This article is interesting:

"Nepali state seizes all private bank accounts and all deposits will be automatically transferred to the prime minister's relief fund."

http://cointelegraph.com/news/114158/nepali-state-to-seize-all-relief-funds-from-bank-accounts

And people wonder why we need privacy, if DASH and BTC was more widespread and adopted then people wouldnt have their finds seized by the Government.

I would not invest there anymore. My deposit wasn't credited and they deleted my support ticket!

BE CAREFUL WITH FURTHER INVESTMENTS!

Deposit was credited after 18 hours.

Lol 1 less person spreading FUD now...until their account gets 'hacked' at least!

What's going on at the moment? Have all the trolls decided to do something useful with their time finally and stop posting crap here?!

Has there been any development news from Evan in the last week or 2? What is the core functionality the dev team is working on at the moment??
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: April 28, 2015, 10:11:34 PM

Deposits appear to be all good again. Mine went thru overnight...I missed out on some cheap 980 khashes though, back to 00001010+

Romeo, and any new scrypt cc user, please use secure passwords. Never ever click on links to login via email. Use a PIN for trading and lock your email addresses in settings.

Nah it's a deposit to scrypt.cc but there's a server issue which admins are onto. Should be sorted next few hours
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: April 24, 2015, 06:44:40 AM
Anyone with stuck deposit issues today? Had 0/3 confirms for a deposit for hours and just wondering if any known issues?

I logged a support ticket but just waiting still
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: April 21, 2015, 10:35:32 PM
So the price per khash has gone to high 900's now, what implications does this have on return (if any)?

Not interested in 'ponzi' replies etc, I've been with scrypt cc for over a year and have pulled out hundreds of dollars worth of BTC so far.
330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 07, 2015, 10:55:41 AM
I cant seem to find an answer or update anywhere so maybe someone here can help...

Is Zencloud going to come back online?  I have a few hundred dollars worth of hashlets etc that are now pretty much locked and I cant do anything with them.

This has been shutdown since early Feb and still no updates from that loser Josh Garza.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: April 04, 2015, 10:07:27 PM
There does seem to be a number of accounts being hacked lately. In saying that, it seems that the vast majority of accounts are all ok.

Most people who have no issue with the site would not post here. You look at the top 20 ranking chart, these people have hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of BTC invested. As Dyaks says, would these accounts not be the target? Who's wants to scam 0.1BTC when you can get 5BTC?

So, as Dyaks also says, are people using secure passwords, are you locking emails, are you not signing in on public PCs etc etc?

I've been with scrypt for well over a year now and have no complaints. The admin/site owner underwent major surgery and was in hospital for 6 months which is why the lack of posting.

I agree though that now he should address some of these issues.

I urge anyone using this site to check their settings, change passwords etc. it is a very profitable business for anyone involved and it would be good to keep it that way.

In saying that, how do the scrypt cc admins make their money while paying out to all the investors? I thought the days of profitable mining were pretty much over without free electricity? I haven't switched on my mining PC for about a year now?

Icebreaker, u must lead a pretty pathetic life...spending your Easter trolling the dash thread!

Get over it buddy, your coin is worthless, I'm sorry you have invested so much time and energy into something that will never really amount to much. DASH has the momentum, the technology and the market cap.

Move on.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: April 03, 2015, 09:50:12 PM
If you lock the e-mail in the settings of scrypt.cc, a scammer/hacker/phisher/whatever would need to have access to both your account AND your e-mail, and know or bruteforce your PIN, before they could withdraw your money. Did all people that got their money stolen have their e-mail locked in the settings?

Good point, I have the email lock option enabled.  You can only change this with a support ticket once enabled.

I can't understand how accounts are getting hacked so easily, what sort of passwords are you using?

Have you done scans on your PC for malware/Trojans etc?

Are you using the same password for a whole host of other sites?

any particular reason for the price to continue dropping?  Just the usual crypto cycle?
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: March 31, 2015, 11:05:22 AM
Just buy on the dumps and sell on the pumps.  It's a little more complicated than that but not much.  Make your btc and call it a day.  This "this coin is better than that coin" nonsense is ridiculous.  These coins are never going to see any real adoption.  This is like a casino and each coin is it's own slot machine.  Some pay some don't.  dash/dark has been a good payer but it's eventually going to break down and people will move to another slot machine to gamble on.

