Hello Minexcoin Community,

I'm looking for people who are willing to host a Electrum Server for Minexcoin.

Now the Electrum android wallet is almost finished I need to load it some default servers to connect to. Currently I'm running a single server. We need multiple backup servers to create a stable electrum infrastructure for Minexcoin

You need a Linux server to run the server. Hardware requirements are low, the server can even run on a raspberry Pi.

If you're hosting a server 24/7 , please let me know so I can add them to the electrumx peerlist and Wallet software.

As soon as we have a couple server online   I can release the Android Wallet(also for Windows & Linux)

I've committed all the changes from the official repo. All commits done to the official repo will also be applied to this one now and in the future (as long as the commits are compatible)

It was patched the same day it was announced. electrum is at 3.0.5 already. not vulnerable anymore

As some of you know i've been working on making the opensource electrum wallet compatible with minexcoin.
As of today i've compiled it on Linux, Windows and Android.
The android wallet still needs some work, fix some bugs, commit some changes (security patches) from the official repository and change some gui design elements. Everything will be on github when done, no eta just yet. but sooner rather then later.

The electrum server that the client run from is ready,but having only one server is not good. The code will be up on github soon, after which anyone can host one.

Minexbank works perfectly atm. Must be you.

Not worried at all,I suspect extremely low interest rates. Minexcoin works because it has from the first block replenished the minexbank reserves. So basically each coin in existence due to the mining is backed by a small amount of minexbank reserve. Now imagine the BCI snapshot. hundreds of thousands will from the start be available for parking, only backed by the initial reserve. That reserve will be in bad shape from the start, having to catch up from day one. I don't be believe for a second that BCI will be able to provide ample interest rates without depleting reserve. It's a flawed fork.

Just a quick reminder that the copycat coin Bitcoin Interest (BCI) is still out there, alot of people in their announce topic still unaware that it's a ripoff. I just made a post in that topic again. I urge you guys to to do the same, show your disapproval

I have asked the same thing before. This coin should be easy to implement due to it being based on bitcoin.
This would mean a huge a step forward. Plz Devs email them, I know your working on your own android app but it doesn't have to compete. coinomi is already a well established and trusted platform.  It's great to use. So contact them!

This one is destined to fail since the copy cats don't have  the minexbank algorithm  minexcoin works on.
Be aware if this coin tanking quickly.

Such a continueing rise in price wouldn't be good. That's just a pump.
I'm actually very happy with the current price. It has been stable around this value for around 2 weeks now. thats great news.

I have unlucky enough to forgot checking the deduct tx fee checkbox while sending some mnx.
Parked all but 3 MNX at 5.3%. then send a 3 MNX transactions that totalled 3.0004. Found out only when rates changed again.
Costly mistake haha 

In other things:
Really liking the android app. The notifications you get when the parkings end are great. Makes for very efficient parking

Are you really that stupid?
Theoretical block emission rate is 180 seconds. Which is 480 blocks a day or 1200 MNX. per year thats 438000 MNX. To mine 10 million MNX would take 10000000/438000 = 22 years and 303 days.
I don't call 22 years quick. That you weren't able do this this simple math is proof you have no idea what your talking about.

Yes the minexbank reserves are exhaustible, the reserves won't stay at 1.5 million and it doesn't have to.
Devs have already calculated this in, they are not stupid and now the reserves will start to deplete.
But as price rises, rates decrease and with the increasing minexbank fee over time (up to 70 percent at the end)

By the time any depletion happens we would already have the minexmarket and the exchange. Which can generate even more mnx in fees for the minexbank. Useless guy is talking as the block rewards will always be to only source of income of the minexbank. This just isn't true, therr are so many ways.
