301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 15, 2015, 04:23:08 AM
so any update on the 350ghash being added?
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ROI - REWARDs - KHS Price on: May 14, 2015, 10:22:16 AM
Hi,

After the events, I want to say;

To recapture profitability which should be :

* KHS Price must be 375-400 ( currently 710-715)
* ROI 70-75 Days

if not in the short time I'd also, or awards does not rise up.

No one will stop here --> scrypt.cc

i dont think khash price will ever drop down that low and I dont think we'll ever see the 60 day ROI again.  At best I think we can hope for around 90 days once the other 350ghash come on line and the get better electricity rates.

i feel quite disappointed that my income has gone down by 66% however in saying that, even with 30% ROI, it's stil quite phenomenal....not too many places you can get that sort of return!
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 13, 2015, 10:02:14 PM
Yes the rewards are really low right now. I use to make $13 per day now I make $4.59.

Yeh it's a big drop, I was earning a lot more than that so I'm really hoping rewards go up a bit. I realise they will never be what they were. Obviously admin was getting near free electricity somehow and those days are over.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 13, 2015, 10:00:14 PM
So where's crypto devil and bloedhond now?

"Oh it's a scam, scrypt.cc is a ponzi blah blah blah. I'm a loser and think that everyone is a scammer and I'm too scared to put a few dollars into a legit cloud mining operation"

If you don't invest or don't want to, piss off from this thread pls.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 13, 2015, 01:10:51 PM
if they were gonna take the money and run they would have stopped withdrawals when the power went off...anyone would know that in a scenario like that there's gonne be a huge chunk of investors that freak out and withdraw as much as they possibly can.

Option 1: Stop withdrawals, he can get some of the payouts that were not moved out

Option 2: Claim that everything is working again and lure people for new money with the cheap KH price. -> would be my choice

Be honest: How many of you will now send some BTC in scrypt.cc's warm und fuzzy wallets to buy some cheap KH?

i think you may forget that they've been operating for almost 18 months now, they have made millions of dollars already.  If they cut and run when the power went off they would have made millions more.

You think this is all an elaborate hoax so the site owners can run off with 12 million instead of a measly 8 million???

get real.  Either invest or dont

edit - i'm just pulling some numbers of out my ass, the point is they could have made a fortune by taking all our money already rather than pissing around with a bullshit story to make an extra 20% or whatever.

Admin:
500GHS of the hash power you guys own are up and mining.
Admin:
Everything will normalize within the hour.

edit - fuk yeh!

Just saw admin on the troll box.

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 13, 2015, 11:51:35 AM
no but 825 ghash on the 11th was the lowest point in the last 30 days.  most of the other drops are somewhere around the 900ghash mark.

anyway, who gives a shit.  there's either 2 people, people that invested and think it's legit, and people that don't.  clearly you know my position and clearly, I dont give a shit about the other type of people.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 13, 2015, 11:38:00 AM
^^^ LOL, so the hash rate actually increased after he claimed their miners had been switched off? That is hilarious.

Quote
Anyone notices any drop in hashrate somewhere ? 500 Ghs + 350 Ghs is not easy to hide.

No but that isn't stopping some desperate folks from scrabbling around the place trying to claim that there's hundreds of altcoins where it could be 'hidden'.

Which simply isn't true. Firstly, they need to understand that not all altcoins are Proof-of-Work and, secondly, not all PoW altcoins are scrypt.

That is a massive amount of scrypt hashpower that apparently went offline and if they go on to claim it is back online at any point in the coming days there would be a noticeable degree of fluctuation in the hashrate for many scrypt coins. Which we won't see.

Actually I have an investment there as well and I hope they're legit and long live like everyone here, but I rather trust the numbers than some nice talks.
The admin claimed to have 500 Ghs for the users and 350 Ghs for himself (scrypt ASICs). After the power went down 2 days ago, I tried to find the drops in hashrates but I found nothing (someone feels free to correct me ). I checked all the scryptcoins at coinwarz and 4 biggest coins are LTC, DOGE, SYSCOIN, VIACOIN. The total hashrates of these 4 are around 4 THs if you look at the numbers, but the fact that they are mergemining, so we could approximate the total hashrates of scryptcoins are around 1.5 THs (I ignore another small scryptcoins, but since their hashrates are not significant, I think this number is actually already an over-threshold).

So I could think of 2 possibilities:
1. Worst case: the whole mining OP is a lie and that explains no drop in hashrates. The power outage is a lie as well and we still don't know the reason yet. (Maybe it's another scheme to squeeze out the last money as well, check the hot wallet and you could see it grows almost 1k BTC more only after 2 days).
2. Best case: the mining OP is legit and the hardware is still mining, then the power outage is a lie. Maybe the admin wants to have the BTC to cover some costs, or wants to FUD the OP to buy back some cheap KHS and resell high later when the OP is turning back on.

Either the case, the possibility that the admin lying is pretty high and that's a heavy blow for honest investors. I would stop my investment if I found out that someone is lying to me.
Invest or not is your choice as always, but after getting the hard lesson at ltcgear, I would be more careful with this one.

