1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: Today at 05:40:47 PM
I would not TC Haaland right now. He is not as oiled as he was when I TC'ed him.

Much better idea to TC some Arsenal attacker in GW37. Or if you really want, Foden or Gordon. Or maybe Palmer. But you're not going to get very far with any of the forwards at this stage.

I'm surprised to see you all without Halaand; I was the only one who brought him in; did you not listen to the news? The Wolves' whole defense lines are in the hospital. I chose Palmer captaincy because I assumed y'all would be captaining Halaand. This is a positive sign, and I'll definitely spend my TC on him in the DGW to finish the league once and for all.

Isak missed a PK, I'm not mad, he made up for the -4 I got him with.

P.S. Me replying to Igebotz before noon on Friday with two posts. Not even my kids have this much attention. Also, congratulations to your moderator position. I better brush up on my pidgin..!

Lol. Thanks Grin

A nice start with your Eveton assets, you're back to the top. I burnt my 8 points lead to have a team for the entire of the season, no more taking of hits and my team is ready for the W37 DGW and possibly TC chip. My only concern now is Gusto but he's back to training and could start from the bench.

I love the fact that all of us went with different Capt options this time, surprised no one went with Halaand.

@trofo - as usual you ignored my question. This season you're just greedy with tips.
4  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [CHARTS] Monthly Overview Of Nigeria Local Board📈 Monthly Merit Reward on: May 03, 2024, 07:22:17 PM
Thank God I was able to do this earlier than before, @Igebotz is really doing well with just a day things are better now and we won`t` be having much ignored topics for now on since they would be moved to off topic or deleted just like these here. Thanks for your good work boss, God bless you

I appreciate all the work you're doing too to keep up from where I stopped. The main board is becoming a place for real conversations and I'm not done with it yet. I still get more than 500 topics to move about.

On your graphs- the first picture size is okay, you can adjust the other two with the same width and height to make it look better.

Lastly always tag the top posters like I use to do so they can track their efforts.
5  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Another attempt to discourage cryptocurrency adoption. on: May 03, 2024, 05:21:29 PM
Nobody goes to commercial banks anymore because of how poor their services are, and with Nigeria's current poor network, no one wants to wait all day to be credited when they can simply use these fin tech banks to make quick transactions.
You did not understand me. Go for a P2P transaction now and use commerical bank. Let us see how the commerical banks are different from the above mentioned ones like Opay.

Commercial banks are trash if compared to fintech banks, and most of Marchants on the P2p marketplace do not transact with commercial banks; instead, they prefer fintech banks. If you use commercial banks for trading, there is a risk that they may hold your money without crediting you, therefore using commercial banks for quick transactions is not advisable.

I can't even remember the last time I use commercial banks for my transaction.

Quote
No they did not. How will they know P2P transactions? Like I said, I use commerical bank also because I know they are not different from Opay, Moniepoint...regarding this.

At least more than 1000 bank accounts were frozen under the past CBN Government. Not everyone knows how to trade the way we do, and no matter how perfect the system is there would always be a victim regardless.

All I see here is commercial banks using the CBN to fight Fintech banks- nothing else to see..
6  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Another attempt to discourage cryptocurrency adoption. on: May 03, 2024, 04:26:56 PM
I am not a crypto trader  Grin

Do not label transactions as crypto or anything that as to do with crypto as crypto.

Has anyone else received this message from their fintech banks?
We do not need to receive it. We have seen where they are driving to. I deleted Moniepoint few weeks ago when I am not using it. It was only taking some space on my device.

I use commerical banks also and I do not see any difference. They do not go after commercials bank. Stupidity. They are just getting everything wrong. We can see the reason why the country is not good.

Nobody goes to commercial banks anymore because of how poor their services are, and with Nigeria's current poor network, no one wants to wait all day to be credited when they can simply use these fin tech banks to make quick transactions.

This message was issued to commercial banks years ago, and they have consistently opposed cryptocurrency transactions. Now that practically everyone uses fintech banks for cryptocurrency transactions, I understand why they're only getting a message with a punishment ( no new customers)
7  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: OKX has stopped its p2p service for Nigerian customers on: May 03, 2024, 04:16:14 PM
The Government doing everything possible to make crypto seem like the culprit for the worsen economy. One thing I learnt from the Binance P2p shutdown was the fact that the problems in the country span far beyond P2p market. The economy is generally weak. They're going to go after Bybit next. It's no brainer at this point. I would be pleasantly surprised if decentralized p2p markets come up and govt tries to attack them too as they have done the centralized ones without knowing it's not going to work.

