1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to spend up to $2500 for the best mining solution on: October 25, 2017, 09:48:57 AM
If you wanna do it as a hobby, try it. It's quite fun and you have always something to do.
If you wann earn money, it could be way better to invest in cryptos, at least it would've been for me that way.
Who knows if I can even pay off my mining rigs anytime soon Roll Eyes

Staking problem?
Should I do something to be able to stake? The status in my Window wallet continue to claim that I haven't any mature coin so far. But in the facts I have some coins with more than 1000 confirmation....

thanks for any help...

The staking age is 36 hours. Wait a little bit more.

I woke up to an extra 10 LUX in my wallet, what is that for? It was not from POS. So cool, is that a bonus for mining on the official pool? That doubled my balance lol. Thanks.

Yeah me too. Nice bonus for testing master nodes / compensating the pool downtime I would guess. Thanks!

Is the official pool down? Getting connection errors.

Edit- Might be a problem my end, getting it on all the pools. I will have to look into it.

Official pool seems down, altminer is working right now (accepting shares).

Shares are accepted as usual at altminer. Probably only the webinterface is getting ddosed.

this POS makes me happier Smiley I still don't understand the algorithm, but it feels good
How many coins should I have in my wallet for POS? What settings?

As many coins as possible ofc Grin. Your wallet needs to be running and has to be unlocked if encrypted.

Does staking work for you? Some of my coins have even 400+ confirmations but staking won't start. Wallet is saying "no mature coins". Wallet is unlocked for staking only.

How long will it take for coins to mature?

No reason for devs to do a DDoS. Think a bit before writing...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO 12th October] 🔶 Exxor - Next Generation IOT 🔶 on: October 09, 2017, 08:51:18 PM
Hi, everyone

We believe our main difference from IOTA is that we are more business-driven with determined selling approach. Our initial target market will primarily consist of business enterprises which according to BI Intelligence IoT report (2016) will be the biggest investors and top adopters of IoT. One of our sales strategy activities will involve partnerships with corporations which would offer our technology to their clients. In this way, we can reach a considerably wider market and conserve resources compared to selling to end-clients ourselves. In addition, while we may sacrifice a little on our autonomy, partnerships will provide more flexibility to our development process and ease to stay up to date with the industry needs and expectations.

We recommend joining our telegram at t.me/exxer_org for further and in-depth discussion.

We are doing our best to solve those minor bugs so that everyone who is interested in our project can participate without any doubts. We appreciate everyone's feedback and are open for suggestions and discussions.

P.S Apologies for late response, we had some issues with posting

Thanks for answering. I'm whishing you good luck for your project.
Try to bring your coin to more exchanges than IOTA. This kind of annoys me, that IOTA can only really be traded at Bitfinex.

This just sounds like an IOTA clone. What are your key differences? What are you trying to make better?

If you advertise it only as a standard erc 20 token it's fine by me. But it is in no way superior or disruptive...

But it is! Everything that BitcoinCash can do, eBCSH can do 10x better. For example, speed, security, technology, scalability are just a few advantages out of dozens.

Just use any of the hundreds of already existing erc20 tokens than. There really is no need for generating another one and trying to grow user interest by using bitcoin cash name. I'm out here Grin

How are you getting your 210W power reading? With a Kill-a-watt or similar?

I'd be surprised if it's not more like 250-300W for just the card with a 120% PL like you've shown

I think it should be at around 300W too

Come on, making an erc20 token of every known currency prefixed with letter "e" isn't funny anymore.
For worse you are trying to make money with this... Don't buy in these eXXX coin scams...

Better post and warn the people for putting money in eBTC, eLTC, eXRP, eDash - against them SIGT is trustworthy as hell Smiley
