Have you guys seen this?

Inside Newcastle United's Future Stadium Plans

PLEASE, i dont want to see another boring rounded stadium, i hope to see the stadium keeping his style, is pretty abd to see so many englands stadium become all similars. I hate it, i want to see them preserving their particular forms.

Could be another Chelsea projected stadium rebuilding plan that hasn't break the light for 3 years now since Abramovic left. I don't know how I will feel if Newcastle starts before us...

English teams are known for having boring stadium designs, they only care about adding more seats and expanding field that's all.

Oh and how important is Trossard in Arsenal's current squad?  He won't be able to play vs Bournemouth as he got a couple of yellow cards vs City.

He is the club's best second-half substitute and has scored important match-winning goals since last season. Saka is also out; the extent of his injuries is unknown, but things do not seem good for them. No Saka, Ode and Trossard.

On current form, I expect Chelsea to win their home game against Liverpool because both will play attacking football leaving space at the back. As for Manchester United, will anybody be surprised if Brentford win?

Allison is out, not a huge news but it a little advantage to us. As for Manchester United they're on a promo and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose again. I will be going against them against Brentford.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: Today at 07:41:55 PM
Not Liverpool, the rumours are pointing towards Germany national team which we can't rule out the possibility because the national team won't be as stressful as club football and they don't play every weekend so he's still be having time on his hand to eat the burgers as you said lol. Klopp has a good reputation in Germany but Redbull don't so I don't see this partnership lasting that long as klopp can't change the fans mind about Redbull.

Nagelsmann wants club football and will likely leave after the world cup so there's going to be an open slot to fill and it'll fit Klopp so well or do you think he'll reject the privilege of managing his nation?

Unfortunately, both scenarios are unlikely to happen given that Klopp's 5-year contract with Redbull does not include an exit clause, and Nagelsmann will remain out of club football and focus on the national team until after the 2026 World Cup. I am not ruling out the possibility of Nelgelsmnan getting sacked before the World Cup or abandoning the national team for club football, but I highly doubt it.

Yeah six weeks sucks, two of them are this international break though so maybe that’s one positive Cheesy

He missed 19 games last season due to injury - the end of Allison is near, it was beautiful while it last. His injury records isn't looking good.

Currently the LB and its child boards are okay like this, the only one that may be needed might be service board, but now I haven't seen much thread about rendering services here again, so I think this may be added later on, except others may want it now?.

Not a bad suggestion but Service sub-board is the last thing we need right now. We're not getting that if we're being real to ourselves.

Taking a look at the monthly overview of local boards activity by @Bitmover for the month of September you will see that Nigeria local board is among the top 10 and you can also see the opinion of @Bitmover in this thread Proposal For Naija (Nigeria LB) Sub-Boards Creation

We have the X number of posts but still lacking good number of active posters to have multiple boards.  3 sub-boards is very much OKay for now.

Received and edited as agreed.
6  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [Opinion] Off-topic sub-board - what do you think? on: October 10, 2024, 06:50:06 PM
We may either let the off topic remain as it is and nothing like general discussion board or scrap the off topic board to create a general discussion board, but the two cant exist together, if members support for either of the two, then you may create a poll and we cast our votes.

Poll created - I believe the two covers everything. You raise some important points there. I'm still on the opinion of leaving everything the way they are but I don't want to be the Pinnacle of decision making here.
7  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [Opinion] Off-topic sub-board - what do you think? on: October 10, 2024, 03:40:05 PM
if  i say lets take altcoin discussion , that means we have to either delete or create another board for those topics that are not related to altcoin .

I agree with Marvelockg reply- indirectly answered your suggestions.

The summary is that to encourage active engagement on the local board, we need fewer boards and we just need to work on how to make the ones available to become more active.
8  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [Opinion] Off-topic sub-board - what do you think? on: October 10, 2024, 03:31:13 PM
Hey Igebotz,

I know there have been lot of discussion about board to be included during creation of our local board, I will suggest you either make reference to that topic created by our brother here Agbe (Proposal For Naija (Nigeria LB) Sub-Boards Creation) lot of people contributed the ideal board to be included. If not for time consumption you could have just go through that topic and see what majority points out then send the request to theymos for renaming, that will be more better since your post here has already scared people away by saying if off discussion will be deleted.

I'm aware of that thread, but this is different - it was a requested thread, whereas this is not; I merely created this topic to address current questions and to see if the rest of the community agrees. BTW, we can direct a community discussion to Meta; this is an internal matter.

Quote
Majority of people who are to comment here are already on a paid adverts so they are afraid to post not to be deleted were it would serve as lost to them, for my suggestion that part should be removed to make people post freely so you can see different opinion from people maybe after you go through this topic you can then filter out the most mentioned name and you send to theymos as second option.

