1  Economy / Economics / Re: Tether's market cap is huge! (usdt) on: December 22, 2020, 03:36:02 AM
I am worried about my funds in USDT. I think I have to move to USDC or BUSD.
Same here, already halfed my USDT and exchanged it to USDC.
Not so worried, thats just a rational safety call
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 03:43:35 PM
I don't even care with what those haters saying about the new cryptos. There were so many major cryptos have come from the new coins too. YFI, AVAX and so many promising coins have been giving me very huge return this year.
I wonder how those people keep sayin if the new coins were scam coins. It's so complicated to understand what they were thinking about that.
New promising coins and new huge return.
Well, those are not very practical to be honest.
They may be quite profitable for some of crypto investors, but long term they won't be around lets face it.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: October 25, 2020, 02:36:45 PM
Both of them are high trusted by the community of crypto. Ethereum is the biggest platfrom based coin. The biggest platfrom based token with a huge number of use cases and the market cap and the dev support pool is also very big. Anyone at the market at this time will belive in ethereum. In other hand BNB is not just a exchange based token any more. It's also have its chain its own dex many coins supported in binance chain. So many those who have a complain that BNB is just a exchange token that is not now. I think in investment case you could go with both without any hasitation.
Dont you think bnb is quite overrated? It surely serves the purpose, but comparing it to eth which gave birth to most of tokens we use and trade nowadays.
Ethereum as company and eth as coin made way more than bnb and binance
4  Economy / Economics / Re: We need a economic revolution right now . on: September 18, 2020, 11:32:32 AM
Its been what, like 5-6 months since this thread started.
And I can completely relate to the message was sent back then, but now I can claim - its not as bad as we were imagining it.
And my brain tells me - it won't be catastrophical, people will die, there will be less money in our pockets, but eventually - it will be a okay.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto community getting lost again? on: September 02, 2020, 04:56:24 AM
It's easy to get lost when you see a lot green candles from these DeFi and Yield Farming tokens if you're a new player. Those investors who experienced the 2018 crash would have matured by now but that's not what the charts is telling me right now. Maybe they are also taking advantage of the ignorance of newbies.
You're right, its easy to get lost in all those incredible things happening here in there like YFI coin or uniswap madness.
Is it up to community to decide where the market will lead tomorrow? Probably, but not totally.
Demand and supply is a two way road, so its not all about users and their choices.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap - Why so successful? on: August 24, 2020, 05:50:36 AM
There are a lot of DEXes out there and high likely even more swapping engines. What has Uniswap done to standout and take the majority of the exchanging cake? Is it because it runs on Ethereum and that it has a sound solid underlying software backend or something else? Do you guys use it what are your experience with it? I´m trying top build something similar but not necessarily a competitor so I was wondering what we can do to please possible future clients
There was some sort of hype going on, because Uniswap has a lot of versatility when it comes to tokens and transaction time.
Moreover, sometimes you can find a really good profitable deal in token paired with eth
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The United States blocked Tiktok and Wechat, the era of decentralized VPN is com on: August 11, 2020, 06:42:33 AM
I still can't believe this happened.
It is absolutely irrational, stupid and has no profit for anyone except us govs basically.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Brace yourselfs , the economic earthquake is coming ... on: July 31, 2020, 05:10:50 PM
Everyone is pointing out this "September crisis" online nowadays, anyone know why specifically September? For some reason people are saying that we did have a bad situation in economy due to pandemic and that was bad but it recovered so fastly that it is actually not recovered but just made it look like it recovered and in September the "real" trouble will be shown and everything will be horrible.
I guess it is September because our current problems are going to "snowball" on us in the nearest months. And if current economical state won't change to upcoming - we will face deep trouble in September/October indeed
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: July 26, 2020, 03:10:46 PM
Do you really need a Degree these days?
If you had to do it all over would you go to college?
If I would be the age when I have to decide whether to go to college or not right not, in 2020 - I wouldn't go to the college 100% there are so many better opportunities nowadays.
But If I would travel time back to the past when I'm about to go to the college - I wouldn't change anything
10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: July 24, 2020, 04:43:30 PM
Good news for you. So, you are now working even in the NY?
I never saw any sort of list of states where purchases are available now.
Perhaps, we'll have to wait a bit more to see it
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 09, 2020, 08:50:27 PM
unfortunately, there are not so many possibilities for you to get rid of them.
first of all, you can try and find a buyer manually, on this forum for instance
second of all, you can wait for some other exchange list it again
And last but not least - do not invest in unlimited alts or at least make sure they're worth of time and money
12  Economy / Economics / Re: The Covid19 Curve is Flattening on: July 01, 2020, 03:12:15 AM
COVID-19 case still continues to increase in some areas just like in our place, the spread is getting worse that even some establishments resume their business operations but still, the sales are not looking good. This pandemic certainly affects the stock market, lives of the people, and more on economic capability. But despite these things, I saw a positive impact on the online business which we can find out an increase of online users and business that brought something in good. And perfectly a time for a crypto to be recognized and people will adopt in this.
Yeah I've noticed too how many online projects has risen during this time and crypto got a lot more attention than it usually gets.
