Voice agent, is that something in ur phone that translates a e-book for u? ahh I got it its a retarded robotic voice that tells u where to buy tickets and wheres the nearest shopping mall. Who da hell cares. Dont tell me this is the new trend or that its gonna flip the IOT industry. U cant ask blockchain to build a robot to tell u whether u need sticks to eat ur chowder.

What kind of devices do you use? You know you can always change this "retarded robotic voice" to a preferred accent with most.

Also, nobody said they were going to flip the IOT industry. Especially in America, a lot of people use Alexa and Siri to voice activate multiple tasks on a daily basis.

TRASTRA is definitely the move if you're within the EEA. They have the friendliest UI/UX than most and I have a Wirex, TenX, and Crypto.com card. Waiting for Asian expansion though!

And yes, there’s monthly card management fees, as any bank would charge.
OK thanks, but I would not say that any and every bank is charging monthly fees for debit cards:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5280997.0

There is a maintenance fee with most banks. This includes the services they provide + debit card services.

To be sure if I get them correctly, so instead of the whole continent like Europe or the whole country like USA, Asian market will be on selected countries based om the regulations? In your prediction, how will this affect the market preferences? Won't countries without the card "privileges" be hesitant to adopt your token as they're not that.... functional?

Doing business in the US is a very sporadic and timely process. Asia is easier to jump into and a lot of countries love the western paradigm their bringing to the table.

PLUS, it is easier to gain access to Asia when shipping cards globally. US is also a toughy unless you have a direct partnership with VISA or Mastercard, which very few have right now. It took Wirex only 6 YEARS to make this happen. For Elitium, it might be even sooner given how we've seen these fintech giants react to the markets.

I am not looking to invest in any defi coin right now but from most of the social media vibes and trends i come to know that Mantra dao, defipie and parsiq seem to be focus so you can check them out if you are interested but be careful and invest only after complete investigation and satisfaction.
These coins are the hottest one. Most of the projects being endorsed on youtube is really a prime time hit actually. Elliot review makes it clear how people are really into fomo. Have you seen the explanation about the parsiq? Its actually something new. I have my eyes on mantradao too it seems like the coin has a lot of potential to grow and even more when it tapped many exchange like binance.

Fomo will make a lot of people loss money if care is not taken,  it will be good to apply caution when following this trend, am also on the look out for mantradao it seem to be getting more attention,  don't want to get burnt in the process so am just going to observe every aspect of the project, we are in the Defi season no doubt.

Ever heard of GIMO? Glad I Missed Out  Grin

I've read just today on cointelegraph article about CEO of AAVE going to tokenize Tesla on its platform which is probably the next thing that will happen to some other companies which will likely going to be like stock market.
Do you mean this one? https://cointelegraph.com/news/aave-ceo-wants-to-tokenize-tesla-elon-musk-gives-silent-treatment
He wanted to tokenize the car (not the stock) as a collateral for lending (again).

Nevertheless, AAVE looks slick, better than its predecessor ETHLend.

Wasn't Polymath trying to do something similar? Not tokenizing Tesla specifically but tokenizing securities.
Yeah, this one is very popular back then with the ATH ~$1.5 now it's only ~$0.06 lmao
Not sure if they are still trying.

Lol I am not sure they are doing anything as important as they use to be. My profile still mentions them from the good 'ol days.

I met Stani back at Slush Finland '18. Really cool guy and has done an incredible job growing the business. I'd love to see him collateralize a Tesla- once he actually does it, I'm sure Elon would see it. People in crypto talk A LOT but Stani has walked further than most!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What DeFi projects are your radar this week? on: August 24, 2020, 05:50:17 PM
From what I read in the article, DeFi innovation is still dominated by lending platforms and stable/pegged coins. It's a good start; however, I want to see more about the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) as a profit-seeking corporation.

Imagine you create a company as DAO and issue shares over DeFi, do the voting as a shareholder, earn profits in stablecoins, can trade stocks freely without 3rd party market maker. Not sure if it's the definite future, but it is one of many possibilities. The thing is, it has to be approved by the regulation if we want everything to go smoothly.

Anyways, which project is currently doing these things?

I've read just today on cointelegraph article about CEO of AAVE going to tokenize Tesla on its platform which is probably the next thing that will happen to some other companies which will likely going to be like stock market. Synths will probably created more on the Defi platforms which we will be able to trade them too. Lending and stablecoin I guess is just the start of its application.

Wasn't Polymath trying to do something similar? Not tokenizing Tesla specifically but tokenizing securities.

Calvin is definitely making big moves with Mantra. I have a lot of friends talking about it and they are kicking ass for sure. I hope it's not just another pump with no crazy USP that others have claimed in the past.

