B3 should mine about 200 usd per day.  So ROI is pretty fast. Still waiting for the delivery though.. Bought 2 just to see how fast i will make roi... Smiley  ordered from myminerparts.com

LMFAOOOO no you didn't

SCAM

Warning :
Cost of unit on myminerparts $2575 , newbie poster says with Free shipping ...
Cost from Bitmain directly, with PSU and shipping to US, is $2678 ... how is cost less on this new website than through Bitmain directly?

Guy shilling my miner parts either works for them to hustle people, or likely got hustled

Well i paid with wire transfer inside eu ( sepa ). support answered all questions so i really can't complain. As for the shipping price you get a free shipping from 2.5k and they ship from china via dhl. They only save on shipping as the price for the miners are about the same. Anyway i hope you are wrong and i am right.. lol Cheesy I will update in a few days, also i will make a screenshot of the actuall profit per day with that b3.. it is intrested to see will it really mine for 200+usd per day..  Huh Tongue Grin Cool
Please fuck off. Nobody is falling for your scam.

I agree this Newb is trying to scam. Disgusting.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 17, 2018, 06:02:01 AM
I AM very confident with the $1900 one :

1. More than 3 months after monero change algo (just a little different than cryptonight), X3 might update its firmware just like Baikal's miner.
2. For Monero only, with total 4 batch of X3s and if each has 10000 units for total 40000 units means hashrate will rose by 8.8 ghs. With current around 1 ghs and X3s 8.8 ghs for total around 10 ghs, it still mining $20 a day or $600 a month (220khs of cryptonight in Nicehash $200 per day now). Usually Bitmain's Batch only 5-6k or, it will more profitable.
3. Even if it can not mine Monero, there are many coin that can be mine AND there are auto switch pool or rent service like Nicehash so its still profitable.
4. Competitor doesnt have anything big to compete, so network hashrate wont be that big. I would love to add Halong but their miner not be seen anywhere.
5. I always touch break even point at whatever Bitmain throw, even D3 that hated by everybody. All calculated by coin not USD

The point of mining is INVESTMENT for a long time. If you mine with S9 right now and sells the coin right away at 8-9k, then you miss the point and of course you will have big loss. Hold the coins and set sell order at your favorite exchanges with 5 times of its price right now OR atleast wait for next halving.

Im not siding with Bitmain BUT they almost counter every competitors with better hardware. I bet when new SHA256 miner with 2x efficiency, Bitmain will release 4-5 times better OR cheaper.

Good luck and I wish you the best on your positive outlook,but...........Bitmain is offloading the X3 miners they filed a certificate of conformity on 01/23/2018 which means they have been mining the X3 for months and when Monero announces POW change to V7 they all of the sudden want to sell ? Not only this ,but there are 4 manufacturers total announcing Cryptonight miners for sale now. This is worse than D3 scenario people can use rose colored sunglasses but reality is this situation is not looking good for any one who purchased any cryptonight ASIC.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 17, 2018, 05:54:47 AM
New disclaimer when buying these 3k and 1.9k models from bitmain...

3. One major cryptocurrency which is using CryptoNight hash function is about to change their PoW algothrim, and according to their public statement, it is purposely to brick ASIC mining rigs including X3. When you buying it, you are betting that they are wrong.

loooooooooool Grin

Not the worst bet ever anyway.  Will be interesting to see which network has more hashrate after Monero forks - the original chain, or the new fork.  Will the new fork really be Monero if it has little hashrate or, gasp, gets 51% attacked into can't-trust-confirmations oblivion?

Monero (among others) are planning to change the POW algo used to calculate each block, thus there can't be a 51% attack or whatever by ASICs running the obsolete POW algo. They won't find blocks and they won't earn coins, period.

This is not the same as a chain split situation where everyone is using the same algo but someone got out of sync.

POW algo change = useless ASIC

You miss the point, obviously. Some people like to say stupid and obvious things for the sake of talking I guess.

Monero's existing network isn't going anywhere, the existing chain is going to keep existing. Ofc if you keep mining you'll keep finding coins, the chain doesn't magically stop existing because some "leaders" decided to fork. If people try to call some new chain with no hashrate Monero, they are liers.  Monero mining has been backed by trojaned machines for years, and many of those machines will NOT be updated to the PoW change.  They'll keep mining the existing change.

Don't need ASICs to 51% attack the new chain. But let's consider if someone wanted to... the PR for the CryptonoteV7 algo change has been available for QUITE SOME TIME. Plenty of time to make an FPGA design or even tape out an ASIC if changes are minor (they are).

This is absolutely a chain split scenario. Absolutely no chance it's a clean split because so much of the network hashrate is trojaned machines or ASICs at this point.

This thread is full of noobs who can't see why these miners are an interested gamble.  PoW changes don't work, monero is about to prove that.

