1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💠 DIW 💠 [ANN] [ICO] 💠 DIWtoken.com 💠 Decentralize Security on: January 09, 2019, 07:33:52 AM
The "team" just banned me on the telegram chat after i asked about the project development as the roadmap say to release the vault before 2019......

This crap is getting ridicolous and pathetic day after day, they just collected 1200 ETH in the ICO promising to work anyway AND TO DO NOT REFUND US INVESTORS even to the low funding ( 1 Million Usd ) but then they stopped do any kind of progress and screwed off us investors with 0 volume and -95% to the ico price.........

I'm in their telegram group and saw what was happening the last few days. There was a member who kept making fun of the team and saying that the SEC will be after them.

These are questionable comments from questionable newbie members with a handful of total posts! If you followed the team from the beginning or if you knew anything about their ICO, you would know that the SEC has no jurisdiction over them. Have you asked yourself why senior members choose to remain silent? It's a period during which we are all waiting to get through the bear market and then we'll be able to tell who's doing actual work and who's not.

Making fun? I've jut said the truth about this crap project, after Ico they just stopped doing anything and started to ban everyone asks for project update that is clearly no developed at all......

Exactly my feelings and they dont provide any annoucements or updates banning is easy but curse will follow them DIW. SEC and other authorities will be highlighted about this scam project if they dont deliver or roadmap.

Newbie account with 29 activity - legit.

Still following DIW, won't give up. It's winter time in the coin market and things are low right now. We all need to wait it out.
Sometimes we can't get good news. In fact, I think most altcoins may never be able to return to the moon. They are actually dead. Although there are still trading volumes, I don't believe them because altcoins Let me lose a lot of money.

I like the point you bring out, and it is in fact very true that Crypto hasn't got the hype it had this time last year. It will take a lot of work to get back to where things were, but as regards DIW we need to be patient as long as it takes. I believe the team are still working on development, just coz they have not replied to any messages on Telegram does not mean much. Frankly speaking, they sent a message a couple weeks back telling us what they're up to but all they've been getting is negative feedback and harassment. I think they are very tolerant with some members of the chat room and they will prove them all wrong one day.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you look at ICO ratings from the rating of the ICO website when you invest? on: May 29, 2018, 12:35:59 PM
Yes, but I only look at them. I pay more attention to my own research.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: May 29, 2018, 12:33:22 PM
Its definitely a plus factor if the product is ready but I would not rule out a good ICO just because it does not have a product yet.
If the product, whitepaper and team are good, and if the roadmap is being followed, I see no reason to exclude an ICO simply because it does not have a final product yet. An example of such a case is DIW Token who did not start off with a product but have succeeded in realeasing the alpha version of their product 2 days before the end of the ICO
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which factor is the most important for you when you evaluate an ICO? on: May 29, 2018, 12:26:50 PM
If I have to choose only 1 factor then that would be the product itself. The second most important is the team.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO on: May 29, 2018, 12:24:37 PM
I recommend that you diversify and invest in more than one ICO. This mainly safeguards you from losing all your money in case that 1 ICO you have chosen does not go well.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: May 17, 2018, 07:45:00 AM
A good project that is already in its ICO is DIW Token -Decentralised security. They will have an ecosystem where people can securely store their private date ans selectively share them. They will also offer payments gateways and escrow services.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Amazon going into crypto raise the value of ETH? on: May 17, 2018, 07:27:15 AM
When huge names like Amazon get linked to blockchain and crypto, it will help spread the word about them and make them more accessible to the general public. Hopefully, this will go well and we will also be able to buy items on Amazon using crypto
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre Sale vs Public Sale on: May 17, 2018, 07:20:06 AM
There is more risk associated to the pre-sale because you do not know if the soft cap will be reached. Also often pre-sales have a minimum contribution which not everyone can afford to make.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: May 17, 2018, 07:10:46 AM
I believe the price of Bitcoin will rise again, so I am holding mine till that time comes.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROP HUNTERS! on: May 17, 2018, 07:01:41 AM
I think the most important point is the early selling of tokens. This can be done by anyone who has tokens not just people from the airdrop and an early dump can decrease the value of the coin
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ? on: May 16, 2018, 01:51:39 PM
It depends on what you want to do. With airdrops you get small reward but it doesnt take up time.
With Bounty you get larger rewards but it takes time to complete the task.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many new ICO, how to check if it's scam? on: May 16, 2018, 10:00:29 AM
You shouldn't only check for scams but also avoid project that are not likely to succeed. Fortunately the identification process is the same.
Read the whitepaper, understand how the product will work, what solutions it will bring and who benefits from this. Look at the team members and their expertise. Make sure their LinkedIn profiles are real and if they are participating conferences its a good sign that they are legit because they allow people to see them and it costs money to participate in a conference. Check their social media and importantly how responsive they are.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: May 16, 2018, 09:54:32 AM
Of course its not late. There will always be potential to buy. Welcome!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really worth it? on: May 16, 2018, 09:44:01 AM
I wouldn't shut off such an ICO immediately. Perhaps within the 10 million they want to raise, they have included a budget for hiring more staff to help them develop and run the project or even outsourcing part of the project. I think a legit ICO, even if it starts with 5-10 employees would update their community as they grow in partners and add more people to their staff.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: May 16, 2018, 09:31:16 AM
Agreed! I myself did a lot of research before joining to make sure I understand as much as possible and to increase my chances of making profit. The saying that you should only invest what you can afford to lose is so true. Maybe that means less profit but at least you keep a roof over your head
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 11, 2018, 09:28:36 AM
I wait for a higher price. If I see that price isnt coming and the team is not following their roadmap, I sell.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is ico secure ? on: May 11, 2018, 09:20:08 AM
I don't think it will ever be 100% safe to invest in ICOs. Even if in the future there is a way to eliminate scams, there will still be good and bad projects. Bad projects means that people will lose their money thus it will not be secure.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICOs on: May 11, 2018, 09:00:00 AM
What you are saying about the market not being able to support so many ICOs may be true but this is an open market. At the end, only the strong ones will remain.
20  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: May 11, 2018, 08:56:55 AM
The thing is, if ICO investment were safe, it would mean fewer profits and this would not be attractive for contributors. In addition to this, there are people who support ICOs because of the blockchain technology and the solutions they offer. There are some very good ICOs out there that offer very practical solutions
