confirmed yet by Bayern Munich, Mane himself or his national team. If it really would turn out to be true then it would be a huge low blow for Mane himself and an even bigger one for Senegal as a country. Mane really is a national hero in his country and he is far more than just a great football player for his fellow countryman. So i am pretty sure that Mane himself would be devastated if he could not participate in the WC this year. He is 30 years old and in his prime. It would really be a shame.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: November 09, 2022, 11:01:26 AM
To everyone in crypto currency, the bear market is one market where fuds and panic triumph and reign which greatly affects the prices of crypto currency tokens, and yes some projects do not recover from the bear burdens.

But do you know that the bear market is a blessing in disguise for every investors that is prepared and has been waiting for the dump ? So many tokens are going to touch lower lows, and if you are prepared, you can key into this tokens and more than double your money when the bull run is here. The dump is your friend, and is a blessing if you are always ready and prepared for it.

Make sure to look into quality tokens and projects, and ofcourse dyor

In general i agree that a bear market is a good chance for everyone to buy into projects that are already big and established and get them for very low price tags. The problem is stuff like that is only clear in hindsight so now at the moment you might think "wow 1 SOL for 18$ what a steal" but if we are at 10$ per SOL tomorrow then you have already lost almost 50% of your investment so the problem right now is, that we don't know if we go even lower than this. I personally think it could very well happen, but of course i am just as clueless as everyone else. Thanks CZ for causing this dump. He gets to buy FTX for cheap now and all the others lose a lot of money.

Wolfsburg  1 : 0 Dortmund
I am enjoying the match between Wolfsburg and Dortmund. And after 75 minutes the Dortmund team is trailing 1-0. I like Wolfsburg's gameplay better than Dortmund's gameplay. Dortmund continued their poor performance in previous matches. Dortmund's players are quite talented. But their match strategy is not good. Even though they had 62% possession of the ball in today's match, they attacked less than Wolfsburg. If they had played an attacking strategy like last season, their gameplay would probably have improved. Wolfsburg players are playing well. I think Dortmund is going to lose this match.

Dortmund have lost that match in the end with 0-2 against a team of Wolfsburg that played pretty well today. At the moment it seems like Niko Kovac has reached the team and managed to make a real team out of them. The squad of Wolfsburg was considered almost uncoachable in the last few yeras and many good coaches like Van Bommel and Kohlfeldt have failed to bring the players of Wolfsburg back on track.
Also Bayern Munich is now up with 6-1 against Werder Bremen with only a few minutes left to play. So we are again at a 6 points lead of Bayern Munich over Borussia Dortmund. For me that was only a matter of time because Dortmund is just not good enough to give Bayern a real competition in the long run.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win, FTX or BINANCE? on: November 08, 2022, 09:13:21 PM
I don’t know who will win, but I just feel like if the CEO of the biggest crypto exchange fudds about competitors, we all gonna loose.

I already said it again in another thread here in this forum today, that i also think that CZ and binance are just trying to erase another competitor with the announced sell-off of those FTT tokens. I just don't see any other reason why Binance would do this. I heard some stuff of people that the leader of FTX is not a very likeable person but that alone is definitely not a reason to harm one of the biggest projects in the crypto space. In the end it is like you already said. Everyone is affected in a negative way by such actions and i also think that small investors like me are usually the ones that are hit the hardest and we just have to endure it.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 08, 2022, 12:54:01 PM
PSG and Bayern Munich is another big clash in this round. They met each other in the Champions League final two seasons ago and PSG lost that final. Now, Bayern Munich have somewhat worse player squad and worse form but it does not mean they will be an easy opponent for PSG to beat in an aggregated result.

I don't really agree that Bayern Munich has a weaker squad now then back in 2020. I even would say that Bayern has the strongest squad since at least 5 years now or so at the moment. De Ligt and Sadio Mane were absolutely top transfers before this season and they definitely helped Bayern to become even better in terms of performance density of their squad. Also Bayern now has Jamal Musiala in their squad which is probably the most promising young talent in the world of football at the moment.
That being said, PSG also has a great squad of course and for me the outcome of this matchup is totally open, 50/50.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX Affecting Crypto Prices on: November 08, 2022, 12:47:38 PM
GM Crypto Fam. We've seen what's going on with Binance and FTX, so I came by to see what you all think of this since I'm not really sure how everything is going to pan out, and why is CZ doing what he's doing.
FTT collapsed by 15%, BTC had its worst day in two months, dropping 4%, and ETH dropped 5%. All of that in less than 24 hours following this event.