If what you are saying is true ? Then why did Bitmain put the X3 for sale after Baikal N caused Monero Devs to announce POW change to V7 ? Bitmain has had the X3 since January according to the filing for certificate of conformity which was filed 01/23/2018. If what you are alleging is true why is Bitmain,Baikal and 2 other Miner manufacturers all of the sudden start selling Miners all at the same time ? Baikal N has also been around for months ,but not for sale to general public. Monero announces POW change to V7 and now every Crypnonight  miner is on sale ?  The Bitmain D3 should be a lesson learned for everyone this situation is much worse almost guaranteeing you will lose specially with the high price tag.

A3 bitmain only ONE algo. SIA profits already crashing. HAHAHAHAHA. that WTF

Bitmain also just released more batches for the A3. The ROI for that miner will be in the toilet.

FACKING AWESOME !!!! Its about time Bitmain had real compition they cant bully out of business. Hopefully Samsung will do it right not like bitmain who flood oversell miners ruining investors ROI.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3 on: January 30, 2018, 12:56:16 AM
Im still hoping that bitmain secretly made this chip capable of hashing another algo so we arent all gerning vend over the tavle as bad as it seems right now.. Down from $300usd when my miner arrived last weds, to sub-100 now.. gee.. Nice tactic bitmain Sad
Many people said that about the D3, they are still waiting.

Really dont understand why people buy these miners without doing research and then when daily returns drops to shat they say ...................I really really hope we can use these miners on another algo ? But in reality it just becomes an expensive heater. Bitmain does not change they flood whatever network they build miners for never thinking of their customer base. A3 was built to destroy competition which is what has happened and miners are helping them do this. American companies affected by the A3 include Obelisk and now DCRASIC. DCRASIC actually says they are afraid of a Bitmain attack which would cost them millions.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BITMAIN strikes again :DCRASIC drops out of the ASIC race for now. on: January 30, 2018, 12:45:21 AM
DCRASIC project just announced they are not going to be selling their ASIC miners at this time due to Bitmains sudden attack on Obelisk SC1 and the Sia tech network. This is a major reason why Bitamin has such a monopoly on ASIC miners and we have no ASIC miner manufacturers in USA.

Bitmain and the Sia Network

January has been a busy month for the ASIC industry.  Bitmain announced the Antminer A3, their Blake2b ASIC for Sia, and Bitmain units are already being delivered months in advance of Obelisk’s planned delivery date for their SC1 preorders.

While it remains to be seen how many units Bitmain introduced to the ecosystem, it is an unfortunate situation for those who preordered the SC1;  Bitmain has a tendency to significantly oversell units, and the lightning fast delivery means that there will be no hope for a fast ROI before Bitmain units hit the network.  Difficulty adjustments will already be applied long  before SC1 units ship.

While Sia is, of course, an entirely separate network than Decred, this highlights the great risk involved with ASIC preorders even when the project can successfully deliver the unit.  Bitmain’s entry to Sia happened quickly and came without warning, and we believe Decred stands as an attractive next target given the developing ASIC market.  We stand by our decision to postpone public sales until we have a unit we feel awesome about, both from a technical and economical perspective, and one we can ship on a short timeline.

Our Status

We’ve had many people ask if we will be ready to ship soon, or if they should purchase a competing unit. We would love to have executed on our original plan for presales. But as we have articulated, we don’t believe that it is fair to the customer at this time. As you can imagine, creating an ASIC mining enterprise is challenging, and we are working other business avenues to bring our work to fruition.

Therefore we have no plans for offering our miner for sale at this time and hope to bring a product to you at some future point.  If you would like to pre-order an ASIC, despite the risks, to be one of the first ASIC miners on the Decred network you should consider a competing unit.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3 on: January 23, 2018, 09:27:33 PM
BAD NEWS for A3 owners. Obelisk tech (sia) is still strongly considering the fork that would make A3 a paper weight. read below.

Obelisk January Update
By now, many of you have heard that Bitmain announced the Antminer A3 last week and has started shipping units to customers. The A3 mines Siacoin at a hashrate of 815 GH/s and power usage of 1186 W. This means that, when the Obelisk SC1 ships, it will not be the first Siacoin ASIC miner to market.

The Obelisk SC1 is slated to outperform the A3, with 800 GH/s hashrate at only 500 W. These are minimum specs, and we expect the SC1 to perform even better than promised. This is good news: based on current A3 specs, the SC1 will be far more competitive.

We are currently on schedule with SC1 and DCR1 production, and will have test chips back in March. If all goes well, we could be shipping Batch 1 units in May, and Batch 2 units six weeks later. Our official ship dates are still June 30 for Batch 1 and August 31 for Batch 2.

Forking the Network
The Sia community is currently debating a soft-fork that would exclude all Bitmain A3 units from the Sia network, while leaving Obelisk SC1 units fully operational. We encourage you to contribute to this discussion, and ask that you disclose your status as an Obelisk customer when commenting. Discussion is taking place on Sia's Discord and Subreddit.

Wire Transfers
Due to large amounts of fraud on our accounts, our bank has asked us to disable wire transfers for the duration of Batch 2 sales. We will do our best to work with our banking partners to re-enable transfers, and add other cryptocurrency payment options to future batches. As of today, wire transfers have been disabled on all new orders.
