Feels like its time to finally get out of this coin. Also IDAX is the scammiest exchange ever. "48 btc volume" .. yeah right. Trying to sell couple thousand coins there for the last days always having them as the lowest sell order. Guess what? There is absolutly no activity there.
I think PHR needs to get on a real exchange besides cryptopia where you can trade those coins. A big exchange would be preferable. Try listing on bittrex. They wont even charge a fee! Just do it!

Just download the new wallet and delete the old data. If you haven't swapped you coins from the old blockchain I guess they are now worthless. The swapped has ended a few days ago .. My question: Why is the new qt wallet now detected by Windows Defender as malware? DEV wallet is the only qt wallet that gets detected as virus by Windows ..? |

You can rent a VPS for $5 per month and host multiple Masternodes on it (only if they are from different coins in most cases). There are various services in the $8-10 range that will manage your Masternode for you too, although I'm not sure which ones support SnowGem specifically.
In my opinion, investing into Masternode is very risky, mainly because real ROI will be much different than estimated ROI at the time investors decide to invest into their interest masternode coins. Just don't invest in those shitty pump&dump scam masternode coins. Choose a project that has proven itself to be trustworthy. Like Snowgem for example. Chances are high that this project will rise in price and interest due to hard work of the officials. So it's a good investment. I don't think you will lose money. Also look at what nUm81 said. You can always cut your losses (if there will be) and step out of the masternode bussines. |

Beware, VPS is not mandatory if you have enough capacity on your PC for running a MN.
No it's not necessary but you need to have a static IP what most of the normal users don't have. This might change in the future .. Yep, the majority of ISP (at least here in the USA) don't offer a static IP address. When they do offer it they charge more money for it too, so hosting a MN on a VPS is the best option for allot of folks. Hosting a MN on a VPS would cost you more than you'd get back. Unless you were running lots of master nodes or already had a static address/VPS it doesn't seem worth the investment. Not true. VPS costs around 5 - 10$ per Month. The rewards of this coin are 259$ per Month atm. So you will earn around 250$ per month by hosting a Snowgem MN on a VPS. Do your math! |

Don't know. That's something you have to check yourself. I think there is no mining software. You can post in Claymores thread and ask if there are some news. Or you try to write him directly. Those equihash forks are pretty new because the asics have just been released. So it might take a while. Like always developers are faster in adapting for Nvidia's CUDA then for OpenCL .. Can't blame Snowgem for that Edit: If you have AMD cards you might change to some other coin in the meantime. If you still want to help Snowgem grow just convert the coins you mine to XSG via exchanges. |
