so while solo mining goldcoin for the fun of it. cgminer said block found accepted, my wallet, which is brand new, says transactions 1. yet nothing shows under transactions tab, nothing listed as immature, or unconfirmed. I guess i dont get it. usually when i get an orphan it just shows as rejected in cgminer, this one said accepted and even my wallet shows "number of transactions: 1" Never encountered this and couldn't find relevant information when searching the forums.

ive seen a bug that might be related to this on simple pool's pplns in his news section before stating something along the lines of some blocks don't auto payout properly or something. He uses the same pool software so maybe thats the culprit regardless if it was not infact orphaned im sure coinbrah will let us know when he is home and has time to look at it

I dunno, maybe a bug? do you have anything in transaction history for block 60,973 ?

dang i think the last block orphaned or something. I've got nothing in my transaction log for it

hurrah another block by me

I was more concerned with the pool operating properly more so then possessing more coins. the round estimate of 12 or w/e and recieving 1.9 just threw me off. lol

the block i solved i had an estimate of like 13 wdc, i did over 50% of the shares, and was the top contributor for the round. but ended up with under 2 wdc. Did something go wrong or am I misunderstanding this. - to clarify i'm only asking about the situation, not complaining if thats how I came accross.

with cgminer im using "-Q 0 -s 1 --expiry 10 -I 19 --no-submit-stale", averaging 30 shares a minute per stock 7950. Its the most optimal that I have found on my own for this pool but if anyone knows more efficient settings i would gladly try them for the good of the pool.

I just did find one to anyone curious about the pool, come on in the waters great.

don't worry i've come to town to save the day

sorry kano i was hoping that meant you cant mine different coins at the same time, which was never my intention. my apologies. I suppose i will setup something to ping my current pool and if packets lost restart cgminer with different config.

I've been searching for an answer to this for a bit now and im not sure how to accomplish the following.
with the fallback option, lets say i was mining litecoins on pool x with the scrypt flag (obviously) and wanted to fallback to a bitcoin pool if the litecoin pool was down. What would be the best way to accomplish this. is there a way to disable the scrypt flag once its been launched with scrypt or what do you guys think my best solution would be to have something like this work. another option i could do if possible is change it through the api but im not aware of algorithm changing being a cgminer api option. thanks in advance guys.

ronados, daily estimate around 600, last 3.5 hours ive received total 4 coins. I even found one of the blocks

The Built in stratum miner with this. the local standalone one. What kind of flags can i pass in the flag field for that? ive got all my units going through one socket but I want to make sure theres no flags i could be using on stratum proxy that might help with anything. Thanks guys

paul do you still suggest trying "--queue 0 --expiry 1" since you've increased the files size. The blocks are solving so fast often i cant get an accepted share in before the next and it causes both my hash rate and my expected round pay to decrease significantly. Thanks for your input.

I did get the site to load but i assume i fall into the missing coins category like others since my estimates were .8 coins per block for probably an hour but never got credits over .28 for any blocks and it says i have 0 unpaid shares. I assume this will be worked out
