5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Expedia bitcoin payment problem on: February 15, 2015, 03:12:30 AM
Same ,  but now I'm having problems , can you test to see ?

You won't send coins it's the step before is the problem going from expedia to coinbase

Just wanna make sure it's not me that's the problem

6  Economy / Service Discussion / Expedia bitcoin payment problem on: February 15, 2015, 02:40:17 AM
Never had issues before apart from the last few days.

The payment option still there , but when it goes from expedia to coinbase it gives a error , and expedia are not responding .

Is anyone able to confirm or know if it's happening for them , and can shed more light into this matter ?

It's at the step before you send payment so anyone can test it
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT TRADE WITH ALABAMAFAN1 - someone changed my password! on: November 03, 2014, 07:57:38 AM
Careless on your end alabama...you should cover everyone who lost funds here.

I've never been hacked before and I figured the sites I used those passcodes on were trusted.  I am still waiting to hear from a mod or admin on help for this matter. I'm hoping we can figure out something for this like where the IPs came from so maybe I can see which admin of site or a player or something knows. I checked my email and it got hacked as well. Trying to get that sorted as well as a couple other non-BTC related accounts that also had passwords changed. Whoever did this - I hate you, why me?

To the user who mentioned TOR, I have used TOR once in the past week but I honestly doubt that was how they got it cause it was 3-5 days I did it, if they accessed it thru TOR then why not do it the first day they knew my passcode a couple days ago?

To answer Slipage, you won't get a chargeback as 1) i dont chargeback payments 2) you have my info as do everyone else i trade with so it wouldnt be in my best interest to do such a thing even if i was a person of that negative nature.

Will try to think of something to do here to help besides obviously try to chase down the hacker. I personally can't afford to payout everyone affected but will try to think of something. Hopefully no one else got affected by this hacker I hope.

What about a part refund . .25 is half I lost surely that's not asking much.

You most likely still have the first trade of .5 that went through less than 24hrs  ago.

Let's see how serious you are...

Don't waste time of mods and tracking ip

Focus of compensating the people that are out of money due to this .

It's only a small handful of people.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT TRADE WITH ALABAMAFAN1 - someone changed my password! on: November 03, 2014, 02:34:45 AM
I traded with him yesterday , quick and easy feedback seemed fine.

Today well I traded again before people knew the account was hacked .

Lost .5

Be nice to get some back...

Using same names and passwords on Btc sites is kinda irresponsible , especially if your buyng / selling

If he's pretending that it was hacked and try's to chargeback my first trade I know his personal details  but I believe he was careless and was hijacked

10  Economy / Speculation / Re: buy high, sell low - the proven strategy that guarantees negative returns on: December 07, 2013, 07:28:14 AM
early adopters that did not take profits when it was over 1k are greedy and will learn the hard way.

never buy into the hype

predicting highs and lows in this environment is pointless

newbies best to sit on the sidelines until things settle & don't believe half the dribble posted on here, most are pro bitcoin and are blinded by emotions that entails common sense decision making during rally's and sell offs

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Double Digits incoming! on: December 07, 2013, 07:20:48 AM
never buy into hype, and offcourse this was a bubble, don't believe most of the dribble on here, most people on here are pro bitcoin and emotions will get in the way of common sense when trading / giving predictions.

as for profit taking, well the early adopters if you didn't when it was over 1k, than your greedy and may come back to bite you.

As was for predicting highs and lows in this environment, well that's pointless.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / HashFaster Litecoin Network - 0% Fee - Stratum - 2 LTC block reward on: August 03, 2013, 04:09:36 AM
HashFaster Network's Litecoin pool, https://ltc.hashfaster.com is open to public registration and use.

The pool will always remain 0% Fee, unlike other pools that use 0% fee as a way to get users then switch. We welcome miners of all sizes, we currently support a static 32 share diff.

The current blockfinder reward is 2 LTC. This goes up from 2 LTC to 10 LTC if we can afford it.

* US/NY Stratum servers
* Automatic blockfinder reward payout (after 120 confirms)
* Integrated invitation system
* SSL access
* Sleek mobile friendly design
* Layer 3/7 DDoS protection
* Adding West coast US and EU stratum servers soon
* Adding enterprise firewall safe stratum ports soon
* Anonymous mining

HashFaster is a long time contributor to LTC, we actively test the latest litecoind for Litecoin Development team, we are a supernode for new releases, also routinely donating to the future development of Litecoin. We are running a 0% fee pool and fronting the costs of running the infrastructure because we believe in donations and people tend to donate when they have a good experience; hence we will do everything we can do give you a GREAT experience on our pool.

Why 0% Fee? People sometimes related 0 FEE pools to fly-by-night pools, but we are far from this. We run a pool, provide an experience and return users DO actually donate a percent of their payout to us. We are also miners, we mine on our pool, the success of our pool is a key component to our growing mining operation.

I hope to see some of you hashing on our pool, and being part of our growing community and success!
