1  Economy / Goods / Re: Come in and Trade Ammo or Talk about Guns! on: June 09, 2020, 11:02:26 AM
Anyone still here and willing to ship some gunpowder?
2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain's new payment option? Matrixport on: March 06, 2020, 06:30:31 AM
Matrixport is Bitmain's exchange.

Basically if you got money on the exchange, you can use it to buy Miners instantly

thats pretty much it. I went to check it out a while back, but wasn't really impressed
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: March 02, 2020, 04:10:07 AM
If anything, Bitmain will probably make some new machines right after the S19 seeing as it is probably using the same old chip (as tazers suggested) just tuned way down. After the halvening there is a high chance that we will finally see 25w/th
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: February 29, 2020, 04:55:26 AM
If the price is around 3k, it would make much more sense to use the S17s still no? You'd most likely break even and even turn a profit till the next machine comes

Hey guys,

Anyone else have problem with the power supplies for the a1047? I have 3 dead so far out of 21. Its not looking good for reliability.

Temp is 30C ambient.
6  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Asic.to The Moon Firmware for S17 - 85th/s and T17 - 65th/s T17 down to 45w/th on: December 14, 2019, 02:29:25 AM
When the autotune comes back can you consider 2% fee? I'll try them on a batch of T17s
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S17+ and T17+ on: October 10, 2019, 07:32:48 AM
It is more industrial and less home friendly.

Also pulling say 3000 watts it would be better on a 20 amp 220 volt circuit vs a 30 amp 220 volt circuit. Most likely I will not be getting it.
I will focus on s17 and s17 pro as the 2225 to 2300 watt draw they do is more attractive to me.

Funny, I have the same problem, I run a 32amp circuit but I pull max 4000W per circuit. with all the new machines running 3000-3300W I'm pretty much in a dilemma. If they made a machine with 2000W with the same efficiency, I'd be happy to put 2 on a circuit and call it a day.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain to release S17E 64TH on: September 25, 2019, 06:17:53 AM
I can say from experience that running 2 S17s on a 32amp circuit is a pretty bad ordeal.

If you really wanna go at it long term, 1 dedicated 16amp breaker for each machine is a far better choice. However, it might need to be retooled from whatever you are running before.

I used to run 4000W per each phase over a 24amp circuit. A headache to switch them all for sure.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain to release S17E 64TH on: September 17, 2019, 08:22:33 AM
This machine, if it weren't for the price, would be very well worth it, but with the price right now even with 2c electricity (which some of us have). It wouldn't even ROI in terms of Bitcoin till well after the halvening
10  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] S17,S17Pro and T17s on: August 14, 2019, 09:36:02 AM
Hey guys,

Its time for me to let go of some machines due to increasing pressure for smaller footprint (noise problems).

WTS:

1 S17-53TH = 4000$
2 S17-50TH Pro  = 4300$
6 T17-40TH = 3000$

Price doesn't include shipping yet. I am located in Thailand and machines will be shipped out of Bangkok.

Anyone willing to do local inspection and unfront sales is welcome to msg me.

All machines in working and new condition. Still in warranty.

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: June 18, 2019, 03:16:24 AM
Sent the log to Bitmain, They told me to send the whole thing back.......they won't tell me what exactly is wrong with the machine. They just said its defective.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: June 17, 2019, 10:26:50 AM
My power is always 230

The T17s don't let you choose the speed, its just on normal.

curiously, This came up when I was trying to send some screenshots back to Bitmain

Code:

13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: June 17, 2019, 08:35:26 AM
So..........one of my T17s just died today....about 2 weeks into operation. Apparently having an integrated PSU is NOT A GOOD IDEA!

The miner is fine, but the PSU blown a fuse or something. total of 10 miners, 1 already blew a PSU 2 weeks into operation.

Hope the S17s fare a bit better.
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: May 11, 2019, 10:01:56 AM
I wouldnt put my gear anywhere I couldnt go see it myself within a 2 min walking distance of my house.

Glad I'm not the only paranoid mofo here.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: May 10, 2019, 06:20:10 AM

Escape the system? Sure.......just pay the system first lol
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A10 series announced on: April 09, 2019, 10:19:49 AM
I might just get 12 of these guys instead of the S17, gonna wait and see for another month
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: April 09, 2019, 06:35:11 AM
Can Almost guarantee that they will be 1.5k by end of this month. I don't think they can make 500$ in a month......unless $BTC goes up....which means that its better to just hold BTC. Idk man, the math isn't adding up right now.
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: April 09, 2019, 06:08:08 AM
Hmm.........2k + for unit.......... who's willing to bite the bullets first?
19  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Rumor that Bitmain is going belly up! can't pay its chip builder! on: December 30, 2018, 03:06:22 PM
BitDeer is just luls at this point. Bitmain got hit real hard with that fallout with faketoshi.
20  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will btc difficulty go sideways for rest of the year? on: December 07, 2018, 03:19:31 AM
I agree on this. The diff and prices right now are heavily manipulated by someone (not pointing fingers here). But evidence does suggest that. Strap in boys, we're going in for  several months of turmoil. Hope you got your Fiat stocks ready!
