Hi, I just upgraded to 1803 using 11.7 miner version. The miner now gets stuck at: https://ibb.co/jVAeR7It stays there for at least 1,5 hours till now. Looking forward to your help! I just had Bill on the phone. He confirmed we should wait at least 1803 minutes before some hashes appear. MS fee, just one time though.

Hi Claymore or anybody. Which miner is best to mine Zero Coin on Windows using RX580 please. I have the same question please mining Hush Coin Thanks I'm putting in the ignore list all dump questions which suggest the person cannot think with his/her head, but the most I love is ignoring hero members.

Claymore - Would it be possible to have the logs go into a subfolder in the next version?
+1 yes that's a really good idea -1. It is good as it is. If you want subfolder or unique filenames, use a script. The man has put enough options to control the log file already. why should i use a script, when it would be a few keystrokes for claymore. if i'm paying for the use of a program via a devfee, (barely a) feature request is not unreasonable. it would make sense rather than having the main program folder fill up with logs on win 10. I see you are a true believer.

Claymore's Dual Ethereum + Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner. =========================
Latest version is v11.4:
- fixed issue with stale shares. - fixed issue with incorrect shares. - a few minor bug fixes and improvements.
He is more or less right in giving out. I can confirm the so called 'optimizations' come at increased Watts (at least for me). Made several tests with different versions and the outcome is 3.30% more Watts and 1.79% more hashes. These are without any power limit set. Probably to make it more 'tempting' so people switch to the newest version always...

Upgraded to 11.4 and quite stable for me as 11.3. Will monitor the stales for 24h though....

Noob here. Canadian one at that.
I calculate NH is taking about 10%. That's a lot. I've read where I can set up an exchange to automatically sell ETH and Decred to bitcoin? Anyone here doing this?
I'm guessing as the Dragonmint blake 256 miner come online those coins will quickly not be profitable.
I just love it when I ask an important question and its the very last post on a page. Wrong thread, better create your own and make sure you ask the important question once at the start of each page.

Hi all, have trawled through pages and pages here and haven't seen anything like this. Just updated to v11.2 and using Windows 10, 2 cards RX480 and RX580. As soon as I open the program it throws me a windows error "EthDcrMiner64.exe has stopped working" without leaving a log. I tried adding a pause to the batch file but it still doesn't say anything. Tried v11.1 and had the same problem. V11.0 works perfectly, and this is what I will use in the mean time. I have also had this problem with Claymore ZCash miner and also the Cryptonote miner. Zcash miner crashes starting at v9.0 onward and Cryptonote miner crashes from v9.7 onward. They all have one thing in common, SSL support was added in these versions as has v11.1 in dual miner. Anyone else have this kind of issue? I also have linux on another harddrive and have no problems running the new versions of each of these miners listed. Claymore, is there anything in the code which could be causing this crash? Cheers Ensure there is AV exclusion for the new versions and you are running it as Admin (if your AV is too strict, sometimes this helps with miners).

with 11.2 I rather got more stales +3-4% stale shares
I wouldn`t mind a few more stale shares... but i have a difference in what claymore reports and what pool reports that is unacceptable. Claymore reports 50 more shares than pool (1 hour timeframe). 193 (Claymore) > 148 (Pool) 165 (Claymore) > 143 (Pool) Check my previous post:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg31682140#msg31682140No clue why what how. The easiest thing to try is a different pool dude. Anything else, considering the poor information you've provided, will be a wild guess

I've set up keccak on a YIIMP pool. With pool difficulty set at 1024 (the same setting that the official SmartCash pools use), ccminer was getting about 50% bad shares due to low difficulty. We found the batch file has to use the "-m 2" switch to multiply the difficulty, or manually set difficulty higher to resolve this problem. Setting the pool difficulty to 2048 did not help.
People are having problems dual-mining ETH and SMART due to this 50% bad shares due to low difficulty issue. I can't find a difficulty multiplier param or difficulty modification param for Claymore miner. Does something like this exist?
Anyone know what might help me fix this problem on the pool?
Thanks
Difficulty is a pool related setting. You can decrease Claymore intensity (there is a parameter for that), or try tuning -dcri. However I doubt this is your goal here...

