That's very bad news... And it's even worse that it looks like this platform did not survive this hack... There is "CryptoHub closure" message on the platform website...
Yes. But at least they're offering refunds. But looking at how dead this topic is and how little everyone is discussing this, it seems nobody was using this exchange I held a not big amount of sh*tcoins there... And the problem is I don't know where to hold them now... The native wallet of those coins? I don't want to download native wallets for every sh*tcoin... I will waste my time and also some wallets can contain viruses... Security doesn't come easy. Either you do hard work to protect your money or you trade security for ease of use. PS - why would you even want a coin whose wallet is virus?

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About to give up on Cryptocurrency? Read this before you do

As a young graduate, surviving was the next thing on my mind. I ventured into some entrepreneurial business and was able to raise a good sum of money. I went searching for what I could invest my money into, and I was introduced to cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, I did no research and was a victim of twitter shills and call groups. I would rush and buy whatever coins anyone shilled. Little did I know I was only helping the ‘whales’ make more money. If I can remember correctly, I have over 150 cryptocurrency spread across many cryptocurrency exchanges, and right now, I am almost 97% down in my portfolio.
I had given up. Lost all hope, told myself I would start all over again. I was in despair at how I squandered my first savings. Then a friend told me I could trade my coins to make some profit in order to recuperate my loss.
TRADING? Terrible Idea. I had no experience whatsoever, I just jumped on the wagon. And to say I lost almost half of my savings is not an understatement. Trading for me was even worse. I almost went nuts. I wouldn't sleep because I was trying to get in a good position. Eventually I would sell at a loss, because of the fear of loosing it all. Lets just say, it wasnt meant for me. Then I gave up on that too.
BOUNTIES? Yes, i tried that too. To be honest, I made some money out of this. I am young and some people think I am intelligent 🤓. I would write articles for ico startups and get paid at the end of the ICO. But like every other thing, the space got saturated, many ICOs exit scamming, while others started cheating bounty hunters. My efforts were no longer getting rewarded.
BUT I NEVER GAVE UP...... After all this, I still did not give up on cryptocurrency. Wondering why? I never gave up because I believe strongly that cryptocurrency is the future. Having had the exposure to read through most of these startups whitepapers, I believe that If they only got a chance to actually put to test their ideas, then the world would come to appreciate cryptocurrency as a whole. Till then, I am keeping my fingers crossed and keeping the hope alive.
What about you, in this crypto winter, what are you up to? What is your expectations at the end of it all? Are you in it for money or for the technology? Share your ideas and maybe I could learn from you.
I've been here since years and I would like to welcome you. I would also like to appreciate you sticking around even after suffering staggering losses, but let me assure you made the right decision to stick around and you'll be rewarded for that. The bear season will be over soon and then you know what happens. If trading isn't for you, you'll be amazed to know how much HODLing can do for you. ...If they only got a chance to actually put to test their ideas, then the world would come to appreciate cryptocurrency as a whole...
And that's a very big 'if', but crypto is here to stay for the foreseeable future.

Hey Guys!I have a small update to share: We launched our new maintenance page with countdown for the full webrelease including updated team info, roadmap, whitepaper, voting dApp and many more! Unfortunately, it took longer than expected, because our first webdevelopement company missed all deadlines, so we had no other choice than switch the company. We are sorry for the delays, but since protech.global took over responsibillities for our webdevelopment things are running fine and progress is made really fast. https://eBitcoin.orgIf you want to stay Up-To-Date, feel free to subsribe to our Newsletter. Glad to see this is still alive and kicking! One question though: Is eBTC still going to be an ERC20 token?

Is there a time frame for a total reduction plan?I don't know if the 100 million total is too much, but if more exchanges are listed, it can diversify the supply of transactions, and a single exchanges doesn't tell the whole story.
Does this mean that there is a plan to reduce total coin supply? I didn't check this detail, but I have noticed that ober 90% of total supply is still not circulating. This is one of the things the team has been discussing internally and will like to put more thought into. If in case we decide to push forward with this idea we will let the community know. For now no decision has been agreed regarding supply reduction.

I am quite impressed with the persistence of these guys I am still sitting on the original pile of airdropped coins. Further on, I am just waiting patiently for what's to come. If it's a scam, so be it. If it's not, well, let's hope so. what are you talking about? I think the airdrop ebtc has long been finished and there is no problem at all , I personally earned profit when im trade with ebtc I think he means that is still holding the eBTC received at the beginning and just holding until the end.

So if I'm reading this correctly, the developers are reserving 67% of the token supply for themselves?
Came here to read up about the project. Thank you for posting this. I'm out. This Honeybadger Do Care! (about projects that are fair) So you discovered something hidden which was not explained in token allocation? You should read the distribution plan and start create adventure into this topic. It is clear from the day 1 nothing hidden from the community. No, I did not discovered anything 'hidden'. I'm saying it's a matter of great concern to me and should be for anyone trying to invest anything in the project. I have not invested and no one in their right mind should. 67% dev funds is this true?
