661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 21, 2019, 10:38:52 AM
My biggest win was at Bitstarz Casino 3 or 4 years ago.
I deposited 0.2 BTC and won 11BTC.
The BTC price at this time was arround 450$.
I played in the following weeks and months at the same casino and lost all of my winnings. Roll Eyes

Wow!
11BTC! That's a lot of Bitcoin.
I doubt if it's possible to win this amount in recent gambling sites. I guess its because BTC price was low them.  One will be damn lucky if they are able to win 2BTC in one game at a stretch.
I would have given it a long break before playing again if I were you; they indirectly collected back the winnings  Grin
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto's reveal is a complete epic fail? on: August 20, 2019, 10:10:24 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is most popular 'unfamiliar' and anonymous celebrity of all time and anyone would do anything to be him and know who he is. Most reason you are seeing imposter trying to claim the glory.
For him being anonymous and leaving anyone guessing, sometime like this is expected to happen. And it will keep repeating itself.
When the real Satoshi emerge, people will just know it and  he don't have to prove himself much before he gain trust.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting feature at exchange on: August 19, 2019, 08:33:55 PM
I will never even play or use any exchange that has a gambling features, in it.
This is them calling me to spend all my funds in gambling.
An should exchange to stick to what they know best which is providing a better platform for traders. And not involving in 'Jack of all trades' yet becoming less reliable.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you Bother of the latest Cryptocurrency price drop? on: August 16, 2019, 11:24:09 PM
Don't think it will not bring any harm.
As an older member in this forum, I am sure you understand that this is not the first time that Bitcoin price dumps so why the panic.
It's not as if the price that dropped is huge or to the extreme. Bitcoin can't be growing at a stretch without no price reduction. The price fluctuation is what makes up this market. There is no call for alarm.
665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ways to succeed in trading 100% GUARANTEED on: August 16, 2019, 10:39:43 PM
Find a psychic.. Lol. This post is kind of funny.
Just want to ask, have you really tried the psychic thing?
Did it really work?
How much have you made so far through it? I'm guessing you might have made enough having one Grin
Moreover, you are right about the trading group. Anyone, joining it is making a huge mistake.
666  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: August 16, 2019, 09:23:17 PM
Wow. How can we get back to that price again so we can purchase  more bitcoins?  Grin lol. Way back 2014 and this year is 2019. That just means bitcoin is really improving, having a high value as of now at $10k, the more it proves that bitcoin is amazingly adopted.

Oh, and coinbase was established long time ago. Good to know that, too.

In the next five to eight years, many people will literally wish for this present price.
It might not even be up to eight years.
I did remember when it wasn't even up to 600+ many people over looked it. Then it reached 1k and people started paying attention.
History, will repeat itself next five years to come.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: August 16, 2019, 06:33:55 PM

These kind of conspiracy theories are always created after a champion is defeated, the truth is that everyone is worse over time, you will eventually lose, it happens to everyone, mike tyson, ali, etc. I don't see why you think Joshua will win this time, he got rekt last time and there is no reason to think he wont be rekt this time too.

We can't be too sure bro. He might take back the title of being the best.
The guy is a long time champion and champions like that  don't like being replaced.
On the other hand, Andy who couldn't believe he would defeat Joshua will still want to maintain the new title. Let's hope he don't have the doubt of winning before the game, that alone is enough to make him lose.
I like the two players though, just excited to see what the result will be.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: August 16, 2019, 01:16:19 PM
Joshua is going to get serious revenge in this rematch, I predict it’ll get stopped within 4 rounds. Joshua has a lot to prove & I think he’ll get his belts back.
I think so too. Joshua might win this match.
Though, many people where saying then that the former game was a made up. There where speculation then that Joshua permitted Ruiz to win as most of the best fighters where not interested to match with him. Thus allowing Andy to have the belts was to spice the game up, more reason he was paid higher than Andy.
I personally can't say how true this is, everyone is interested in seeing what the outcome of this coming game will be.
669  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think I accept on my bitcoin website? on: August 16, 2019, 09:16:55 AM
There is nothing wrong if you accept Bitcoin on your website, many online stores are doing it and you won't be the first. For many users, it far convenient than using credit cards.
But before you implement it, I will advice you to please read more about Bitcoin to know how it works, and know which payment system to use (Bitpay is good though), and few other things.
Here is an article that might help: https://www.google.com/amp/s/gadgetgang.com/how-to-set-up-and-accept-bitcoin-payments-on-your-website/%3famp
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 15, 2019, 10:10:23 PM
Couldn't agree more to what the user above me said.
Gambling is truly not for everyone, when you keep trying and you keep losing more money, then maybe it's a sign you should opt out or slow things down.
About the secret of gambling, truth is most gamblers, formulate their strategies. Some might not leak it as its their wining points while some may collect money from you, play and share the gain without saying anything. Its left for you to formulate your strategies after many trials or simply quit, if you can't take it.
671  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitcoin can be the future. on: August 15, 2019, 12:31:42 PM
You can also check out this website: https://angel.co/blockchains/investors
They have funded some blockchain related projects, hopefully someone there might be interested in yours.

