81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: December 19, 2020, 11:25:05 AM
If Satoshi ever moved a single of his 1million+ coins, It would cause some serious panic and anxiety.. He has the power the dump BTC down to $1 if he dumped all those coins on the market for whatever reason.. Investors know this and monitor all those old address.. A single coin hasn't moved from those early days.. You'd know if it did by the storm on Twitter etc
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Profitability and What to buy ? on: December 19, 2020, 09:12:16 AM

83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminers E3 still alive for ETH? on: December 17, 2020, 02:13:24 PM
4GB cards still mining ETH right now, will lose around 5-6% hashrate for every new epoch until around mid-late jan when they will be at around 50% of their original speed.

The above is true for Linux, Windows is much worse.. 4GB cards on windows hashrate will be halved around now or in the next week.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminers E3 still alive for ETH? on: December 14, 2020, 01:28:21 PM
what a surprise.. it works! i just follow your guide.. just fill those stratum pool 1,2,3 address..then wait for an hour..now e3 is hashing..

Good job, ETA on next DAG : 32 hours.. Cant be many left Smiley
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin to mine with cpu for long term hold and also for daily on: December 12, 2020, 08:00:44 PM
Hello community. Please guide me which coin i should mine using my spare cpu . First suggest me coin which generate even satoshi value of BTC per day profit. Then suggest me a cpu mining coin which has potential to pump 10x in long hold.
A single CPU won't bring you anything even if you are mining 24/7 every day, majority of CPUs are bad for mining because they can't keep up with the high difficulty of many altcoins, if you don't have the following CPUs don't bother wasting your time, also they are best for RandomX Algorithm

1. AMD CPU Threadripper 3990X
2. EPYC 7742
3. Threadripper 3970X
4. EPYC 7551
5. EPYC 7601

Power to hash ratios make the 3900x worth while too, 3950x too but its not quite as efficient.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is the number of shares proportional to the MH/s? on: December 11, 2020, 11:24:52 PM
All shares are not equal.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ETH Diff on: December 02, 2020, 10:57:05 AM
When the EPOCH changed from 378-379 last night, All pool's lost a LOT of hash, Ie 10TH from ethermine and 5TH from Nanopool.. etc etc

Is this the end for the original Antminer E2 4GB?

Where's the rig? Thats an ASIC.. Not a rig..
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.2e: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 27, 2020, 08:59:06 PM
Friends, help me, I'm new to mining.
I want to buy AMD 5700 XT for ETH mining.
This is a good investment for mining: Phoenix Miner / 5700 XT ?

Good for 55-58 mh at 80-120w  Smiley
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 16, 2020, 08:20:01 PM
please, we need Linux version!
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 15, 2020, 11:18:17 PM
Anybody using 1070? Two years ago all of the 1070s were pushing a constant 30-32 mh/s. Now, only one (EVGA) of them is pushing 29 mh/s, the rest (AERO MSI) are in the low 22-23 mh/s. I understand the 1070s are affected by the increased DAG size as well as nvidia's drivers. However, how come one of my card still pushes similar numbers to two years ago, is the EVGA using a more efficient memory or what causes this? I've tweaked mem/clock and TDP but nothing. Thanks.

OS: Win 10
Newest Nividia drivers
Latest/Beta PM.
Straps/vrtimings, etc. all applied

I'm running some, The Samsung memory variants are still hitting 30-31mh with a +800 OC, The Micron memory variants hitting 26-27mh with a +200-250 OC..

Not sure why yours are 22-23.. What are the temps? are they throttling?
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 15, 2020, 01:32:31 PM
Linux ETA?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What speed is your 1080ti running? (EThash) on: November 13, 2020, 06:47:41 PM
I'm getting 46-47mh currently.

It's a shame nVidia never released a DAG patch like AMD did, If that were the case these would still be at 55mh  Undecided
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 15, 2020, 12:55:28 PM
Is this miner still being developed? It appears the OP hasn't been online for nearly 3 months.. ?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to continue mining ETH on your 4G AMDs for 4 additional month on: October 15, 2020, 12:46:25 PM
Thanks for putting time into this, Much appreciated  Smiley

PS, the 580 came out in Apr '17 not 2005 like the pic but lol nonetheless
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 13, 2020, 12:27:36 PM
I have a few rigs with 9GPU AMD 4GB and all of them have the same problem. Only 8 GPU's are working, GPU 1 hashrate is 0.0MHS and after some time miner restarts because GPU "is not working". Any tips for that error? Tried latest windows, different drivers....etc If I try to mine different coin they are all wrking at full speed, and no issue with GPU1....

Windows reserves more VRAM for GPU1 (usually 200-400mb) as its usually used to produce the display.

You have 2 options for GPU1.. Switch to Linux (SMOS,HIVEOS ETC) or mine something else.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU (real/actual) memory size detection on: October 09, 2020, 11:09:50 PM

I think if you use Ubuntu you will get the most space because it uses maybe 50-75mb or so of GDDR, so you can mine up to 3.95GB almost. Anything higher and it won't work.

SMOS which is ubuntu uses around 20-30 mb so should be fine up until around ~4060MB dag size as the physical capacity is actually 4096MB.

I'm building a new rig with 6x 5700xt and all works fine with 5, I get the below when I add the sixth GPU (all stock, brand new - out the box GPUS)

- I've tried multiple risers, all the same... Is this card Dead on arrival?
