Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBPolaris V3.5 - BIOS editor for AMD RX4XX and RX5XX cards

quick question... has amd/msi released new bios versions for the polaris series that are not recognized by SRBPolaris? Weirdest thing just happened.
I picked up a few rx 570 8gb refurbished by MSI from newegg. They look brand new with matching s/n boxes (not brown boxes) When opening the bios in SRBPolaris V3.5 (same for V3.3) it reports "Bios is UNKNOWN, card may get damaged after flashing" It shows the timings and everything but so far I can't get it to work with 1500> straps
I saved the stock bios with Atiflash_293 (maybe that is the culprit?)
With stock straps it hashes at 28.7mh/s in PhoenixMiner_5.3b (27-28 pool side) OC'd to cc:1170 and mc:2100 both on mV:850 No crashes and Phoenix reports a 68C temp with 108.4W power draw. Wattman reports correctly the OC settings applied by OverdriveNTool
If I copy 1500 straps > then flash the new bios, pixel patch and OverdriveNtool I can't find a setting that works. I tried every combination possible from cc 1100-1200 and mc from 1900-2100 and mV from 850-1000 As soon as Phoenix miner starts and applies the OC settings it either hangs or bsods.
Tried 3 different amd drivers. same outcome. currently on blockchain driver
I can provide the original bios if anyone can or wants to help investigate
I guess it's not terrible with stock hash. It's been about 2 years since I last did this so maybe I'm not up to date on things. I remember stock hashes on rx 570 used to be in the low 20s
Any help is greatly appreciated
Well, editor is not supported for a long time, and manufacturers maybe put some new tricks into BIOS

Of course I apologize for my French, but that we don't have some mega whore like Musk, Gates, Trump, etc. Who would write on Twitter, WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook, etc. - Burst ... Developers, suckers too! At the end of 2017. the developers of Einsteinium EMC2.0 turned out such a scam: On the main page they posted news with a countdown, which said that when the countdown ended, something mega cool would happen to their project. And on the picture of this news was drawn a bitten APPLE. You can use the charts and history of EMC2.0 for yourself. see how the coin took off then in value. Now look at the DOGE course and what Musk's posts lead to, etc. on Twitter. And I do not need blah blah blah that this is a criminal offense. Mask got away with it more than once. The developers of EMC2.0 got away with it too.
This one?

Well .. it did drop to $29,500 a few hours ago so sub $30,000 is definitely possible and people shouldn't discount drops even further such as sub $20,000 that this threads title suggests.
People will see an opportunity elsewhere and bail out. It happens, just be prepared for the drop.
It will be OK, another 2 billion Tether printed to sustain this bull run

The institutional investors who drove this rally don't panic sell. It too years for them to decide to buy. It will take years for them to sell.
Shorting is the easiest way to profit for big institutional investors. Panic sell comes after, by small fish starting to panic sell, as you pointed out

if OP's arguments had any reality to it then price should have never dropped in first place and the bear market that he claimed "will never happen" would have never happened. but we know now that it did happen and Tether never had any effects on bitcoin price.
It didn't happen because at that period USDT was used to get USD, not BTC, thats the whole point

Losing control of dollars held in a bank account is a matter of third party trust gone bad. That's very different than intentionally printing unbacked tokens.
You believe 16 billion USDT printed in 2020 is backed by fiat? They had trouble to back it 1:1 when market cap was 700m, but now suddenly found 20 billion somewhere?

100k+ soon if Bitfinex continues to print tether at current rate, 3k if SEC goes after Bitfinex
It would be silly to think that bitcoin has increased only because there are more USDT printed, that is not the case at all. You think grayscale bought half a million bitcoins using USDT? Do you think microstrategy did? Reuffer or whatever? Do you really think that almost all the bitcoins bought this year were from USDT? Obviously it wasn't, they can print as much as they want but as long as there is no way to know which one was used for bitcoin buying and how much wasn't, there is no way you can make a claim like that. I can easily say that there are tons of USDT in the market going around hand to hand but it is one time deal and after that it becomes futile attempt to use that as increase, the first one is the only one, after that it is calculated in already, whereas getting billions of dollars worth of bitcoin and just keeping that in your cold storage makes it a lot more sustainable. https://www.tradingview.com/chart/USDT/fMiNyR7A-2020-Tether-Market-Cap-Correlation-to-BTC-Price-Action/