And don't call me a Monero shill because it's just another pump and dumper like all the rest.  If you think the people behind this coin or any coin are in it for anything other than personal financial gain then you are mistaken.  Some might say they are doing it to bring financial freedom and privacy to the masses or some other bullshit but they're lying.

There is nothing mutually exclusive for people to both make money and coin adoption to take place. It's not binary 0 or 1.

There is a reason why "dark has been a good payer". It's called fundamentals.

There are two ways to make money here (excluding scams).

You can either trade the waves of low and high as a daytrader, or you can invest in the long-term.

Now if you are a daytrader, you treat everything like P&D... If you are a hammer, you treat everything as a nail.

But DRK came to fill a vacuum on privacy and fungibility - needs that do have a market. 13-14 months ago I foretold that the anonymous market will get at least 1% of the transparent coins marketcap, which back then was close to 8bn USD while DRK+ANC (the only two anon coins) were something like 2-3mn combined.

By May 2014 it had already occured (market cap for anonymous coins exceeding 1%), and we are still hitting the >1% of BTC's marketcap right now for anonymous coins (DRK+others).

When a market (anonymity / privacy) goes from zero % of the pie to even 1% of the pie, it has explosive growth potential (long-term). That's why 365 days ago DRK was 0.001 and now it's 0.017. Is it being adopted? Yes it is. It is #2 after BTC in some cryptocurrency betting sites and precious metal dealers. Can it go beyond that? Well... do bears shit in the woods?

Check this out:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPAP

This is the Greek, ex-state owned (now privatized) monopoly on gambling.

The important stuff:

Revenue   6.140 billion
Operating income 1.122 billion
Profit 1.021 billion

So just one gambling monopoly, of a small bankrupt country like Greece (10mn people), and it does in revenue twice the marketcap of ...BTC (!).

In order to ensure that money flows to this monopoly, the state is even banning IPs and DNSes of foreign sites, while also imposing severe financial penalties on players who play abroad. Penalties are also enforced against web pages for displaying promotional banners of foreign gambling companies. Players are also choked at the bank (when they will have to get their money back, after winning on a foreign gambling company). So money transmission of winnings is highly problematic when the bank must report to the state and the state has to fine you, say, 5000 euros.

Can you fathom what it means for cryptocurrencies when people start breaking free of these artificial restrictions? Crypto is the only available medium to do that right now. And gambling is just an example - it's just one market. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand the adoption potential and market cap implications.

wooooow Roll Eyes a golden donkey  Grin

wow, i had nfi about this sorta stuff.

And while we are also looking beyond Plato's cave, trolls especially may enjoy this allegory Wink, I would highly recommend books by Eckhart Tolle, like A New Earth & The Power of Now, imo he is both enlightened and saying it as it is, a rare occurrence ever in the history of this mad house planet.

I've read the Power Of Now so many times , it is an amazing book and every time I read it I get more from it.

Swandeli, why are you even here buddy?

From which worthless alt-coin do you have a vested interest in? Monero probably i assume?

338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The TRUTH about Darkcoin: ZERO Anonymity, EASY DOS attacks, & Amateur code base! on: March 25, 2015, 09:35:44 AM
blah blah blah, i'm just shitty that i chose to invest my time and money  into worthless alt coins that offer absolutely nothing to the market place and have not increased in price since creation.  But now i've bashed Darkcoin too much and it's too late and hard on my ego to stop so i'll continue to offer pathetic arguments hoping that by some freak chance Darkcoin will plummet and i can go back to my poor excuse for a crypto currency.

Hey icebreaker, i just fixed your post and wrote what you actually meant to say.  Maybe your words got a bit muddled as you typed?!

oh, incase anyone missed it, Darkcoin/DASH hit 0.0249 today....what did the other 'anonymous' crypto currencies today?

Darkcoin/DASH continues to grow because it is the only genuine privacy-centric digital currency in the marketplace that actually works and has not been exploited.

i remember buying some DRK coins about a year ago at around 0.027.  And not once, in the last 10 months or so have i been doubtful or nervous that they will not only reach this again but surpass it.

Thank you to the DRK/DASH devs, ambassadors and enthusiasts.

And remember, HODL!  I aint selling a single coin til at the very least they are worth USD$50ea...and then I will sell maybe 5 or 10...i got bills that need paying!