Yeah well FTX is one of the big players of the crypto space after all so i am not really surprised that news about the planned sell-off of FTT tokens by Binance is creating some fear among the crypto investors. I don't really know for sure why Binance is doing that sell-off but for me it is pretty obvious that they just want to harm another competitor again like a few months ago when they stopped supporting USDC as a stableocin on their exchange, even though USDC is a top stablecoin in terms of marketcap and reliability. Binance and CZ become a monopolist more and more and they continue to use that power to harm their competitors.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 06, 2022, 09:32:06 PM
What was that game?
Leverkusen literally demolished Union Berlin by 5-0. Who could have thought that this game would end up with a result like this. I was thinking about the possibility of Leverkusen to get a win. But this was much more than I expected. Everything happened in the second half. Leverkusen were so comfortable about scoring three goals in the first fifteen-minute period of the half. Union Berlin were shocked by this and they couldn't react well to these goals. Now Bayern Munich are officially the leader after many weeks.

Well earlier today there were already discussions in here because the bookmakers also had Bayer Leverkusen as their favorite against Union Berlin today, which seemed weird at the first glance because Union Berlin was the leader of the Bundesliga table before this match day while Leverkusen was only on position 16. It is also still true though that Bayern Leverkusen has the higher quality in their squad. Of course Leverkusen was not that overwhelmingly better today than Union they just were very efficient with their chances and those 3 goals within 10 minutes totally destroyed the morale of Union Berlin today.
Also Freiburg won again and they are now on second place, amazing.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CZ decided to dump all there FTT tokens on: November 06, 2022, 09:25:47 PM
Recently, CZ released a series of tweets stated that Binance will start to liquidate there FTT token from there orderbook as part of there parting ways to FTX exchange since there announcement last year. They are doing it in batch since the liquidity on the orderbook is not sufficient to absorbed all there tokens on a decent price.

Well i don't know about the connections between FTX and Binance but it seems like Binance invested into FTX some time ago or they would not have that many FTT tokens i guess. I am not a big fan of binance in general, simply for the fact that they are slowly but surely becoming very dominating in the crypto space and it is never a good thing if one company is dominating a whole industry sector. A few weeks ago Binance announced that they would no longer support USDC as a stablecoin on their exchange even though it is the second largest stablecoin and also a very reliable one, but of course it is managed by coinbase which is a competitor of Binance so they delisted it and now the same with the sell-off of the FTT token.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 06, 2022, 02:24:08 PM
A bit confused to see the odds between Leverkusen vs Union Berlin because the bookie placed Leverkusen as the favourite
Leverkusen @2.32
Union Berlin @3.15
Last season indeed Leverkusen can able to gets draw results from Union Berlin several times but for today those statistics cannot be used as the reference considering Leverkusen had poor performance and they have to fight to avoid relegated zone

For other match Freiburg vs Koln actually Koln could be tough opponent for Freiburg because they had several times stole points from Freiburg but i will considers home matches statistics from Freiburg could be my reference as my bet because so far with total 9 matches at their home ground in all competitions Freiburg can wins 6 from it so today too i think Freiburg can continue their positive results from Koln and gets 3 points

Given the performances of both clubs so far in this Bundesliga season it definitley is a little surprising to see that Leverkusen is the favorite of the bookmakers for the match today. That being said i can also understand their way of thinking. I mean in general Leverkusen just has a stronger team than Union Berlin and if both teams are able to reach a normal performance level then Leverkusen should win. Of course so far in this season Bayern Leverkusen was not really able to deliver while Union showed a lot of great performances so far and they could be still on the first place of the bundesliga table after this matchday which is crazy.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we see a huge rise in the price of Dogecoin ? on: November 06, 2022, 02:19:57 PM
Elon Musk is a big supporter of Dogecoin and has promoted it multiple times. Now he also owns Twitter where he has many times pushed different crypto projects and caused big fluctuations in the price of different crypto coins.
So is it possible that he will use the ownership title of Twitter to push the prices of Dogecoin also ? I have observed some increase in prices already but will it continue for long run ? Do you think one should bet on this event and spend good amount of money on dogecoin for reaping the benefits later ? Or we should not rely on a man like Elon Musk who has made contradictory statements about bitcoin is past? Which side are you ?