Opinion and off-topic are two different things; if that portion scares shit posters or people who only want to write to meet their signature quota, it's a win for the community. If you've been around for a while, you know that I don't moderate opinions, only trash posts.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 10, 2024, 01:46:24 PM
He didn't want to be on the sidelines anymore based in his statements, he wasn't to be more incharge but I still think he'll return back to coaching when he starts to miss it, maybe for the German national team if Julian Nagelsmann was to exit after his contract expires.

Return to management at 57? Probably 60 years after leaving Redbull, when he could just sit in VIP and eat burgers without worrying about training, travelling around the continent scouting potential, and bringing home huge checks to his wife. Internal position is really good for someone of his age; perhaps he might return to Liverpool as something different but not as a coach.

Quote
He doesn't want to admit it that the real stress was having to come short to Pep, I don't know if it's just me but I think Klopp could have done more for Liverpool, yeah he got you guys 1 premier league and champions league but you guys could have won more in this areas, the potential was there but out of no where, everything died off.

The squad was long gone, everyone was getting old and moving abroad with no good replacements, there was nothing left to fight for, and the league would always come down to Arsenal and Citeh. On a serious note.

Must be really hard praising my team week in, week out since the beginning of the season but you don't have a choice do you ?  Grin
Fair is fair, I was covering you dropping the leagues season by season and now I am covering a come back  Grin At least you give me something to write about.

I should thank you - remember when you told me not to chat to you unless I get my shoes dirty and walk all the way from the bottom to the Top before talking about success? Remembered how you twerk about " I moved from the bottom to the top league" thing? Well, I took them personally and intentionally play bad to get relegated season after season so I could start from the bottom. Hope I don't get banned with this little secret.

You changed my club life man, how about you add the "the goat" to the next headlines after I whoop Woodie ass this weekend? At least you owe me that from two seasons ago.

People still picking Alcaraz in September? Haven't you guys had enough of his disappointment already? Moved from 1st to 3rd within few months. He's only getting worse. Glad I went with Sinner  Grin
11  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / [Opinion] Off-topic sub-board - what do you think? on: October 10, 2024, 01:08:54 PM
Hello Community,

I've been thinking about it, and several people have expressed their opinions/suggestions about the off-topic sub-board - some believe it should be renamed General Discussion (which may be a better name), Altcoin Discussion, or something else rather than off-topic. I agree that the off-topic sub-board has served its purpose and is still very important to the local board, but there are topics that do not fall into Politics and Society, Bitcoin-related, or off-topic but were moved to the off-topic sub-board because there was no reason to have them on the main board or Politics and Society, so I'm opening up this thread for further discussion.

If the community requests modifications, I will mention to this thread in any message I write to Theymos. I don't make decisions; I'm only here to serve, so whatever you decide is what I'll pass across.
12  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [CHARTS] Monthly Overview Of Nigeria Local Board📈 Monthly Merit Reward on: October 10, 2024, 12:45:05 PM
Great work Amphenomenon, I just found this thread again. Body sweet me to see my name for one of the top posters, before we get moderator, spam posts been choke for our LB. That thing make many of us commot body for the board. E good as we don get mod now and the board dey clean. I expect to see more merits for this board. I look your stats see say even top I dey post here well well I never get any merit or give others merit for this board. I go try my best to change am this month.

That is not accurate; you received some merits from my spraying gun last month; it is not much, but we all know the state of my current source, and 90% of my source goes on this thread; my personal merits are what go to high rank members like yourself, and I have complete freedom to use it however I see fit. Being a merit source does not limit my capacity to spend my smerits on whatever profile I want. Your reports are greatly appreciated, and they better than those that spam the board with garbage in order to remain relevant. We would be having another merit source soon, I'm working on it.

Keep contributing and you will never go unnoticed, it's a baby step of pain.. most of my recent merit comes from outside of the local board but it doesn't matter. I secure Jobs with my reputation and not X number of merits.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2024/2025 on: October 09, 2024, 11:03:12 PM
I think the writing is on the wall as far as Ten Hag is concerned. It is just a matter of time before he is replaced and at least until a replacement can be found they will put Ruud van Nistelrooy as interim manager. If he does a good job he will probably be offered the job but is that the way forward for a club of that size and stature?

For some reason the rumours about Tuchel just do not go away.

Man, he's not going anywhere. Are you not aware that the club recently paid a whopping £200,000 to build a wall around the club's training facilities to prevent other managers from stealing/watching Erik tactics? I am not a fan of changing managers like nappies. I still believe he should be given more time to rebuild the squad, just as Arteta was after three years of mediocrity.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 09, 2024, 09:53:58 PM
Who knows what new role will exactly be for Klopp, we are just speculating at this point. In any case all Red Bull sponsored teams have much lower expectations and pressure associated than top PL club.

