Why develop two coins? Just put twice the effort into the one coin to make it the best you can. This makes no sense.

What a surprise. I bought this at the beginning at 300 sats and I watched everything unfold. I never sold because by the time I knew there was no hope I had lost 95+% of my invetment. I just wrote it off as a loss and a lesson learned. Today I learned another lesson that I can't quite put into words but this was quite a shock to find that I actually had something of value when I logged into my account for the first time in 3 months on that particular exchange. I'll just keep holding this coin. Free roll I guess considering I thought I lost that money forever and had no idea the takeover was actually going to happen. Cheers.

Polylogic that was a very thorough guide for how to run a masternode. Could you please set up a guide for how to sync the windows wallet. Mine will not sync and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to sync it.

I still can't figure out how to sync my windows wallet. I know I'm an idiot but could someone create a youtube video on getting your wallet up and running from scratch as well as setting up a masternode. I think this would definitely help increase the popularity of the coin. I can't be the only one with this problem. Someone told me the nodes to add but I'm a lay person. I have no idea what to do.

My DAS wallet for windows will not sync. It gets stuck saying 0 hours left. What do I do?

So does this coin do anything or is this another coin that has a high marketcap because people have a hard on thinking about how this coin "may" be used in the future?  Seems to me people buy this coin based on a hypothetical idea that never gets implemented

Can someone fill me in on how the marketcap is 1/6th of what has been traded today? That makes no sense at all. Like the entire market has been like i'm gonna buy this coin, nah I'm selling it, ok I'm buying, no no no I'm selling and then repeat that 3 more times. This makes no sense. Even if we account for the 66% drop in price that stil means twice the market cap has been traded today. Wtf is that about? Did coins just magically appear out of nowhere?

Well again I want to thank everyone for the advice. I won't be paper trading because I'm like a kid with fire but one of the lessons I have taken to heart is to not put all of my trading capital into one trade. I will split it up into 1/5s and I won't use all 5 unless I see five trades that I think should happen. I avoid the fomo buys where things are peaking and I buy dumps.

I'm not really sure if those are solid rules for gains but in my head it makes sense which is what I went for in poker. Also I look at the order books. I'm not sure if this is a profitable strategy but so far in the very short term, statistically insignificant term it has been profitable.

One thing I learned regarding my emotions is that I really wanted to buy something (because I saw all those gains) then I need to not buy it and if I really want to sell something because I'm seeing these losses (barring news that means I have to sell) then I need to just do the opposite. Again I could be right or I could be wrong but that's how I see it right now.

All of the advice given in this thread has been very helpful. There is obviously a lot to learn. I feel like I've been studying the markets non stop for the last month and a half and still feel very lost. I've only learned a couple easy spots to make profits. Everyone's advice has been greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your advice as well. I'm surprised I didn't think of watching things on youtube. I am an interactive learner as well so I'm glad you mentioned that.

Thank you for the reply. I will check out that website and try to focus more on paper trading until I can figure out a winning game plan and stick to it.

I know your last advice about not letting emotions get in the way is sound advice. It sounds easy on paper but admitting you are wrong on a trade and taking a loss is one thing I struggle with now. Hanging onto losers has eaten more of my profits than anything.

I know this may seem like something that is easy to find with google but I am having a difficult time finding a good forum or website where trading strategy is the primary goal and I can improve my skills. I used to play online poker and stopped after Black Friday.

My question is are there any websites that are like the 2+2 forums, card runners or deucescracked etc.? Where have you gone to learn about daytrading cryptocurrencies?

I got into this a little over a month and half ago and while I am up because of just a lucky decision or two I am quickly going to lose my ass if I don't figure out some sort of effective strategy.

In short, I suck at this and really need some help.

Thanks

Edit: Before someone replies I just want to throw this out there, I'm pretty sure this is a good website to learn about coins and what not and I come here everyday but I have a very hard time sorting through the bullshit. Obviously this place might be a great place but I might be in the wrong sections.