Never heard of Defipie or Parsiq but will definitely take a look. Are you familiar with the ones labeled in the OP?

"DeFi stands for decentralized finance, which is an umbrella term for digital assets and financial smart contracts, protocols, and decentralized applications. It may rightfully be defined as the movement that promotes the use of decentralized networks and open source software to create multiple types of financial services.

According to Forbes, DeFi has become a global alternative to traditional finance in the blink of an eye and currently is reimagining the way we do finance.
"

Let's hop on the DeFi wave. One thing I love about this new trend is that it's like ICO's have grown up and have become more responsible. Let alone, the community hypes up other businesses and brings more attention here than BTC itself, which is great. BTC always comes up in conversation when we talk about new things like DeFi.

I have my own personal list of DeFi businesses I follow, like Rio and Mantra. However, there are some existing businesses incorporating the similar model like Compound and AAVE. It's a given these existing businesses jump into DeFi because a key rule in business is to align their models with current trends to attract users and investors to the project. It's really surprising to see a lot of businesses receive funding during a recession, but hey, it goes back to what I mentioned about The Great Reset. It's a new time to shine and we should ride this wave for as long as it lasts, as we did in 2017-2018.

What DeFi projects are you looking into?

Aside from media giants like CT and CD, I've been searching for the underdogs in the media space. Some have more unique articles than most media hubs these days, which is so important. Information is DIRE during these times and we must pick and choose who we follow and why when investing, researching, and collaborating.

Thank you everyone who participated!

I hope your dad will find greatness as he starts to study about bitcoin. Personally, if ever it comes, I'm not prepared for it but I've got to do something and all of us so that if it comes we have made ourselves prepared for it to start facing it.

And if that time comes, the role of crypto will be big mostly to those who are just sitting around, holding, and watching what will be the stand of the economy. It's a sign that we have our plans or alternative solutions to flee from that reset like I've said only if times permits.

LOL thank you... It's when the gen. pop (not prison system) starts to realize the power of it. I found crypto cards like Wirex and Elitium to be good for consumers and HNWI to really help move adoption. Gotta get my pops one of these.

14  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 20, 2020, 04:44:41 PM
will there even be any "great reset"?
i think not.

there has been multiple times where there was room for such reset and rebuilding of the economy and society free of corruption but the world didn't go that route. instead they stuck to the same corruption, bailed the worst of them out and let them continue scamming people and people don't seem to mind or even remember all this.

so no, there won't be any great reset for bitcoin to play any role in it. and bitcoin will remain the exit option that only the enlighten will take.
You serious? That is exactly what's happening. Check out the second citation in the article. It's focused on a big capitalist movement but this is the time where people who can find opportunity in this can flourish. Those people are in CRYPTO!!!
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 20, 2020, 04:21:57 PM
What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’

The role of calm people down. People will not trust anyone anymore since all money they ill lend to others will be lost. They will need something to trust. And best thing to trust is math.
Yes, trust in stats and numbers but also find the value in people providing insightful information to your benefit. A huge value proposition people need nowadays is a reliable source of information versus a new economic system. Mass media is congesting the transparency of what's happening and it's becoming far too saturated with BS articles. As we see many "WHY ISN'T THIS BEING COVERED" lasting 20 mins on social media, it goes back to the drawing board.

I think opinion pieces from thought leaders will push for people to engage in further discussions as you can share your thoughts and provide feedback to those seeking it. As you said, trust in math, but also trust in certain people that are providing transparency, as the blockchain does Wink
16  Economy / Economics / What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 20, 2020, 06:55:41 AM
"The global economic transformation now faces the main question: What to choose — centralization or decentralization?" What is 'The Great Reset' you might ask?

This topic can be very sensitive, but it's something that needs to be thrown at your face sometimes. We are still and will continue to be in an economic recession for god knows how long. Will crypto be the solution? Maybe for part of it...

Raoul Milhado produced a hell of an article that outlines what the world can look like in the coming months. He takes note of the WEF (World Economic Forum) making an impartial statement about a need for urgency for "global stakeholders" aka one-percenters to manage the outcomes of what is called "The Great Lockdown" <-- (SERIOUSLY READ THIS) His article can be found here: https://cointelegraph.com/news/what-role-will-crypto-play-during-the-great-reset

This 'lockdown' we have entered could be known as a cover to remake the world. The cost COVID-19 pandemic has surpassed every single epidemic/pandemic the world has ever seen. We've seen industries shift 90 degrees and take a bullet to the head but we have also seen industries flourish from the ground up, resulting in a new wave of entrepreneurs and people finally looking out for themselves. Don't forget to mention the current curriculum is dying as they aren't teaching what is hot like "How to Tik-Tok" or "OnlyFans 101." Even though it may be frowned upon, we're all adults and need to be faced with the truth behind reality whether it sucks or not.

