Hmmm, why referral rewards down then? Any irc updates?
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 02, 2015, 12:51:23 AM
I think it's safe to say ScryptCC is on life support. I HAVE NEVER seen khs prices this low.

Any clues on why are khs so low?

Yes, it is because the rewards are quite low right now, if the rewards go up, the price of khs will follow.

But rewards have been low for quite some time, and there was a slight increase about 5 days ago.

Since then, the price has been dropping...

Not bad though, as I keep buying. Just wanted to know if there were another reason (some post by admin or the like)

People loose confidence, then admin bumps up rewards and the price goes up again. Feel free to re-quote me in a few days! If this was a scam, admin has had multiple opportunities to cut and run. But no, he's still there, processing withdrawals, working on new servers, resolving tickets etc etc.

I still make my every second day withdrawals and still reinvest some. I sleep well at night.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 28, 2015, 12:40:51 PM
I am not going to waste my time looking through blockchain records to find out if the amount of withdraws exceeded the amount of deposits.

That's a 5 Second Job.

Total Recieved2,044.34683467 BTC
Total Send1,500.02645138 BTC

Problem is, it is impossible to say where the Recieved Coins come from.
The majority is from the members, of course. But if he is mining, some must
be from him. Happy tracking.

Thanks, didn't realise it was so easy! Personally, I think they are mining. Sure, 850ghash is prolly bullshit but maybe they got half that.

All the ponzi talk is based on 850. So, what if they're lying and only have half that, still a (mainly) legit mining operation innit? Hey? I've said it before and I'll say it again, either stick some cash in there or shut the fuk up. Really, it's pretty simple. No proof it's a scam, no hard proof it's real.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 28, 2015, 11:00:47 AM
. . . if they're not mining like all you ponzi freaks are claiming mathematically proving

There, FITFY.

Let me remind all you scryptards that it was only a short number of months ago that 'Admin' came back from the dead (serious hospitalisation followed by world tour buying secret Scrypt ASICs from secret Scrypt ASIC manufacturers(!)).

Scrypt.cc had *not* been operational at the levels seen after Lazarus, I mean 'Admin' came back from the dead and resurrected his Ponzi scheme. Prior to that most of the first 12 months of this operation exist in the the first 36 pages of this thread until, miraculously:

Thankfully I've been out of the hospital and doing great, I did not make my "comeback" sooner as I have been very busy travelling to other countries and buying hardware directly from the manafactures and overhauling our whole mining infra-structure.
Hope this answers some of your questions,
Take care.

To answer your question, ilic, take a look at the amount of coin mixing services being promoted by scryptards. First rule of cryptocurrency Ponzi, make sure everybody can see the 'massive' amounts of money some people appear to be moving into and out of the 'investment', you know, so they can 'rest assured' that it must be not only totally legit if some 'whales' are shifting such profit out of it, but also hugely profitable as long as the smaller 'investor' gets in quick and re-invests, re-invests, re-invests.

[/quote]

You didnt address my points....

If Scrypt.cc is a ponzi, then for the ponzi to continue there needs to be more people depositing BTC than there are people withdrawing.  Correct?

What I am saying is that at any given time, there were approx 30-100BTC being pulled out daily.  So, in order for the 'ponzi' to continue, there would need to be the same or more being deposited every day?  You still with me here?

I find it highly doubtful that given the large amount of daily withdrawals, there were enough daily deposits to cover this.

I find it more likely, that scrypt.cc are in fact mining and although 850ghash has been proven to be not true, there is no reason why they could not be mining with say 100 or 200 or 300ghash correct?

Maybe, like thousands of businesses before them in both the real world and the world of crypto, they fudged the numbers a bit to sell more khashes that what they actually owned?

It wouldnt be the first time and it wont be the last time that someone tries to sell something they don't really have.

As I do not believe this is a ponzi, I am not going to waste my time looking through blockchain records to find out if the amount of withdraws exceeded the amount of deposits.

