Are buying 3x USB Bitcoin Block Erupter ASIC Miner 330MH/s worth it?

I seen these on ebay and I was just wondering if they would be worth it to mine and I was just wondering if I were to mine at least 10hours a day for a month, how much btc do you think I'll make? Just a brief estimate would be nice or just a realistic opinion about buying 3 for $15 each

Yes, with LocalBitcoins.com, the seller has the Bitcoins automatically escrowed by the LB.com system. Once your payment is marked received, the Bitcoins are released. If there's any issues they will step in. There's really no way to cheat the system that I can see. Just save your receipts.

Alright thanks! I was under the impression lbc was only for meet ups haha

what's the easiest way to pay? moneypak or meet in person?

Cash deposit to bank, its towards the middle-bottom of the page.

Am I protected from scammers this way? so if I have a receipt showing the deposit I can be protected?

I think being a bitcoin forum and posting it here, you should consider accepting bitcoin

I agree, using escrow will also give us some type of security. paypal is such a pain sometimes

how long does it take for moneypak? if you find a trustworthy seller?
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Easiest way to get btc? on: September 25, 2013, 12:20:46 AM
The easiest way is probably coinbase You just signup enter in your bank info and coinbase will do 2 small transactions to confirm it's your account, After that you are good to go you can fund your account via ACH withdraws from your bank, It only takes a few days.

The other way is dealing with individual sellers but you are more likely to be scammed that way.

I like to stay away from transferring through my bank, I'll just look for good feedbacked sellers.

Ok so I know using CC and paypal are no no's for sellers because of scammers.

So what about for us new/low feedback people? Is moneypak/sending it first the easiest and no hassle way to deal with another member (that's trustworthy)?

How does moneypak work anyways? I know I buy a $5 card thing, put money in it and how do I send it to the seller? What are the ways to help ensure I don't get scammed?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Virwox taking more than 48 hours to transfer my btc to my coinbase address!!! on: April 21, 2013, 02:51:22 PM

Someone mentioned in the sticky thread that he screenshoted all the messages and paypal went in favor of him.

For moneypak, are there any fees for it? So I basically just look for a high rep person on this forum to buy it correct?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Tips buying BTC with paypal from high rep people? on: April 21, 2013, 02:29:18 AM
Ok so I see that "sublime5447" seems like a reputable paypal seller. I know that paypal is risky for both members but are there any tips on buying from paypal? Like if you screenshot every message etc

I'm willing to do whatever it is necessary to protect the seller and myself, so when messaging we will clearly say what the deal is. NO BS

I'll do whatever the seller wants (for ex, clearly say what the deal is and every detail needed) as long as I get the BTC in the end  Cool

I wish paypal was more safe to sell AND buy, I hate how all these scammers made paypal a bad name
