As soon as you start reading and posting on bitcointalk, your logged in time will soon be measured in days, not hours Wink

True. I spent tons of hours here during this week reading all sorts of threads. Just now I wanted to reply to this thread to offer my services translating stuff into German and noticed that I couldn't even reply yet. Working my way up to five posts now. Cheesy

Oh - it's five?  Damn, thought it was four!

I hope I get let out soon Wink

I think every body have enough of new coins ...
You know why ftc was at 0.005 ? Cause people want money, and thank it will be good to be one of the first user of new crypto currency.

But we dont need new crypto IF they are clones..

LTC is different from BTC, it s more quick. LTC will be use for pay quicly on internet.
BTC is an auction.

But all the rest is big chit. Specially FTC. They say too poor people dont worry, invest, and at the end the creator win money and lot of people loose.

We dont need CNC we have litecoin.
We dont need FTC we have litecoin.
WE dont need Bitbar we have bitcoin.
We dont need TRC cause is chit.

Yes, yes, i know my nickname is cnclove but ...

... Fuck the new coins.

A thousand new get rich quick religions....    But we are all guilty - even BTC can't really buy much.  Don't get me wrong, I am an optimist - but years from now people will write economic papers about all this explosion of crypto craziness, and maybe one or two currencies around now will work - no models I can see thus far, even BTC has its flaws...

BTC could be the crypto MySpace, who knows Wink

why did everything get so quiet all of a sudden on the potato front?

Were you hoping it might get interesting Wink

(Only posting because I need to get out of newbie cage, sorry!  Three posts done....)
3284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im Buying XRP Ripple coins! on: May 05, 2013, 10:30:00 PM
I'm also looking for some ripples. They seem to have a promising future once people start to fully understand them.

I didn't qualify for the giveaway, but have bought for BTC.

Not a great interface, and it is a steep learning curve.   You need a (paradoxically) to have XRP before you can do any business, so you need to buy some (or get given some) - then you can trade.

And careful you get the buying / selling the right way around, it is daunting - but great once you get the hang of it.

Only BTC  XRP (ripples) trading works - no-one really trades any fiat there at all yet.

Early days - but I have been buying in.

If I have any cred here I would sell XRP for BTC to members here, but I am a newbie, and therefore not allowed to talk on the grownup forums Sad

(First post done!)

Basically, go to ripple, get a wallet and then buy some at Bitstamp first - only way to get in.  There are guides on here on how to do it...  Smiley