Extremly tired of searching this xvg mining pools that actually work/steal . If there is anybody that has knowledge of setting up one just for blake2s mining pool i can provide a server for it and pay for creating/maintance. Unfortunatly i have limited knowledge of linux and even less time to do it..... Creating something like a mining pool without linux knowledge could lead to big problems - especially regarding security. Also I'm not sure which specs the server needs but I don't think the hardware of already existing pools is that bad - I think there are just too many miners so I guess the needed server could be very expensive. Hardware is not so important, except the CPU. You need to secure it, just running it behind your router's firewall won't help you. Then you need DDOS protection - as soon as you start getting more miners, the big whales will kill you with regular and syncronized attacks. The ISP bandwidth is not so important as if they have IPS/IDS enabled (which will result in miners unable to connect to the pool). People running pools for free, hoping to achieve something nowadays are doomed

Just wanted to share that 11.0 rock solid, no single freeze or spurious reboot, while on 10.3/10.6 it was rebooting several times per day.
+1 With older claymore versions, I got several restart per day beacuse "WATCHDOG: GPU 5 hangs in OpenCL call, exit", but with 11.0 my rig is running smoothly for +48h now. Great job Claymore There is nothing different concerning that, what you got is just an issue you had to deal yourself and you blamed claymore's previous version, now that a magical fix came, you are saying this version solved the issue hehe, amazing how many noobs we have here mining hehe Amazing how many idiots are there, that have never written a single line of code, know nothing and judging the others by number of posts on the forum. I can add some info for all uneducated lads complaining in the last 30 or more pages: - whattomine blake2s estimates are for solo mining. So your expectations are wrong from the start... - then for every pool that 'steals' your shares - first try checking how many blocks it finds, then divide the reward to the number of miners at that moment, remove the fees and you'll get an aproximate estimation

I hit 'ignore', figure if they are that way inclined the chances of them ever posting something useful is slim to none.
P.S
My 10th post so maybe you'll read this hehe
Cheers for that 'ignore', never noticed it so far.

Guys! Please think about what you are posting: we don't need to see the entire "README!!.txt" file or half of your logfile posted here - and if we do need your logfile to figure something out for you - we'll ask. Jeezus, people!
I run a web-based forums site myself, so I know that it's tempting and easy to just not consider everybody else, but it's truly a waste of time for people like Claymore who read (or at least try) through this whole thing three of four times a day!
Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox, now...
I never read such long quoted posts. Also skipping posts from people with <10 posts. Hope to find some kind of an addon which will filter these for me

If you don't want to pay DevFee use some other miner. Don't cheat. Just image how you would feel if someone not pay you for your work.
I knew some of you would object to that kind of post which is why I kept it vague and technical. For the rest of you, how about you all not 'cheat' and stop using/accumulating cryptocurrency, embrace receiving fiat for your labor, pay your taxes for the government's work? See, we could have entire arguments about morality and money which I don't care for. Hey, I'm not going to use it despite the fact I have the skills to implement your solution. Anyway fair play for sharing as this can be used for invisible hash stealing from some uneducated so called 'miners'...

Hey mate, The .exe file was created in order to easen the usage of the bot for the users, so the main purpose was a really simple, working bot for everyone. Also, if you are worried about safety, in Cryptopia and Yobit settings you can tick on [API Trading] and leave the other boxes unticked, so the bot won't be able to do any other than trading. If you want I can give you the scource tho ))) Well, we both know how it works. Do I need to explain that this is not enough as I still can end up with depleted account? Also the fact that you are 'willing' to provide me the source is very suspicious. Better learn how to trade in real life. Anyway, decided to make my own, gl.

Hmm... 'Many persons' Unless you provide a trial working version I won't buy it.

Hey buddy, I really doubt someone educated enough would trust running an .exe file with his keys being managed in an unknown way. Give me a shout if you can sell me the same functionaly but as a script in either of these: rubby/python/php

Hey guys! I'm super new to the forum, thanks for all the great help!
I just downloaded Claymore V11 and im getting a virus: Win32/CoinMiner!bit is it a false negative? I downloaded it from the main page. Just wanted to check.
Thanks again guys
Happened to me as well.. however I am not new to mining stuff, previous versions of Claymore never showed virus alert Me too. Cause AMD Wattman problem and mining rig hangup after boot. Now back to 10.6. I think all of you lads should make a group, discuss it internally and decide whether to continue with mining.

i use a ASROCK H110 BTC Pro+ Mainboard with AMD Cards and Claymore Miner on SimpleMiningOS. How can i see which GPUx Card is which PCIE Port on the Mainboard, for debug or tuning the cards...?
Someone should remove your Legendary status!