I think we should not expect to much from Elon Musk in terms of really pushing the adoption of Dogecoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole. I think that he likes the idea of cryptos and is also supporting it but it does not really have a very high priority for him i would guess. He is doing so many things at the same time that he can not really spend a lot of time and energy to push cryptos. I also think that the first big effect of his tweets about Dogecoin have already worn off. So even if he makes a positive tweet about Dogecoin now it is nothing new anymore and it will not really have a big effect on the price anymore.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 05, 2022, 06:36:15 PM

Hertha Berlin managed to give a surprise in the game, the 2 goals they created after being 3 goals down added to their confidence in the second half. But unfortunately they were not too strong to reverse the position in the second half. They were late in the heat in the first half so it was so easy for them to lose goals. But the decreased concentration of the Bayern Munich defense could be utilized by Hertha Berlin at the end of the first half. In the second half the match was more interesting, Hertha Berlin managed to frustrate Bayern Munich because they were unable to break down the defense built by Hertha Berlin.

Well in the end Bayern Munich as won the game with 3-2 so i doubt that the Bayern players were that frustrated after the match. Maybe during the game while it was as 3-2 and Bayern was still afraid of getting a very late equalizer like in the games against VFB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund. I watched the match live and i have to say that Hertha had a very great start into the match and in the first 10 minutes of the game they looked very strong and way better then for example Barca and Inter Milan did in their games against Bayern Munich. Then Bayern scored with basically their very first chance and then they pretty much controlled the game from that point on. Except those scenes were Hertha scored 2 goals of course.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 05, 2022, 06:32:32 PM
When you see a crypto news saying that investors are leaving shiba inu and polygon or avalanche for a new project do not always believe, this is a new way to attract the public investors that have no time to do their own research first.
For example, something like this is been going on for a long time now.

One of the first things that i have learned back in 2017 when i joined the crypto space was that it is basically the wild west in terms of blatant shilling, misinformation, spreading false FUD, creating false hype and so on. I also stopped to listen to those crypto influencers a long time ago because i have not found a single one yet that is just giving his neutral point of view on projects. Those influencers are all just shilling those projects in which they could buy in during the seed or private sale. Then they shill this project to their followers to pump their own bag and then they dump on their own followers. It's a very shady tactic but very common.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 05, 2022, 12:06:37 AM
Leverkusen situation is complicated and a lot of things have to be done in the next transfer window this winter or else the team will continue playing around the relegation zone!
The rate of goals received are high and this alone requires a lot of efforts to fix the defence and the midfield lines. They have to spend a bit if they want to stay in 1.Bundesliga..

I don't really think that the bad quality of the players is the reason why Bayer Leverkusen is performing so badly so far in this Bundesliga season. I think it's a mixture of a lot of factors. First of all their most talented player Florian Wirtz had a cruciate ligament tear and could not play in this season so far. Wirtz is probably among the top 3 young players in Europe so that alone is a huge loss for Bayern Leverkusen. Then Schick is also having a pretty bad run at the moment and is not as efficient with his chances as last year.
I also think that they had pretty bad luck. Bayer Leverkusen was the better team in the very first Bundesliga match of this season against Dortmund but they have lost this match and when you start a season with such an unlucky loss then the confidence already gets a hit.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Solana is looking weak on: November 05, 2022, 12:00:26 AM
I read online about how Layer 2 projects like optimism and Arbitrum have both flipped solana in TVL, are Layer 2 projects going to take over Solana in future? Also solana is the only project that is not EVM chain compatible, how is this not bad for Solana?.

For me it is not only the rise of the layer 2 projects of Ethereum like the ones you have mentioned i also think that Solana slowly but surely gets a lot of rivals that are completely new blockchain solutions. The first one that comes to my mind is Aptos i am not really a fan of Aptos because it had such huge investemens of big VC companies like Binance, FTX and many others. They have invested 400 M € into Aptos which means that those big companies are owning a large portion of all the tokens now and they can dump heavily on small investors like us.
There are many other blockchains coming up too in the future like Radix for example.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 04, 2022, 02:59:59 PM
I am surprised no one is talking about this here yet, I guess it's probably because no one really knows who DK Yoo is(even I don't know who he is).
anyway, Manny Pacquiao is having an exhibition match against DK Yoo in a boxing match on December 10. I am not that interested in who he is fighting but I'd still watch the fight because I want to see Pacquiao in the ring again. besides, Pacquiao said that he'd give us a "real fight"(he said in one of the articles I've read) which I hope he would actually do.