Either way, it's nice to see crypto have a resurgence in the past months as an alternative to traditional finance and business. My dad, a blue-collar worker that will rely on his retirement is FINALLY reaching back out to explore investment opportunities in Bitcoin...

What are you hoping to get out of this 'Great Reset?' Are you adapting? Because at this point, whether the industry, it is evolving to something similar to The Hunger Games or even the survival of the fittest.

Don't forget to smash that poll button with your vote because it's important to me and it's provocative; it gets the people going!!!
17  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: July 30, 2020, 04:05:15 PM
Thank you guys for voting! 18 votes aren't much but it definitely beat my last poll by almost double!

Seems very few of you only found a limited amount of opportunities. I hope you're the ones who took them and did a full send! This is the time to experiment with new ideas and possibilities
18  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: July 30, 2020, 04:04:27 PM
This pandemic is give opportunity to some that always on digital and online jobs, but i think in new normal we can used it always . As we avoiding covid digital/online will be trend as new normal so i think big advantage that knows about crypto, about opportunities its always there in crypto we know that crypto are many ways to use.

But not all people do have an access to internet and do not have any device to use. How can they explore cryptocurrency with that situation and all they are experience is struggle with their personal necessities. They can't even have food in their plate, people who can only benefit for this opportunity towards cryptocurrency are those people who are in a middle class. We should also consider other people's situation during this Covid-19 pandemic. But this pandemic is really a great opportunity for those people who can only afford to invest in bitcoin and wait for its price to increase while people are not allowed to go outside.

This is true, but it is in very urban environments. There have been people who save up for a few months to get that computer or they simply go to the public library to use their resources. If you know how to properly tap into your network and resources, the options are endless.

One thing a lot of people need in these areas is guidance. This is essential for those looking for quality opportunities.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: July 23, 2020, 05:21:17 AM
Unfortunately, I haven't found even a single sign of opportunity opening created by crypto amidst the pandemic. And you know what, the opposite happened actually. Many crypto related scams are sprouting here in our country. The scammers are taking advantage of fhe current situation where most of people are staying at their homes and only depending on online jobs/investments to keep their living. *sigh Like Forsage, this one scammed many people here. Stay away from it.

Pick up the phone and start dialing!!!
Everyone needs to follow rules in a place like Thailand. They have dominated COVID-19 and there hasn't been much scrutiny within the country aside from people's visa situations.

Dude, you should merge it into one post. Just a friendly advice Wink.

I'm still learning how to organize these messages, as you do lol. If we ever meet, I am buying drinks for feedback Wink

It's nuts how often people are still getting scammed, but also not surprising as we're inside a recession and a lot of people haven't found "their" opportunity yet.

Where are you based exactly? Is Forsage the only notable in your area or are there other ones?

EDIT- FACT: I CANNOT ORGANIZE THESE MESSAGES PROPERLY
20  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: July 23, 2020, 02:56:51 AM
The pandemic will end soon, no matter if that takes a long time. We will see an increase in the opportunities through the digital world or offline world because people need jobs to make money, and they need to survive in the middle of this pandemic. People who don't creative in searching for the opportunity will get in the trap of surviving because they can not see the chance to get a new job to make money.

If the number of infections still increases, I think we will see another lockdown in many countries because the government will think about their people. They don't want to see the increase, and they will work hard to prevent the new infection. The crypto itself will offer that opportunity, but that is only for people who want to try to work with crypto.
ehhhhhhhhh I wouldn't be so sure. America is hitting record-breaking levels with new cases while some Asian countries are very minimal. The reason behind that is because, with even a handful of cases, they have 0 problems locking down the country all over again it seems.

Of course, staying optimistic, I think the article highlights what a lot of us are thinking right now and are actively looking for new opportunities. Thank god for DeFi and living in a technologically advanced era
I think that is the government's job on how they can warn their people about the Covid-19. Maybe they should learn from the other country which can reduce the infection people, but that depend on that government of willing to learn from other country or not. If the infection number still increases, maybe that government needs to lock down the country once again and apply the protocols.

Without optimism, people can not survive because they don't have willing to do something to solve the problem. We have the same problem, and it's already not ended yet, but we have a bright future, so we need to survive.

Everyone needs to follow rules in a place like Thailand. They have dominated COVID-19 and there hasn't been much scrutiny within the country aside from people's visa situations.
