4.2MH/s kawpow, so around $0.5 per day mining ravencoin /team red miner) Probably more possible, didn't play enough with that algo
Edit: 6.5 after few minutes tweaking, so $1 per day
On RX580? Why kawpow Algorithm because that rx580 graphic card can give you up to 3$ per day and even some times it goes over 3.5$ per day, stick with Ethereum, the mining profit is just way better than any other coins right now How can I stick with ethereum on rx560? Here where I live I can buy 6 or 7 used RX560 instead one RX580/8GB

So that's a question I have. I'm looking to move my RX570 off Win10 and into Linux. Is there a preferred flavour of linux? Can I go with Mint over Ubuntu?
Is there a walkthrough of preferred Linux settings (i haven't really found one. mostly Windows ones)
Why not try one of the specific mining Linux OS's such as HiveOS, Simplemining, etc. no need to struggle learning Linux, and these can run from USB sticks if you wish so no need to loose your Windows installation. I play around with Linux on and off. But would running from a USB stick work? I guess I'm thinking in terms of Windows here, but it seems you need to have enough virtual memory space or HD space to accommodate the DAG. Not a problem within one of these like HiveOS? Just put on USB, boot and load lolminer? Seems like dark magic you speak of. Linux is so much better at resource management its not even funny

I wonder if wallstreetbets crew just decided to jump on Sia, this coin is starting to surge like a space ship getting ready to launch I just hope not a pump and dump . Take the amount of Siacoin in the world (see www.coinmarketcap.com) at $0.008763 times the amount of the coin in existence, 46,971,862,992 SC, mined so far, that comes out to $411,614,435.40 ..now ask yourself the question. Are Sia-Tech and Sia-Coin worth that amount of $$$ with their decentralized network not fully up to snuff yet? I think not, it is gonna dump, just a matter of when. Brad I also think the same and i have cashed out my sia coins for btc which i have hold for few years. Recently the price spiked because of the hard fork news and i thought this is the best time to sell these useless coins. However i did lose a lot of bitcoins but still i gained good amount of USDT. The huge supply is a big hinderance for this coin to pump. They're meant to be burned through usage, so I think low network usage is bigger obstacle than big amount of coins

It seems you know more about mining equipments, see I have a 6pin to 8pin cable and it works like every other 8pin connectors from powers supply, I don't know why many are saying the connector can start fire or some thing, here is what I used and it works fine Some people like to live on the edge, others like to be comfortable. fact that graphic card COULD draw 150W through 6-pin connector doesn't mean it will...but why test it?

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBPolaris V3.5 - BIOS editor for AMD RX4XX and RX5XX cards
|

quick question... has amd/msi released new bios versions for the polaris series that are not recognized by SRBPolaris? Weirdest thing just happened.
I picked up a few rx 570 8gb refurbished by MSI from newegg. They look brand new with matching s/n boxes (not brown boxes) When opening the bios in SRBPolaris V3.5 (same for V3.3) it reports "Bios is UNKNOWN, card may get damaged after flashing" It shows the timings and everything but so far I can't get it to work with 1500> straps
I saved the stock bios with Atiflash_293 (maybe that is the culprit?)
With stock straps it hashes at 28.7mh/s in PhoenixMiner_5.3b (27-28 pool side) OC'd to cc:1170 and mc:2100 both on mV:850 No crashes and Phoenix reports a 68C temp with 108.4W power draw. Wattman reports correctly the OC settings applied by OverdriveNTool
If I copy 1500 straps > then flash the new bios, pixel patch and OverdriveNtool I can't find a setting that works. I tried every combination possible from cc 1100-1200 and mc from 1900-2100 and mV from 850-1000 As soon as Phoenix miner starts and applies the OC settings it either hangs or bsods.
Tried 3 different amd drivers. same outcome. currently on blockchain driver
I can provide the original bios if anyone can or wants to help investigate
I guess it's not terrible with stock hash. It's been about 2 years since I last did this so maybe I'm not up to date on things. I remember stock hashes on rx 570 used to be in the low 20s
Any help is greatly appreciated
Well, editor is not supported for a long time, and manufacturers maybe put some new tricks into BIOS

Of course I apologize for my French, but that we don't have some mega whore like Musk, Gates, Trump, etc. Who would write on Twitter, WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook, etc. - Burst ... Developers, suckers too! At the end of 2017. the developers of Einsteinium EMC2.0 turned out such a scam: On the main page they posted news with a countdown, which said that when the countdown ended, something mega cool would happen to their project. And on the picture of this news was drawn a bitten APPLE. You can use the charts and history of EMC2.0 for yourself. see how the coin took off then in value. Now look at the DOGE course and what Musk's posts lead to, etc. on Twitter. And I do not need blah blah blah that this is a criminal offense. Mask got away with it more than once. The developers of EMC2.0 got away with it too.
This one?