Just my 2 satoshis.

Regards,

Aizen

Litecoin hashrate shows a ~200GHs drop in hashrate about two days back

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/assets/difficulty/litecoin-hash_rate-estimated.png?1431510607

Yes I saw that, but it goes back shortly after and even if it's from scryptcc, 200 Ghs is nowhere near the 850 Ghs he's claiming. So there exists another possibility:
3. The middle case: the whole OP is part ponzi part legit mining like ltcgear. Last year they have the legit mining OP (with muss less hashrate than now, but the payout is ridiculous and the number of users are small). After the admin was gone (or hospitalized), he came back (or another one who pretends to be him), the (new) admin has learned the fact after ltcgear fiasco that the fastest way to make money is part legit, part ponzi, he dropped  the price and increased the rewards to an acceptance level (around 60 days ROI). So human nature (greed) kicked in, the scheme lives on and survives easy for a few months since people are mostly reinvesting. After big money flows in and the number of users gets bigger, it will blow itself (like ltcgear did).

It's some possibilities I could came up, please free to correct me or discuss in an educated manner. Don't take me for a troll because I have my investment there as well.

On the 11th May there was an approx drop of 400ghash at around the time the power went off at scrypt.cc if you check the charts - http://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/dogecoin-network-hashrate-chart

Yes there are ups and downs in the cycle but this particular drop was bigger than the others in the last monthly cycle.  Once the hasrate drops and difficulty drops, more pools/miners jump in pushing it back up again.

I cant wait til scrypt.cc come back on line and I will laugh in the face of all you losers singing the usual ponzi crap.

If they go ass up and take all our money, then you are welcome to laugh in my face and say "I told you so".

If I were a betting man, which I clearly must be to invest in scrypt.cc, I'd put money that the miners will be back online again within the next 24 hours and i continues earning some good coin for doing absolutely nothing!!
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 12, 2015, 05:25:23 AM
Well i'm just so frustrated right now, if i would have sold my khs at 1300, i could now buy 2.5/3 times more, probably with new and higher eletecity costs profit will lower... but i think we will get going.

so I wonder what the rewards will be like when the admins get a new electricity contract?  I'm thinking maybe a 20% drop possibly.

Even with ROI of 90-120 days, it will still be very profitable.
The problem i see ilic, is well i don't know if they use the public state energy provider (i'm from the same state as admin), but if they do the they are really expensive, probably they have a discount for high usage but a bill for my house of 200Kwh is like 65$ and i don't know anyother source of more economic energy provider on large scale as they are legally prohibited excet if you use self solar/wind production to keep and you sell the rest for this public provider... And my fear is that they may be doing a "gato" as we call here where an alteration on eletricity cables is made so you get free energy illegaly

Yes I think you are probably right in that the way they get their electricity may not be entirely above board. We just wait and see and see what sort of deal admin can negotiate with electricity providers.

God bless Admin! No actually, admin is God!

Scrypt cc will be back. I said the same thing about mt Gox after I sent 2 more BTC worth of fiat during the final hours!!

But seriously, the admin have made millions already, I they were gonna cut and run they would have done so by now and not let people withdraw btc now.

I think rewards will drop but scrypt cc will continue

i just bought a nice little stash of khashes at 459 satoshi's earlier....i'm hoping I made the right call to buy more rather than just pull the BTC out!

Time will tell
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 11, 2015, 10:20:10 AM
the admins have already made millions off the site, if they were gonna take the money and run they would have done so already.

even with marcelo in hospital for months, the site still ran without any major problems.

If you think it's such a scam, sell off your khash and put your money somewhere else.

Of course there's no miners there!
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 10, 2015, 11:25:20 PM
What caused rewards to drop? Anything to do with the ddos attack and trade engine going down or just coincidental ?
Just noticed this now, i've been keeping a spreadsheet of investment and return ther, and today i get the same profit as 2 days ago when i had 600 less khs, so little profit drop. I don't got any info yet on the chat box but besides what u sad, could a drop on prices/ increase in dificulty of those most profitable coins they were mining. Just a theory but it could be what is behind this..

it's probably just less profitability in the altcoins that they are mining.  The rewards to go up sometimes too, I think about 10 days ago the rewards went up about 5%.  i guess it evens out.  Now I reinvest about 5% of my earnings to just slowly increase or maintain my current earnings.

There's too many people signing up now. Need more people posting about the site being a scam and accounts getting hacked to scare off new users!!
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: May 07, 2015, 11:24:14 AM
So can someone (vlad I presume) tell me exactly what makes ixcoin different to BTC and why people should invest?

I actually hold some ixcoin but I can't remember why I bought them, there must be some potential in the coin?

For the record, I think dash/dark is the only alt with real potential
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: May 07, 2015, 11:19:54 AM
So with the rename to DASH, I see 'dark send' is still called 'darksend'.

Are there any plans to rename dark send to something more 'family friendly'?

Just curious is all