After Bybit is taken down, we'll go back to WhatsApp and TG groups before decentralized p2p markets make their stand? It needs to happen soon.

Decentralized exchanges are there ready to use but the volume is extremely low for Naira p2p trading since most Nigerian do not know much about DEX exchanges and how it works - CEX makes p2p very easy and safer that's only reason it's more popular.

Back to the old traditional p2p ? Money go loss oooo, the only best way I see is Bitcoin to gift cards then trade it to Naira.

If you are an OKX user here, you must have found out by now that you can no longer trade crypto for Naira in that platform. E be like say our government don secretly warn this platform and told them to stop offering trading in Naira for Nigerians. First it was Binance, now it is OKX, i dey believe say very soon trading in Naira in centralized exchanges no go dey possible again.

I raised alarm about some duvious movement on the p2p marketplace on the other forum a few days ago - there are few p2p Marchants ( could be Govemment agents) coming on these marketplace to set a ridiculous rate to score cheap point and to have reasons to go against these platforms.. there was this Marchant who set his buying rate at N1,500 while the official black market rate was between N1,300- 1,350.

I suspect something like this would happen - the Govemment and Nigerians are careless about everything. Tbh.

The less said about my last few weeks in football, the better. At least BVB gave us some kind of nice match to watch eh? Now if they actually win this, I will regret not taking the 18/1 outright I piffed at just a couple of weeks ago. Serves me right.

ajiz138 and notblox1 I see your caps, but we'll only award one final freebet for the top 3 after the final. So well done, but you've got 3 more games to go =) Everyone who got points this week will probably have a shot. 1miau happy anyway with the positive result Wink

All I had to do was believe in the draw to get myself into top 10...

I pulled out 35 points and no noise about it  Grin; if it were the other way around, I'm sure you'd be poking my ass right now. I'm clueless about the rules here; am I getting a free bet or is there a Ninja who outscored me in this round?

PSG is going to knock out Dortmund and there's no single doubt in my head. PSG - Real Final.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Sincere Thank you to theymos for honoring our request for 9ja board on: May 03, 2024, 07:55:26 AM
What is 9ja board? I am assuming Nigeria because if I am not incorrect then Agbe is from that local board, earlier I saw flumpnuggets becoming a staff.

I would like to know where exactly you kissed theymos? In the butt hole or somewhere in the opposite side 😂
Please take no offense

Same place I used to kiss you before you became a dark angel. But don't worry I still love you like that... Grin

Congratulations to Naija board for having Igebotz as their moderators and congratulations to Igebotz for becoming moderator of his local board. I hope that the sheriff will continue to serve his duties more strictly from now on. Best of luck from my side!

A win for the Forum, a win for Naija and a win for the BSFL Division 2 Sherrif's Desk. It's been a work work few days but I'm settling well in my new cave. Thanks Sam!

Another moderator has appeared on the forum. This is Igebotz. He became a moderator of the Nigerian section of the forum.
Good news.
Nigerian local board showed big increase in activity since it was created and adding new moderator is a great decision.
I would like to see same thing happening for Croatian board before I die or leave the forum, maybe this is just wishful thinking.

Tell us you're 80yrs old without mentioning it - that statement got me rolling on the floor  Grin. theymos silence means thousand words, he sees everything and take actions when due. Your board's turn will come..

This should show those applying for a local board or merit source that theymos checks the data and will act accordingly when he feels the need has arisen for any such change. Congratulations to igehbotz.

Thanks for the flowers but I will still banter your shitty club.

You misunderstood, it is not that I don't want to share what will hinder Newcastle, it is that I don't know. That is why I will tell you after the game  Grin

I just have a feeling that something will go wrong. Clubs that get the most faith from us are the ones that usually disappoint.

Lol. How did I miss that ....  Grin

The list of players who let us down when we all expected much from them is endless; but for me Son and Salah top this list. Watkins and Darwin are in the same WhatsApp group as far as I'm concerned.

If you had a gun in your head and one in your balls, who would you choose as a worthy TC option from the remaining fixtures?

Below 30- headshot !!!!

Share me your secret, I'm not your rival I'm deep bottom.  Grin

You have no Watkins, that is his secret. Watkins is going to tear apart all the teams that don't have him. He is like a Harry Kane regen. How did you think buwaytress held on to first place for so long?

Watkins is a shoot and hope option - Nigga can go 5 matches blank without catching a break. Couldn't do it again dead Chelsea not sure he gonna do it against Crystal Palace and Liverpool ( excluding BHA) you should have him.  Grin

Buwaytress will not be there after Tonight  Grin Palmer will push him out.