U get?
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 27, 2015, 11:22:20 AM
I had a thought about all these accusations of scrypt.cc being a ponzi - which for the record I do NOT believe it is.

So, lets rewind say 3 or 4 months ago, back when rewards were high and before the electricity thing.

The top 20 in rank, had anywhere between 5,000,000 and 30,000,000 khashes.  Lets just take an average of 10million for the Top 20 to make it easy.

Ballpark reward for 10,000,000 was around USD$500 per day or 2BTC per day approx.

Now, I'm quite confident that these Top 20 were NOT re-investing this as I did actually keep screenshots for a few days and watched it over the course of a couple of weeks.  I noticed their holdings increase slightly but not drastically.

This means that each of the Top 20 were pulling out an average of say 1.5BTC per day.  That's 30BTC per day.

So, all you ponzi screaming lunatics are telling me that there was daily fresh deposits of 30BTC per day to cover just the Top 20 withdraws?  Let alone the 10's or 100's of BTC withdrawn daily by the thousands of other investors?

So, how was scrypt.cc funding all these daily deposits, if they're not mining like all you ponzi freaks are claiming?

My theory is that they are actually mining, maybe the 850ghash was inflated so they could sell more khashes, who the hell knows but they gotta be earning BTC in some way otherwise they'd have shut up shop a year ago.

Anyway, if someone can be bothered to lookup all the blockchain transactions to see daily deposits vs daily withdraws i'd be interested to see.  Correct me if i'm wrong, but a ponzi is not sustainable if daily withdraws exceed daily deposits.

Chat box down again?
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 19, 2015, 04:41:43 AM
withdrawals are about 12 hours at the moment (last 3 have been about this time).

deposits are about 5 minutes....i haven't deposited since before the hacks and did one just now.

What on earth makes people believe those numbers on the screen are anything but numbers on their screen?

Funny you say that...you know all the money in our banks is all just numbers on a screen too.  The actual cash simply does not exist.  If everyone in the US went to the back tomorrow and asked for just 3% of their money, the banking system would crumble.

Thanks to "Bitcoin: The End Of Money As We Know It" for that tidbit of info, it's a newly released award winning doco that I watched today.  Very interesting - http://theendofmoneyasweknowit.com/ (best 0.02BTC i ever spent...except for the funds I've put into scrypt.cc of course!)

I guess the whole financial system is a scam too Cryptodevil, why aren't you out warning everyone to stick their money under their matress so the scamming Government doesn't take it?

False equivalence.

Firstly, the 'whole financial system' generally has to maintain strict compliance and auditing regulatory oversight. Whether we like the rules they are playing by is one thing, but as long as they are playing 'by the rules' of their industry in terms of management of theirs and their customers funds, then any protestation you might raise as to how the traditional financial system operates, requires that you challenge the industry to change the rules to better serve the public, something that decentralised cryptocurrency and blockchain technology will no doubt force them to do in the long term anyway.

Secondly, when I reference the fact that the numbers on the screen don't actually relate to anything tangible, I clearly mean in terms of there being a direct link to a blockchain whereby scrypt.cc couldn't forge the trade and transaction information.

But, then, you either knew that but chose to ignore it in order to make your fallacious false equivalence, or you don't know that, which makes you an ignoramus.

So which is it?

You're a tool.

Just watch the doco and stfu.

This will be not long from now, the 5 days was a little short following my calculation he needs almost 20 days to recover.

How do you know that?

can i ask what your calculations were?  Im interested too as to whats going on, if 5 days isnt long enough to recoup their losses it would explain why we have heard nothing for a week now.

Nothing wrong with calling cryptodevil a moron and idiot, i've said much worse in fact!  I refer to the part about his post being 'well written' and his 'eloquent discourse', i think attacking someone for the lack of ability to speak a foreign language is a little harsh.

