142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 07, 2017, 02:01:40 AM
L3+ is on 28 nm node and bitmain has already got his hands on 16 nm node on which S9 is built so there is likely a chance for L5 in near future may be early next year but I think bitmain will give time to his customers for ROI and will launch L5 at least 15 to 18 months from the launch of L3+ that will be late 2018.

Are we sure about which node the L3+ is on? I also assumed 28nm, but I realized that I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.
Yes L3+ is on 28 nm node

145  Economy / Services / Re: Participation in (BTC + ?) MiningFarm as a project on: September 06, 2017, 04:50:37 AM
This is a good idea but hosting should be done by the same company and not by any another partner company I myself was thinking on the same the same project and hosting should be done in China or in Iceland I am all in for this project

Can verge be miner with L3+ and is it profitable?
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 05, 2017, 09:00:26 PM
That's what I am asking which are the best coins for HODL with higher liquidity I want to choose only 5 to 6 coins here is the list which i think are best if any other good coin I miss please let me know

1 Lite coin
2 verge
3 Digibyte
4 Game credit
5 Gulden
6 Linda  ( it's a risk I know but may be worth taking it )
If not Linda than Dnote

If bitconnect was on Hash to coin I will mine that and daily change it to BTC  I wonder why bitconnect is not on Hash to coin it's worth mining but change to BTC daily
Any comments will be  really appreciated

Is it viable to mine digibyte with l3+ now
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 05, 2017, 08:31:47 PM
Hello
Can anybody tell me what are the best coins to choose for auto switching on Hash to coin for scrypt algo for L3+ MINERS
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: September 04, 2017, 02:37:01 PM
Is it possible to just walkin and buy antminer d3 to the manufacturer so we will no longer wait for the shipment schedules? I will appreciate the responds. thank you

No it is not possible bitmain does not entertain walk in sales unless you want to buy 1000 miners  Grin

ROFL, can you imagine? "I'll take 1000 D3s please... anyone here speak English?" I'm fairly certain they would still laugh at you and tell you to watch twitter for updates about the next sale.
I said that bitmain does not entertain walk in customers unless you order 1000 miners if you want I can arrange your meeting as a walk in customer without any of my commission or compensation you just have to pay directly to bitmain at regular listed  price and your order will be accepted but keep in mind that the delivery schedule will be from the next available batch for sale
If you are thinking that you will pay to bitmain and get the miners delivers to you right away you are such a novice and indeed every one will laugh on you
I think this is in plain English and a newbie can also understand this
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What does this guy mean "the security of ASIC mining"? on: September 04, 2017, 07:13:01 AM
First you have to understand the network security or 51% attack
The more network hashrate it is secure more
So now if any one wants to attack your blockchain and destroy it or ruined it if that network is based on GPU only he just have to point his GPU towards your blockchain destroy it and go again mining some other coins and there are some pools powerful enough to destroy many altcoins
And he loses nothing except for a certain time of mining lost and his GPU will go mine other altcoins

Now come to ASIC miners
If a network is based on asic miners the attacker has to build or purchase that specific algorithm miner and that costs a lot and for every algorithm there is only 1 major coin with some minor coins and if he some how manages to get hold of 51% mining power of asics which is very hard to get and very capital intensive if he destroys that blockchain than his miners will also be of no use and he will loose a substantial amount also
So there is a huge monetary loss to him also which no one can afford
That's why blockchains with asic are more secure than those who are GPU based

Close but wrong.  I am bitmain tons of cheap gear and cheap power.

I destroy btc. And switch to bcc my mining gear is good.

Which is the point of the op.

My point is if bitmain did this and succeeded it killing btc then switched to bcc the risk is bcc might fail.
If you study the switching to bcc where it almost had more hash power then btc.  I would say ASIC mining is not as secure as it was before bcc was created.

How can one be close and wrong simultaneously
If you were bitmain and you can't destroy btc with 16 % hashrate and even you manage to get 51% hashrate you will not destroy btc because the faith of the world is in btc not in Bch and if btc gets killed Bch will go with it and your machines will be of no use and also the future sales of machines will be affected and your company will be closed
So that's why ASIC are the security of a BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A4+ Coming soon - Pre-order and possible group buy on: September 04, 2017, 03:37:54 AM
Roi based on speculation and over 1 year for a miner is never in my opinion and I was referring in dash terms for ROI and that's the best method of ROI

And yes you are right Bitmain ordering system is pathetic and very frustrating they should change or some what modify their sales method
For BW  L21 you can look for a group buy here I think there are talk of a group buy

Thanks for your reply
But I will never buy from inno due to various reasons such as
1) they advertise false hashrates for e.g. A4 to attract big preorders and now they are doing the same for A4+ they don't know the exact speed of their miner and yet they are asking for advance money on per megahash basis
2) they can't even update the BTC value on their website and anyone not paying attention to the conversion rates gets decieved
3) They can't even compete with the prices of miners see the price of A5 and D3 there is no comparison and I assure you that A5 and D3 will be delivered to the customers around the same time within couple of weeks so no head start for A5 customers and the ROI for A5 will be never
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A4+ Coming soon - Pre-order and possible group buy on: September 04, 2017, 02:30:33 AM
This shows that bitmain is an honest company and inno is a deceiving company and for that reason I really regard bitmain and feel sorry for innosilicon
This also shows that if innosilicon decieves the customs it can decieve anyone including us as customers

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with an Antminer L3? on: September 04, 2017, 02:01:51 AM
No there are no Asic miners for monero and you can mine monero only with gpu and the funny part is that the total network hashrate of monero is 214 megahash and you are putting more than double hash rate that's why you are seeing profit of $12 million which is totally wrong
And keep in mind that if you mine monero with gpu rigs the hash rate speed of your cards will be in sols or simple hashes per second.Google the speed for monero for different cards and than put those numbers in the calculator and than you will be able to get the profit accurately
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: September 03, 2017, 10:16:09 PM
Buy 40% bitcoin,20% Ethereum,10 % ripple,10% lite coin,10% digibyte,5% siacoin and 5% any other  coin with promising performance
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much alt coins, you should mine? on: September 03, 2017, 08:44:44 PM
First if all you have to decide which coins you want to mine
This depends on various factors
ZCASH and ETH are also altcoins in fact other than Bitcoin every other coin is altcoin
1) what hardware you have or have access to buy
2)what is your initial investment
3)you plan to have daily profits by selling daily or to hold the coins or  mix some sell some hold

If you want serious mining than go for Gpu mining or ASIC mining
If you want to start quickly GPU mining can be  done as it is easy to find hardware
For ASIC mining you have to wait for months to get the machines

So in my opinion start with gpu mining rigs and mine Ethereum and order some ASIC like L3+ or D3 from bitmain and wait for them
I tried again with wire transfer and they said : Price $1620/ea
The video said if ypu pre order a A4 ($1500 per web page) you eill get A4+.
You will get A4+ at price per megahash that could be around 2600$ to 2800$ depending upon the hash rate and you have to pay the difference and I think that  A4+ will not be delivered before 3 months could take 4 to5 months
I will not  pre-order a miner whose specs are not clearly mentioned, price is not confirmed and on top of all that the delivery date is not specified.
