1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: September 28, 2020, 07:01:32 AM
Obviously at the stage in crytocurrency people should not fall for such obvious scams. It was in the early stage where one has little or no knowledge about crytocurrency that people were scammed .Nowadays many people know about so many scams projects so it is hardly enough to cheat anymore unless Newcomers that have little knowledge about it.
Yes, there are a lot of frauds even in large ICOs. I remember the Envion scam project. I invested the money, but did not receive it back, although there was a lot of hype and the "project" itself raised more than $ 100 million. It seems like a year ago some kind of legal proceedings were initiated, where it was possible to return the money, but, as it turned out, this is for those who paid with bank cards. And people like me got nothing. It's all cheating and a lottery.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: September 28, 2020, 06:47:22 AM
It is precisely because of such news that people have a negative opinion about cryptocurrencies. Sometimes it seems that in the field of cryptocurrencies there are no honest people, everyone wants to somehow cheat or steal. A sad reputation, this slows down development and leads to bans in different states.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: September 28, 2020, 06:43:17 AM
I agree that due to the large number of bounty, you have to join even more channels in Telegram. This creates a lot of trash in your chat lists. It pisses me off. Very often, in these chats, the really necessary information cannot be found, only bots and fake accounts.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: September 24, 2020, 07:18:51 AM
Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.
Project name --  Xfinance

Is it belongs to Which one ?[ A or B  Huh?]

I think there are really several active telegram groups which are very successful but I think still many mostly of the telegram group tends to be scam or fake projects because me, myself have joined and experience several scammed and faked telegram group and I just waste my time participating on it.
Some particularly cunning scammers use channels with logos and names of successful projects, lure people there, promising, for example, an airdrop, and then simply sell the channel for a lot of money. All these are scams and there are a lot of them. Indeed, I am very sorry for the wasted time. Telegram has already become a trash heap.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 24, 2020, 07:16:11 AM
It is highly unlikely for scams like these will go away. Especially now that there are more hunters out there that are willing to take up job because of the pandemic. Overall i just feel bad for hunters that spent their time on these scams.
It's really frustrating that after many months of supporting the project it ended up with nothing. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks before joining in the campaign to make sure that the project are legitimate. We just need to accept the fact that in crypto world we need to be wise and analyze it properly. There's a lot ot scammers and we must do our job to make research about the project. Its good to know that the action like this take place to help eliminate the bounty scam.

Gladly it's now starting to be swept away mate, and if scammers tried to have an attempt they'll easily be determined through validations, and feedbacks from social media. That's the very powerful tool for us to unmask those criminals here in anonymous world of crypto. We must have an effort to support our fellow members here, and don't let scammers destroy our built foundation in just one glance.
It's too late, I think, because the main trust of large banks and investors has already been undermined by the abundance of scams that fell on the ICO in 2017-2018. Now this is the only way, few have remained in the subject, and even then they all want to deceive each other. At this level, it is very difficult for a cryptocurrency to develop and be introduced into our daily life.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest AIRDROP in the history of cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2020, 07:12:26 AM
Only such large airdrops are very rare. It was a great success to get on them, in the next topic a man boasted that he received more than $ 2 million from him. Already tired of participating in hundreds of airdrop scams, these things are killing the cryptocurrency industry.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON price analysis!!! on: September 23, 2020, 07:12:38 AM
I wonder how the future TronLink airdrop will affect the price of the token. Attention and money have already been attracted to this project, everyone hopes to make a profit. But the cryptocurrency market is not predictable, most likely after the airdrop there will be a slight price drawdown.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UniDapp - scam project! on: September 23, 2020, 07:09:58 AM
Now there will be a wave of hype with Defi against the backdrop of the success of UniSwap in order to deceive people. You shouldn't even look at new products in this area, since such "startups" do not have any product. It is because of such scammers that trust in cryptocurrencies and projects is crumbling.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar cost average on Altcoins on: September 23, 2020, 07:07:22 AM
It is better not for an ordinary person to trade on stock exchanges without knowledge of analytics. In the long term, such trading will lead to losses and loss of money. Most altcoins are already unlikely to rise in price, so you should not invest in short-term coins that you are not sure about. There is little chance that they will make a profit.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap discussion on: September 22, 2020, 05:11:03 AM
It's a shame that I missed this airdrop, but people say that TronLink can try to repeat the same success as UniSwap. Do you think anyone can repeat the same success?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 22, 2020, 05:08:14 AM
If you look at the lists of bounty participants, more than half of them are scammers because they offer stolen content. I had such that articles were stolen from me personally, so I had to communicate with managers in order to remove the scammers. Honestly, it's a pity that such a wonderful way of earning money was killed by human greed.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are crazy... on: September 22, 2020, 05:04:51 AM
Now the choice is between transaction speed and price. In any case, both options are now very unattractive, moving tokens for trading to wallets is very expensive, you will have to wait with shorts for now.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 21, 2020, 07:28:21 AM
Now the most important thing is not to waste this money and direct it to useful things. There have already been many cases when the lucky ones broke the jackpot and stupidly dumped everything, were left without money or harmed their health. Anyway, congratulations, this happens only once in a lifetime!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: September 21, 2020, 07:22:13 AM
Hey Guys,

Can someone explain what are these altcoins and what is the exact reason of so much growth in just 24 hours?
Are they scam or legit? Thanks.

Image:

Those are the fake projects which pump and dump using fake volume with high price at start, they will have  some initial own funding and they show as they sold coins bla bla bla and they start selling and buying themelf at high  price
and will manipulate the market then follow the sheeps with fomo shits , only 1-2% who gets in early might be lucky and rest they start selling and exit

This is a typical pump, during which scammers select a dead coin in advance, buy it, and then, through various sites and channels, report that at a certain time there will be a sharp jump in price, thanks to which it will be possible to earn. This usually ends up with the price going up, scammers selling their coins sharply, and the rest of them losing money.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: SETHER - Arbitrating Advertising on: September 21, 2020, 07:17:23 AM
At that time, I also decided to participate in the ICO of this project only because McAfee was on it. It turned out that this was all just a scam on which I lost my money. So now believe in such popular personalities. By the way, John promised to eat something if his Bitcoin price prediction does not come true.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 23, 2020, 05:50:30 AM
I think that the statement that bounty hunters are killing the project is not true. These guys publish in various news channels and features of the project, thanks to which more and more people will learn about it.

Since the topic of cryptocurrency is quite specific, every second man in it is a potential investor, so this is work directly with the target audience. It makes sense that every work should be paid, which is why the bounty hunters receive tokens.
Another thing is how the project's economy is built. Usually, the bounty pool is 1-2% of the number of tokens, which cannot significantly affect the cryptocurrency price rate. If the project is not a scam, then the team will provide for a possible drain of tokens by buying out its share on the exchange and restoring the rate.

I definitely believe that without the bounty there would not have been such a surge of interest in blockchain startups.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: July 23, 2020, 05:42:33 AM
Indeed, there will be no such excitement and excellent profit in the bounty, as it was in 2017. The meteoric rise of startups dwindled as there were a lot of scammers. After a while, the cryptocurrency market has cooled slightly from the previous heat, I hope that soon we will see the revival of this industry. The recent successes in several startups are encouraging.

I remember that in 2017, participants in a subscription campaign could earn tens of thousands of dollars in a couple of months. Now, such generosity is not observed, although I want to believe in a repetition of that scenario.