So you have changed your mind about scrypt.cc now have you?

nope, I just don't give a shit anymore what you ponzitards have to say!
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 14, 2015, 09:48:54 AM

we don't want your help your proof has been provided

Who elected you head of the Magoogles? Are you entitled to speak for every single scrypt.cc user now?

Thought not.

He's the thing, stop posting complaints to us about our facts and we'll stop replying to you. We will, however, continue to raise awareness among the forum community where possible to reach those people who still might not be aware of these facts, you know, in order to ensure they can make a fully informed decision seeing as scrypt.cc doesn't want them to.

DEVIL YOU ARE MORON.... IDIOT

We always look forward to your polite and inciteful posts too. They are so well written, with interesting facts  and well thought out rebuttals. They are a joy to read, if only for the reason that I can show my son your eloquent discourse, so he knows what will happen if he does not pay attention at school.

A little bit harsh don't you think considering alexislovemelo14 is clearly not a native english speaker??

Attack people all you want for investing in scyrpt.cc however, that I have no problem with!

obviously admin/marcelo is still running things in the background otherwise the withdrawals wouldnt be working (i've made 2 withdrawals in the last week which have come through within 12 hours or so).  Also referral payments started up again over the last few days since admin posted last so they are doing something in the background.

I'm guessing new servers etc aren't doing what they're supposed to and although I do think its unfair we are paying for their hacked bitcoins, i'm sure admin isnt in a super duper hurry to get rewards back to 100% again coz that's a shitload of coin they are making.

An update would be nice about now though....hopefully full rewards will come back online very soon.

255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 11, 2015, 10:19:59 AM
khash price plumetting at the moment, down to 260sat.

not sure why people are dumping, i just bought another 20,000 or so at around 280 average.

once rewards get increased again which they will (just like always) the price will go back up to 500-1000 range again.

crazyness.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 11, 2015, 05:48:11 AM
hey i just noticed referral rewards are back again.  did that just start up in last 12 hours or so?
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 10, 2015, 11:53:39 PM
Rewards stay low.
Get your money out asap.

No, I'm okay.
Thanks for worrying about my investments though.  Wink

As a long time investor I am getting a bit annoyed at the lack of updates as to why rewards are still so low.

Still no referral payments either
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 07, 2015, 04:51:47 AM
get whatever is left and leave scrypt.cc
its not worth it anymore
I was able to sell my KHS but not from its original price but its better than nothing at all

oh ye of little faith.  If Marcelo has shown us anything over the past 18 months it's that he always comes back true to his word.

dump your khashes if you want.

so the email server still not working then to lock down btc withdraw address etc?
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 03, 2015, 10:35:19 AM
What's happened with referral payments? Has anybody received any yet?

there was an update from admin that the referral payments will begin again soon ie today or tomorrow.

80% cut on reward rate is only expected to last another 5-7 days before going back to normal.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 02, 2015, 01:40:30 AM
10,000 kash at 386 sat!

I figure I can't pull the btc out so might as well cash in on other peoples panic!!

I went on the same theory and bought 145k.. if im wrong so be it.. that .55btc i had lef tin the account wouldnt have got to me anyways..

Same. I don't think this is accidental. I think we're being held hostage.

lol.. nah, really?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnt_6a5jfYQ

lol cash in on other peoples panic.

Those khash's are so cheap that you guys should just deposit like 5 BTC and buy it all up. You can make ROI in like 60 days!

buy buy buy!

bye bye!

I'll pretend there's no sarcasm in your post....

Well deposits are not working and admin has clearly stated this several times not to make deposits.  If this was a Ponzi about to make a run for it, why on earth would they say NO DEPOSITS PLEASE!!

Tell me the sense in that?  Cryptodevil, it's not often I actually want your opinion on something but i'd love to hear your explanation about that, why did admin specifically tell people to stop depositing when it is just essentially free money for scrypt.cc?

As for the ROI in 60 days, yes thank you, I've already made my ROI in around 60 days as i've been with scrypt.cc for a while before the whole electricity contract issue when ROI was between 57-60 days.
