1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What way(s) can a new coin jump from $0.00 to $0.000000000001 on: September 26, 2018, 05:19:00 PM
Well this is an interesting question that goes back to the beginning of time.

Before banks, trading markets, and other mediated forms of exchange people would barter based on percieved value. A cow for 20 chickens, or something like that. The value of an item is whatever people decide it to be. Yes, exchanges help make the process easier, but it's just a means to an end.

If someone thinks your asset has value, they will give you something for it.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRESALE] The Zydrogen Project on: September 19, 2018, 06:49:06 PM
How can you guarantee that your project will not become a Scam? What guarantees will investors receive in your project beyond what they received in others (hint - no, as before). I would like to invest, but most of the project with masternodes became a Scam.

The fact that our documentation shows that we are serious. The whole point of this project is to prevent that from happening to others. We would not waste our time creating a thought out concept, with a well written whitepaper, with a unique coin + reward distribution, improvement on existing platforms, etc if we were going to run away and scam. Our team has put significant time and effort researching the space, and running a legitimate project will be much more profitable for everyone involved, investors included. We are also investigating collaboration with the KYD project to potentially alleviate some of the fears.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 19, 2018, 03:54:25 PM
Of course. Bitcoin has survived multiple bear markets in the past. Nothing is really different about this one. Just hold and wait.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRESALE] The Zydrogen Project on: September 19, 2018, 03:52:10 PM
I have my doubts, if I have not misunderstood, they want to compete against the GIN platform. What differentiates you from them? Also if in principle it is a ZMG swap, why do they want to drown the investor more? Because we do not know anything about the DeV's? Many uncertainties in this world that has been so recently broken ...

The goal of this project is not to swap ZMG. We are not picking up the pieces made by the scamming runaway dev team. All we are doing is giving those holders the opportunity to regain some of their lost value in the long run.

As for the difference in platform, our whitepaper states we have several unique features. Such as the option of renting nodes with BTC at market price (rather than being routed via exchange), instant hot wallet withdrawals, and risk profiles for each coin.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRESALE] The Zydrogen Project on: September 18, 2018, 03:41:14 PM
Why have you written "Galaxy Node Collateral" and "Galaxy Node Reward"

Where has "Galaxy" come from? Isn't it a Zydrogen node?

Also, if I was to buy in presale, when do I actually receive my coins to setup a masternode?

“Galaxy Node” is simply the term we are using to brand the masternodes. Galaxy Node = Zydrogen Masternode
Your coins will be released at most within 3 weeks of the presale completion. Bug testing on the network is needed for something of this scale, so that is most of the delay.

 ZDN Miner Reward Percentage: 47%
Galaxy Node Reward Percentage: 47%
R&D Percentage: 6%

I think this is an interesting project, the interest is the same for both the owners of the node, and for the miner. if I understand correctly, will the network be launched in November?
We thought splitting rewards equally between miners and Galaxy Node owners would incentivize users.

Network goes live in October barring sigificant setbacks. We will keep you updated through our media channels.

Asking for customer info but not providing proof of your own identity, nor any legal company in a serious country?

Sounds like another scam trying to pray on people looking for a real project.

False promise and cartoon admin.

Anonymity is highly valued within the crypto space, this is not debateable. The only customer info we are asking for is an email (throwaways can be created) and a Discord name for contact following the presale.

You are projecting an image that is not accurate. A significant amount of time and effort has been put in to reach this point, and we will not be swayed by FUD.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] [PRESALE] The Zydrogen Project on: September 17, 2018, 08:25:26 PM

The era of masternode scam projects ends here.

Project Statement

The Zydrogen Project intends to become a powerhouse in the masternode space. After watching coin after coin exit scam, defraud investors, and fail to deliver on promises, it became apparent that a change was needed. By having a trusted source to review and verify the legitimacy of masternode projects, the subsect as a whole can become safer.

In addition to the community driven review service, a masternode hosting platform is on the roadmap for development. More details are available within the whitepaper.

In order to fund vital aspects of this project, such as platform development, blockchain updates, and targeted marketing, an presale will be held, starting September 17. It will run for three full weeks, during which time a (limited) free masternode promotion will be held for the community. More details are available within the Discord server.

Additionally, as this project was born from the ashes of another scam coin, ZMG, it was taken into account that those holders should be given the opportunity for a second chance. Thus, ZMG holders will be able to participate in the presale at a discounted rate if they so choose.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: September 17, 2018, 07:24:50 PM
I need good liquidity on any exchange, with a minimum of fake volume.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BK's Boss Method For Trading Crypto? on: August 20, 2018, 01:51:59 AM
You're correct in your assumption. Moving averages give a more general trend of the market. Having quick price jumps will muddy the results on an MA chart, and won't really reflect the day to day volatility of price as much (imo). However, you can be a day trader basing your strategy off of MA charts, you just have to know what to look for. It looks like the guy in your video encourages buying on MA crossovers, which is a valid strategy.

If you're getting into charting, you should open a free Tradingview account, and mess around with the things on that site. You could try that guy's strategy if you'd like, or there are hundreds of other indicators you can use. Either way, knowing how to read a chart will help you make more money in the long run.

We've now got a masternode script up and running, SUN masternode installs are now quick and flawless.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: August 05, 2018, 10:40:32 PM
Buying coins under $1 is an arbitrary price point. Is there a true value to any product in the world? That being said, I have to evaluate the projects I see at face value. Roadmap, use case, development team, etc are things I look at when choosing to invest.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RE-ANN] SUN - SunCoin [MN][NeoScrypt][Fund][Community Driven] on: August 04, 2018, 04:55:21 PM
The community around this project is pretty interesting. One of the members is already running a sun powered masternode.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin the right cryptocurrency to start trading for a newbie? on: July 31, 2018, 10:28:54 PM
I would say yes. It's the most accessible by far, and the simplest to get into. Buy and hold for a little, until you see how the volatility of the market works. Then as you learn, you can branch out into other altcoins if you have the funds.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptobridge Exchange good or SCAM? on: July 29, 2018, 04:22:52 PM
I don't believe Cryptobridge is a scam exchange. I have had issues with long withdrawal/deposit times, not being able to connect to nodes, etc but things always work out in the end.
However I will say that some of the daily trade volumes on coins are a little suspect.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of crypto wallets users has grown more then 7 times from 2015 to 2018 📈 on: July 22, 2018, 10:41:42 PM
That's good, but many people will open a wallet and never use it again. Usage metrics are where it's at imo.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: July 17, 2018, 09:36:42 PM
As a trader, you must take profits consistently, regardless of price. While accumulating BTC is always a great move, converting some into fiat now and again is never a bad idea.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nodium (XN) - Masternode Privacy Focused Cryptocurrency on: July 16, 2018, 09:54:27 PM
The amount of crybabies in this thread is absurd. Yes, the price of the coin has tanked. But the same is true for basically every other coin this year. If you don't like it, then dump the project and don't come back. The fud you see here is basically factless garbage, see you in the next bullrun.

My opinion of the team themselves:

They've shown themselves to be pretty active and professional on the Discord and Telegram. They meet deadlines and seem to be working on little things to push the project forward. This isn't reflected in price, although that is not their fault. I'd rather have an undervalued project with good devs than a pile of shit get pumped to the moon.
They do have real devs and I believe they will actually get around to the DEX by the end of the year as planned.

All could work if you wasn't newbie account. As higher ranked accounts posted against it I would say they are more trusted than you post.

Fair enough. Gotta get my post power up then.
