Any clues to the power draw at the wall? or advertised specs?

Cheers,
QG

Hi,

Unfort. no sorry. Never bothered hooking up a meter, although probably would have been the smart move. I've just had it running.

Cheers,
Jeff
PS: There's probably an answer here in the forums somewhere Smiley

14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Building a custom KncMiner Firmware on: February 21, 2014, 01:15:12 PM
Hi,

Edit: Main reason for asking, would this firmware edit help my miner?

I have a Mercury that crashed a little while ago, and now will only accept and hash on firmware 98. If I try 99 or above, it just says Status: Stopped. Surely it's not the dead die causing this issue? As before the crash, I was able to tweak all dies on with the 99-tune firmware.

Any suggestions as to how I can fix this myself? I've tried Beaglebone flash as well, but nothing.

Thanks,
Jeff

Edit: It'll hash on .96 firmware too, but only to 10GHS and decides to jump up and down through the hashes from 10 to 0 to 11 to 0.

Any ideas?
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: February 18, 2014, 10:22:43 AM
So... I'm guessing 60*C is hot for these miners? I removed the fan that came with it because it was noisy as anything and replaced with a KNC fan I had, now it's reaching 61*C, probably not good for the miner...

Yup,

I want to send BTC to this service and have them automatically send me the USD to my PayPal, based on the BTC price.

Now they're two confirmations on the Blockchain, but none on the exchange, how does that work exactly? Do exchanges only check the confirmations every so often or something?
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins Lost In Transit? on: January 30, 2014, 09:16:41 AM
My coins finally pending confirmation on the exchange, woohoo!

Thanks guys Smiley Just re-opened wallet again this afternoon and once it caught up, it must have re-done it Smiley
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins Lost In Transit? on: January 29, 2014, 10:46:47 PM
after the transaction doesn't go through for a certain amount of time ur wallet will rebroadcast the transaction or it will be canceled and returned to your wallet. you have nothing to worry about --unless that exchange input address gets reused -- but u might not be able to get to ur coins for a few days/ up to a week

Hey, thanks heaps, was worrying for a minute there. The address shouldn't get re-used, hopefully, I still have an active account with them. But I have to wait a week? Seriously lol...

Thanks again Smiley
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoins Lost In Transit? on: January 29, 2014, 10:08:54 PM
Hi All,

So I sent some Bitcoin from my PC Wallet QT to an exchange last night, and right after my internet cut out. I checked the transaction status in my wallet and it said not transmitted. So, I closed my wallet, and re-opened it, checked the transaction info again and it says 0 unconfirmed.

It's been sitting in that status all night with no confirmation on the exchange end either.

Are my coins lost in transit? Is there something I can do to amend?

I've checked the hash in Blockchain and it says invalid? Sad

Your help appreciated.

Cheers,