I remeber Klopp complaining about english weather several times and that coupled with pressure was probably enough for him to say good buy to UK part of his life.

Klopp will be advising/supporting sports directors on player transfers, serving as a coach advisor, and scouting talent across Red Bull's network, which will require a lot of travel. It will be a very difficult job for someone who earlier stated that he was tired of managing one club and will now be managing 4. Cheesy

He gave his all for Liverpool, and there was nothing else he could have done if he had stayed. I doubt nobody would ever turn down a Red Bull offer.

Sure, whenever you feel there's something important going on please give us a shout. We scan a lot of stuff but also miss a lot of interesting things as well.

No issue, guy. I know your eyes are too far away from this spot, but don't worry, the Sherrif lives here and will take care of everything for you. Ghana supporters are all on their team's neck: "Lose another home game to a mediocre team, and we will destroy another stadium," is the new trend.

New article is up guys. Give it a read if you are interested
https://sportsbet.io/sports/soccer/news/bitcoin-sports-fanatics-league-season-5-round-9-recap

Have to find a better way to cover mid table teams. All the articles end up about title or relegation battle. Just like in the real life  Grin

16  Other / Meta / Re: Little things that bug you/me about the forum on: October 09, 2024, 01:05:39 PM
Do you guys ignore every shitposter? Why?
Isn't it obvious? I don't want to waste my time reading their posts.

The only downside is that we wouldn't know when a crap poster turned into a really good one if we ignored their profile for too long. It does not always happen, but it happens. I'm not a fan of "Ignore" button
17  Other / Meta / Re: When i choose to change my username on: October 09, 2024, 12:47:28 PM
What will happen to anew user's account if he wishes to change his username after some months in the forum?

The newbie should just register a new account with the preferred username because the chances of this happening are extremely tiny. Arsenal is likely to win the CL title before that happens. Lol

Only respected/reputable members with a strong concern for privacy are granted the privilege of changing their username name. (Reputability is not dependent on X merits; it goes well beyond merit and rank)
18  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Rugged meme coins some naija celebrities have launched this year on: October 08, 2024, 09:20:28 PM
I just want to believe that these celebrities launched those coins for the sake of popularity and probably making some money via advertising and publicity, else, what it takes to launch a big project like launch of a coin is way beyond just making announcements without the necessary arrangements and preparations. The same or let's say similar unpreparedness was faced by the Hamster Kombat project which end up accumulating large community with little performance.

It doesn't cost much to laugh at a shitcoin on a DEX exchange; all you have to do is hire a developer. Davido launched his scam coin with less than $2k, gave a few liquidity, and advertised the entire shit on his social media accounts, attracting others and duping them. All of the coins on the DEX are pump and dump crap. No legitimate project launches on Dex exchanges, only projects with dubious backgrounds.

Anyway, I think the case with Pep Guardiola is same as what you said, except at the part when the recruiting team makes the last decision.  I think Man City's recruiting team or whoever tries to get the players that Guardiola wants.  I mean they have the money and the club is still hungry to etch their place in football history.

And the oilers, Ferran Soriano and Txiki set everything up for Guardiola's arrival.

Some good matches this weekend, of coursse Liverpool vs Chelsea is one of them...  But I'm looking at NUFC vs Brighton, Fulham vs Aston Villa and for the lulz, Man United vs Brentford.  Thomas Frank might walk out of Old Trafford with a point here...

Final decision in financial context - They will most likely try to get whichever player/replacement Pep wants, but they will not go under the knife if the price is not financially feasible to the club. Pep manages the tactical aspects of the game, while the recruitment team manages the financial aspects.  Grin

Lucas Paquetá was one of the player Pep wanted but couldn't get his hands on him.

Looking forward to Slot vs Enzo tactical battle this weekend, a tough test for both managers. A must win game for us surely.

Told you bro - the cro2 team underated me,now we're shooting two birds with one stone, i get promotion, you get your money  Grin
~
I may as well do a Jose Mourinho here - Win the league without any manager of the month award ( freebets)  Grin

Who needs freebets when the title beckons, eh? I always knew you and LFC were too good to languish below forever. Mou money mou problems!

The Cro2 team can keep the award (freebets), but my supporters don't care; we're aiming for something bigger and better, and we'll make history. I knew I wasn't going to stay long in this dirty league, but I made a mistake by playing here in the first place.

Cro2team, may I suggest we have international questions scattered across the entire continent in the future? More than 30 AFCON qualifiers matches are taking place during this break, yet none of them made the cut. The Ghana-Sudan game is a must-win for Ghana and a must-watch game( Ghana supporters aren't smiling. Lol)  Grin

I can help if you need some hints on those games. @Trofo.