We still can't say that this is the "flat" part of the hill, it may occur that there will be next even more greater wave of it, but we hope for the best of course.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2020 one of the most negative year in my life ... on: June 26, 2020, 08:56:37 PM
btw, 2020 is the worst year for almost everyone in the world, the worst thing that I experienced this year was that my family and I could not worship and holiday as we had planned..
It feels like the end of the world, but it isn't, not at this point at least.
I am deeply sorry for anyone who is in trouble because of current world conditions.
But I also deeply believe that its going to be okay in just 6-18 months
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out for the following on: June 10, 2020, 01:21:40 PM
Newbies like myself be warned, don't make crypto decisions because of the following, they are very misleading and extremely danger to your money
1. Crypto Analysts predictions
2. Hyped projects by billionaires or known people e.g McAfee
3. Going into futures and margin trading when you haven't even mastered normal trading
Seek for answers and you shall find, knowledge is power
Almost all projects that John McAfee hyped are down in value up to their death door already, I'm not saying it's John's fault but yeah he sure got his reputation ruined already, my advice for newbies is to have interest more in the use case of projects not those hyping the project
It is a common misunderstanding among crypto newcomers - hyped up projects, loud ICOs/IEOs are mostly just scams, but they look like "real deal" projects for newbies.
Unfortunately, real crypto projects are not that loud and their updates come out once in a while, I mean its not that fun and profits are not as magical as they may look like
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What online service / product would you buy in this recession ? on: May 31, 2020, 06:46:54 PM
Answer to all your questions would be : Basic things needed to take care of family.
For the second it would be : Bitcoins and other new ICO token coins , because the government is literally not doing anything and unfortunately everyone is jobless and suffering therefore I will place my best bets with safe trading and if I lost more than 10% , would encash out instantly since the time is dire and whatever you loose would affect your family and you too .
I would like to extend this thread to tell how we should start saving up and taking care of our situation since I do not think we would be on the track soon enough.
Basically, if you do understand what position we are going to be in for the next couple months (at least) - you will understand, there are no way to spend your money on anything which is not needed.
Everything surplus you should invest in anything you think is appropriate.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins are 👎👎👎 on: May 05, 2020, 01:43:09 PM
They are rooting for a new coin because they are already too late to get hold some of what currently top coins and miss a chance to be rich lol. They ain't looking for things that old coin don't have, they just want to be rich. This is why sometimes, you see people shill a new coin to the point like a fanatic.
People do understand that 10 years earlier when bitcoin became a thing - there occured more other coins. Most of them haven't make it to this day, so some people lost their funds.
But there are people who invested in bitcoin particularly early enough to make enormous amount of profit.
Everyone wants to be the one who invested in bitcoin, not dead coin obviously.
And part of this process - to promote coins you've invested in to simply boost the coin's value
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 20, 2020, 01:33:57 PM
We have a lot of expectations in the halving in fact our expectations are very high before this pandemic especially those new in the market and the first time to experience halving, now is your expectation still high in the coming halving even if we are in the middle of a pandemic.
I don't see bitcoin over $12000 ever again honestly.
For me it looks like btc is getting into slow pace stage when its fluctuations won't be as big as they were.
Now when pandemic situation is going on - I believe it will slow down btc even more, so halving won't change much
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Make your donation against COVID-19 on: April 08, 2020, 06:34:01 AM
You know it's difficult to ask for donations online because there's a lot of scammers and users out there which take this covid19 as an opportunity to earn money for their own sake. Even me,i will hesitate this kind of donation because i don't even know if this is legit. Much better to give donations directly to the persons in need.
Agreed, I am quite scared about it too.
However lets face the facts - you and I won't donate to anyone since the person itself won't ask for anything.
I mean imagine a person being very sick due to coronavirus, and he is in facebook/instagram/whatever begging for money, lists all his wallets including btc/erc20 ones.
And moreover you should be available at the moment he is promoting his post and you should be attentive enough to notice the post.
I don't know man, I kinda like the idea of one-company-collecting-charity-and-then-transfers-to-person-who-needs
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: April 01, 2020, 06:55:25 AM
I think many benefit if bitcoin become legal transaction and government give space for bitcoin become legal transaction, will have transparent system payment if using bitcoin and keep away from with corruption if government use bitcoin as their payment in every sector.
It can lessen corruption only if the government that will govern the use are honest, but to those that still have many corrupt officials there are
still capabilities that they can launder money out from this system, corrupt people will always find ways.
we literally can't avoid human factor with any level of clarity of the system whether its fiat or blockchain.
we have to educate people what is it like to care about other people around them before anything changes
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 26, 2020, 09:12:58 AM
Not at all now a days I don't think the bounties are as rewarding as what it used to be .I have read that XEM offered some 1 million coins for replying hello in their ANN thread .It went on to appreciate so much that people became millionaires for just saying hello.Everyone wishes for those days again.
Weren't there hundreds of other bounties which lead to absolutely zero profit?
It is almost exactly the same nowadays, but now we know what was profitable and what was not, it still was a blind roulette
