MONERO is increased because it is been added to the major exchange soon. after the event, we will see huge dumps. and the price could go even lower than it was before.

AEON is using legacy MONERO code from 2014, the coin is about to be delisted from bittrex - they said this in one of he the support tickets. AEON already delisted from polo and cryptopia - and hitbtc could be the next. so good luck buying it. there are tons of cryptonote forks BCN, XDN, SUMO, BITCOAL and they all actually have active dev but well the code is so buggy all of them including AEON are constantly have tech problems. I understand that you probably got some coins around 30K and now want to unload the dump, but lying to people that AEON is in a good shape and will double the price is called a froud. until the code is fixed and wallet on bitrex is up again - this coin is a ticking bomb.

nothing really changed, Carter Thomas got lots of AEONs at 17-25K now he is trying to pump it through his youtube channel using MONERO as a reason for a growth to get rid of the coins. AEON still has major technical issues that hadn't been resolved for 3 months. the price can drop instantly back to 12-14K on bittrex, and 6-8K on hitbtc and stay there indefinitely. I already noticed massive dumps at 15-17K range.

You definitely should! the price is all time low. and the coin has potential to triple its price during the coming couple of months. if you have funds to spare then buy, transfer the coins to the private wallet, and wait until the price recovers. I guess the 10-12K range is ok to buy. it is very unlikely the price will go down much, though the up trend is starting to show its signs, so you can miss the big jump in price to like 18K

I contacted the bittrex support, they said that the coin looks promising and after sorting out some org matters it sure could be listed, though an initial payment is required, considering how rock solid NETKO is, they are ready to go forward. let's wait and see how it's turned out

BCN is a very volatile coin, why you didn't give notice that there is a problem receiving deposits!?

Among all the exchanges you have the worst support ever, tickets just stay unresponded. and if something happens people lose their money without any help.

be careful HITBTC wallet is offline, you can't receive deposits there. though there is no warning or anything saying about that.

you are not getting the whole picture.
at hitbtc one trader with more than 60K coins and unlimited BTC, controlling the trade.
So sometimes he pumps the price to 15-17K and it seems like there is an active trade going,
though, in reality, he is just selling to himself luring casual traders. then he drops the price by moving big 10K walls down.

And we also had a botnet dropping each day 3-5K coins for a market price.

Now the developer has a 450K coins donation found that we send him for doing his job, even at a current price it's like 112500$ - not bad for a side project.

But putting all this aside the call to lock the wallet was made by the developer, and now he is not responding,
nor we getting an ETA or some fix progress status.

And the bittrex made it clear that until they receive an official code fix from dev,
the wallet will remain suspended.

And with only one marketplace - small like hitbtc the coin cap is about 8-12K sat for a coin if you do the math right.

So as you said 2 months ok, but if some progress is made, and in our case, it seems there is none.

If you take responsibility over a large public project like smooth(the dev) did, that implies some amount of involvement,
feedback, and a little of respect to the community.

if you can't handle this or don't have a time just say a word and step away, pass the control to a more responsible person,
I think in MONERO community there are enough talented devs to who would volunteer to
fix the code instability for a donation found which if the price goes back will turn into 400k $.

LOL, it's been 8-10K on hitbtc for a while and will go to 6K today. on bitrex the price will hit 10K in less when a week! let's face the truth, the coin is dead, the dev abandoned it and just steals time with vague messages. if you want to exit with at least some money at all, now is a bit late, but still possible. in a month this coin would be 3-5K with no buyers at all! people who got it at 10-13K will fill like ones who bought it at 30K

And how is premine any different from that huge donation found the Dev holds to himself, - with bitrex gone, it could affect the market much more than 10% or even 200%.

Well, to be honest, it's time to consider that that code reorg will never happen.

the developer is just writing generic messages for more than a month, notice how he never mentioned an ETA, or if it will be fixed this year at all. 

If he knew it would take so long, wouldn't it be fair, to give people a warning to withdraw their coins, and then lock the wallet.

but he does some shady stuff behind our backs. right now, we shouldn't trust anything the dev says until we see some work on GitHub.

AEON is an open source, so all the work the dev did during the last month should be there, but there is nothing.

So don't be surprised and whiny. I gave you lots of warning more than a month ago to sell the coins when the price was still good.
