i wonder why you use mnemonic seed with 18 words which isn't common?
The readme was misleading: 9, 12, 15, 18 or 21 words are fine (everything that "bx mnemonic-to-seed" accepts as input).

To have a way of (re-)creating Bitcoin Core wallets out of a word list I wrote a bash script. https://github.com/tekbe/wallet-toolsHow it works:This can basically be done with two lines in the terminal: $ echo "my random and secret word list" | bx mnemonic-to-seed | bx hd-new | bx hd-to-ec | bx ec-to-wif L26zbMQRXyhUaaHcTQ13mzHWBauMPsG2qrmZQHx5QpYmMMFkhcWn $ bitcoin-cli sethdseed true "L26zbMQRXyhUaaHcTQ13mzHWBauMPsG2qrmZQHx5QpYmMMFkhcWn"
A random word list can also be created with Bitcoin Explorer: $ bx seed | bx mnemonic-new sadness arrow artefact expect office carry fatal tape radar ladder dirt hawk echo bone exile uphold topple local
The script provides some extra convenience. Hope it's useful.

Users who are not logged in see a big red warning sign here. A good move after the identity theft incident.
Maybe it's time for a new thread?

Is it known how many coins are stuck on Yobit?

I've been trying to get them to resolve this for almost 2 years now. Their support doesn't answer. I even tried to pay for it to be repaired and still got no reply. I've asked them to delist Kobo but they won't even do that.
All I can do is to make sure it is no longer advertised on the website.
Sorry but I don't see any solution on the horizon for the YoBit problem.

Guys, I think my account has been hacked.
Hope, you've got control over your account again. With the changes that will come maybe it's time to start a whole new ANN thread anyway?

This could be huge. The branding is strong.
Also while a retail loyalty scheme may sound a bit underwhelming at first, to me it seems like a perfect initial use case. It will be a nice vehicle to spread Kobocoin widely among people thus enabling mass adoption and new use cases (including regular payments) for the future. And the migration to the ethereum blockchain will allow everyone to come up with those new use cases and apps.

using one coin and then re-issuing another coin based on same is not a good idea
I don't agree. This way long term nxt hodlers don't have to spend btc to get tokens of the successor platform (in fact they don't even have to do anything and still participate in two airdrops). Of course, they can also choose to take profit now and sell tokens to newbies like me before the ico ends. Overall the devs seem to act responsible and rewarding towards long term investors.

Hush is planning on adding assets, so what exactly differentiates hush from Komodo?
Quote from radix today: Over in supernet land they have positioned komodo as the zcash fork that is focused on financial market stuff, and I think if we carve out a niche as the communications and smart contract one, we'll do fine.
...for example by integrating eWASM once it's ready. Please everyone, join the ongoing discussion about the future direction of HUSH on the slack channel http://slack.myhush.org/.

No way to encrypt the wallet so its bye bye hush
Until wallet encryption is built in, as a workaround, you can encrypt your wallet with another tool. That's what I'm doing. Of course you need to decrypt the wallet again before you can send HUSH from it.
