What is difference between giving vote to delegate vs delegate pool?
giving vote to a delegate wont give you any share in the rewards unless you have prior agreement with the delegate owner. joining a pool you will get a reward proportional to the votes you've given. Thank you, no wonder I did not get any reward for the votes I gave to a delegate yet. By default, shall the delegate owner pay users rewards for the votes they delegated? no that's not the default. it's really up to the delegate owner to share rewards or not. it's not mandatory.

Just to be sure of my understanding : If i want to "mine" the semux coin, i need to be delegate and then validator, right ?
So if i "just" became delegate but not validator, it will be useless to me or the network ?
That is correct. The only reason to be a delegate is if you plan to be a validator. Only the validators participate in mining and validating blocks in the network.

This offer is not going to hit soon but it'll always be out there.
1,000 SEM for 0.1btc (10,000 sats per 1SEM).
LMFAO - so I guess the dev is giving out around $250 a day per person during the giveaway huh? Pretty much, he just doesn't know it yet. +1 on the ever increasing value of SEMUX. I know the dev is aware of this but is not concerned. Dev is more focused on making sure the bugs are sorted out and all the necessary features are in before the final release on Q1 2018. By then this project will go to the moon.

I think 1-2% It won't be ever less than 10% for sure. However, since the network launch will be only in 2018 and the coin has no price yet (while servers have the real and pretty big price), I was thinking that 50% to 50% will be much more fair. 50% is too much and will defeat the purpose of a pool which is to help the small guys participate in growing their SEMs. Between 10-20% is reasonable.