I don't really know what to think about this. I really like Manny Pacquiao as a fighter usually but now even he is starting with that stupid exhibition matches. I disliked those stupid exhibition matches from the start and i did not watch a single one of them. The only thing i watched was the highlights of the fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. because i just had to watch Mike Tyson. In general i think all those exhibition matches of Logan and Jake Paul or whatever stupid celebrities or influencers are really hurting the boxing sport as a whole.
Also i think it is time for Pacquiao to retire. He is 43 years now and it would hurt his legacy if he keeps on fighting much longer and gets more losses.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 04, 2022, 02:54:39 PM
Twitter's mMAUs (monthly Monetizable Active Users) stands at 450 million. If they pay $8 per month, that gives Elon $3.6B per month. It will take 13 months to make $44B - the purchase price QED. Elon Musk is a genius.

It would be interesting to know how many of those verified users are staying with twitter and how many are leaving. I would guess though that the overwhelming majority will stay and then you are absolutely right with your statement that this was a great deal by Elon Musk if everything works out as planned. I think though that those verified users don't really have a choice here. I would guess that they make their money with twitter and therefore they need to be verified and there is no other platform that has the same reach as twitter. I know that mastodon is becoming a little bit more popular at the moment but it is still nowhere close to twitter.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 07:52:58 PM
If I have understood correctly, the draw is November 7th. The PSG must have been surprised when they won 2-1 after the change of the whistle. Everyone thought they were the group winner then, but Benfica managed to win with no less than 1-6 and therefore finished 1st in the group. PSG are of course better, but it is certainly not undeserved as they have not won a single game. So in theory we can already see PSG in action against Bayern Munich or perhaps Manchester City. Those are nice pots for the eighth final. I think that Benfica and Brugge normally go out quickly, those are the 2 weakest teams, but they both became group winners and in theory therefore have a weaker opponent.

Paris Saint Germain has won 4 out of 6 games in the group phase so they have definitely not disappointed to much in general i would say. Still it was kind of a surprise, that they only managed to finish in the second place behind Benfica, but i think it would be wrong to blame PSG for that. I think we should rather congratulate Benfica to their amazing performances without any loss so far. I also think that clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are now really nervous before the draw on monday, because if they get Paris as their opponent then this would be way to early for such a big matchup in my opinion. This should happen in the semi-final or final.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn some fractions of coins per day in this bear market? on: November 03, 2022, 07:45:59 PM
Now that Bear market is just getting started what are the most safest ways to make some small amounts of crypto every day without risking your assets? I am not considering trading because the risk of losing it all, any other ways?

Well there is still the possibility to earn a few fractions of different crypto coins through a faucet for example. In this case you need to be aware though that you basically only get like a few cents per claim at most and in most cases you can only claim once every day or so. So even if you are claiming every day for like 100 days you only have a few dollars worth of cryptos. So you definitely will not get richt here even if we are seeing another bullrun in the future. If you really want to start from absolutely zero though then you can use those few bucks in a few months for your investment then and maybe with luck you can slowly but surely increase your portfolio value.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 05:04:26 PM
Man City played impressively yesterday, the first half didn't go in their favor of  scoring. Sevilla scored first but this goal didn't bother them as they kept on playing in courage and dominating the match till this first half was over. Immediately the second half started Man city showed Sevilla that they remain the best in the group by scoring two goal in seven minute. Manchester City won the match 3-1.
In the second half City played excellently with the help of changes that Gardiola did. If they continue in this form,it is possible that they will get to the final stage. Both English team won their match yesterday,Chelsea won 2-1.

Well it is not a big surprise to me that Manchester City has also won their last game of the group stage yesterday. In the end they are the strongest team in the world right now for me and they are again the big favorite to win the Champions League title this year, together with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and maybe Real Madrid. The thing is though is that it is not enough to be the best team and to show the best performance. You also need to be efficient with your chances and of course you also need a little bit of luck on your side in order to really win the champions League title. ManCity also was the best team last year but they were very unlucky when they were eliminated by Real Madrid.