Also, I don't want to sound negative but what you want to set up seems too impossible because everything about Bitcoin is digital. I advice you to resolve to finding a very tangible solution to the problem you are trying to solve, else no sincere investors will listen to you.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: August 15, 2019, 06:59:30 AM

Not all of them though.

There are a lot of people out there that is not even an investor but they know a lot of things they should do and not should do. To be honest, I don't even know what is the requirements or a classification of a person to achieve that kind of being an investor, can anyone explain that?

Totally agree with the bolded.
Whether one is spending or investing has to do with choice and does not require one to be a 'common man' or 'investor'.
If one choice to be poor in the years to come, its a simple choice by being lazy and spend recklessly and if they chose not to beg in the years to come, they work hard for it and learn to measure expenses. They don't go about terming themselves anything; it's all about how they live their lifestyle.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is your worst crypto casino experience? on: August 14, 2019, 09:45:08 PM

Lol, I thought I am the one who experienced a similar scenario like this. I also accidentally hit the button of max in dice platform before when I was in old Prime Dice site because it doesn't have a notification when you accidentally hit the max button. But good thing and I still lucky when I saw the result that I won. Holding my breath is just a minute because of that, but now I think they had a notification asking players if agree on max bet.

You lucky to have won.
Seriously, the frustration of such mistake can be annoying especially when you have planned on how to win your game.
For situations like that, it more like more dashing the site your money because the game wasn't called for. And good thing they have set up a notification, probably many users might have experienced the same thing too. Not every gambling site have that feature, I don't think that site I played on has it either.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: How would loans work in a Bitcoin economy on: August 14, 2019, 06:51:17 PM
Hello everyone,,
To my understanding people deposit money into banks and the banks use that money to give out loans. But with Bitcoin everyone is essentially their own bank, meaning there wouldn’t be anyone to give out traditional loans. My question is where would people go to get loans in a Bitcoin economy and how might those loans work?

It will only work best if two parties come together and decides to perform the transaction with the lender collecting a visible collateral from the borrower aside from the interest rate.
Where the problem may arise is if the  price of Bitcoin should increase, the lender might be losing as the value won't be same when borrowed. The only way for this to work is having a personal agreement regarding in the time of borrowing.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is your worst crypto casino experience? on: August 13, 2019, 10:03:02 PM

On topic, my worst experience is when I accidentally press up max bet button on dice and lost all of my entire balance.

Oh My! Lol  Grin This is funny because I have kind of had similar experience once and since then I usually check it twice or thrice before proceeding.
What mostly contributed  to mine with mine was my phone; it hang up and ended up rushing things when it released. Now, I am more careful when using my phone to play.
It was a complete waste of my fund, though the money wasn't much. Thankfully.
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price On Way To $250,000 By Q1 2023: Tim Draper on: August 13, 2019, 07:27:59 PM
Please let him be right Cry

Most popular Bitcoin expert are sometimes not even close to Bitcoin price prediction. So it's best one don't don't act or solely depend on their prediction always.
Surely Bitcoin price will increase in the coming years but its best to look at the price of 100k at that first quarter of the year.
Reason is that there is likely to be a huge price pump in the year 2020/2021, after that there could be a little reformation during the year 2023; IMO though.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 13, 2019, 06:03:16 PM
Since the value of Bitcoin has increased immensely, nobody is willingly to let go of it so easily orelse you are rendering a service.
While all what you listed won't give you quick Bitcoins, a few is possible to give you few. Even signature campaign should not be a way to earn Bitcoin, we are just lucky they are footing tiny bills or adding up to the Btc one is holding.
My opinion, learn an online skill, be perfect in it, and demand for payment in Bitcoin when you start receiving cilent. This is the closest way to have more Bitcoin.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 13, 2019, 03:06:08 PM
Definitely a lot of professional gamblers they treat  gambling as job and profession, remember during I am working in the pawnshop one of my customers pawn their gold if he lose in the casino and gross again if he got win again vice versa. Their lives cycle is to play gambling and he treat gambling as job and source source of income but he have an greed selfcontrol as prossional gambler.

His case is entirely different if he is really greed as you stated.
However, bare in mind that if he is truly good at what he does (gambling) it's okay to make a living from it. At least there will be more winnings than losing.
In a case where he is just taking chances and gambling on probability, then he is taking a big risk and complete waste of money.
679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction – $24,000 BTC/USD before Christmas 2019 on: August 12, 2019, 08:38:12 PM
The price of $24k 'before' December is more like being unrealistic.
The price may look too small and achievable but with the constant price fluctuations there will be alot of set backs.
We are not trying to compete with the year 2017 which hard a quick price pump. If we experience same thing like then, the market is likely to go into deep correction and price is likely to be lower than it did in 2018.
The highest we can see as this year closes is likely to be $15k.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 12, 2019, 07:40:11 AM
Well, for me, I didn't win immediately I started gambling (first timer effect I guess). After two to three more games, I won! The pay was 'okay' then, what came to my mind then was 'I can do this thing even better' then I started playing more.
There are time when I play and win more than losing, I start feeling like a perfectionist in it, telling it to my head. Losing again usually bring me back to reality. Lol
