1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where does my friends' money go in this transaction? on: May 03, 2022, 05:58:39 AM
It cannot be uniswap

That's because uniswap doesn't support BSC

That transaction is really BSC

I believe my friend do my limit order on BSC

He told me it's pancake swap. Cancelling order means he got the money back

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where does my friends' money go in this transaction? on: May 02, 2022, 11:11:30 AM

It says that the function is deposit token. What is this?

The contract seems to belong to gelato.

I wonder what my friend is getting after spending $390 BUSD to this contract.

What is he buying?

He said he forget. He put some limit order on a site with powered by gelato. But he forget which site did he put the limit order.

Can we know?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I sent about $1k to a swap and get nothing? on: April 15, 2022, 10:11:33 AM

I think I accidentally invest in beefy instead of buying usdc

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to send money to aurora network metamask from binance? on: April 08, 2022, 02:44:58 PM
There are many chains out there.

Fantom, avalanche, bsc, aurora.

I can send to most of them.

Most of them have uniqe token.

but aurora main token is ETH.

And if I try to withdraw ETH, there is nothing in binance that allows me to use aurora network.

So how do I feel my aurora metamask with money from binance.

Which coins I should buy?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any experienced beefy user here? on: April 08, 2022, 02:43:18 PM
Has there ever been a case where a project rugpull?

So the beefy itself is fine. But the underlying LP is gone.

I know some that become inactive. However, I can always get my money back.

Any case of rugpull?

I know that you can lost money if the token you invest lose values.

But have you ever lost money due to fraud in beefy?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this scam? on: April 08, 2022, 02:32:28 PM
Are you talking about beefy finance? I don't think that's the right link to the platform, you can go on for the original project website and links, here is the beefy finance link on CMC, good luck

Avoid connecting your wallet to any website you can lose all your crypto assets this way.

Yes I am talking about beefy finance.

Beefy finance itself is quite sound

I wonder if pairs it promotes sound too.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is this scam? on: April 08, 2022, 10:19:38 AM

I am just curious.

It's new. APY is high. The interface for adding liquidity is weird. I often got message address not found or something. As if someone create fake coins

I got this message warning:

Error: Error: selectTokenById: Unknown token id FTML for chain fantom, maybe you need to load the addressbook

What does that even mean?

I deposit ftm (instead of lftm). And biffy recognize that anyway.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What does this APR mean in beefy? on: April 08, 2022, 06:51:53 AM

What is

Vault APR

Trading APR

What does it mean?

What is Vault APR and Trading APR?

What is Total APY?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why some stuff in beefy becomes inactive on: April 05, 2022, 08:00:29 AM

What does it mean?

Should I pull out money?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many crypto currencies use the same securities for large transfer and small? on: April 03, 2022, 01:45:52 PM
If it will be based on value, isn't that similar to a bank personnel calling the check issuer for large payments to confirm if it's a legitimate transaction or asking approval from his/her boss before releasing huge withdrawals? It just doesn't sound right especially if we're talking about blockchain.

~ But why not require all signatures to withdraw funds from a smart contract?
Better. Regardless of amount.

Yes. Precisely. Actually that's the common sense. Also bridge is the weakest point of ronin. Withdrawing from bridge should have had more security
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: April 03, 2022, 01:42:16 PM
Not related to bitcoin discussion.

But seeing 19% for a stable coin is the highest that I've seen for an interest account. Nexo offers 10% for its interest account with a stable coin. I don't know that platform of anchor and that's why if I'm going to put it on stake as they say.

I'll choose the platforms that are more reputable like Binance or Nexo and to remind you, you don't hold the keys when you put your crypto/stable coins on that feature. will launch a new savings product soon that gives a really high APY (100%). You can deposit the stablecoins and then Rewards are also paid in stablecoins, not native tokens. It is automated yield optimisations. No effort and always being tweaked to take advantage of the best yield opportunities

A short summary would be:

Supercharged DeFi Savings 100%+ APY + crypto debit card. Tiny market cap and rumours of big partnership with OlympusDao on the way. Strong pair of founders and a growing team and ecosystem. NFTs, web wallet, mobile wallet and so on. Fiat on and off ramps via IBAN.

DYOR, but I think it is a good one!

Nothing says anything about 100% APY
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why many crypto currencies use the same securities for large transfer and small? on: April 01, 2022, 06:31:10 AM
Recently ronin bridge got hacked

So the hacker just stole $600 million.

The reason why the hacker can do that is because ronin bridge requires only 5 out of 9 keys. The hacker got 5.

And the solution is to increase the number of approval requirement to 8.

Here is the problem with that issue.

Someone withdrawing 1 eth and someone withdrawing 200k eth need to be approved by the same number of nodes.

Does that even make sense?

Surely there should be more security for larger amount of money.

In fact, an address should be prevented from receiving say more than 100 ETH per hour unless it has a special permissions, for example.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can defi rugpull? on: March 27, 2022, 11:36:49 AM
I want to put money on beefy and other automatic yield generator.

I wonder if I can lost money due to rugpull?

How likely it is
Before investing your money on the defi platform, it is really wise if you find out first about the reputation of the platform. It's the first time I've heard about beefy. but I really recommend pancakeswap, biswap and apeswap.

What about beefy?.

Is it likely to rugpull?

Actually is it even technically possible? For exmaple, I've heard that there is an Ethereum wallet that are multi sig. The thing is the contract can't be changed and a lot of money stuck there. So can defi be like that?
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can we buy insurance in crypto? on: March 27, 2022, 11:34:27 AM
That's one aspect of insurance problem.

Namely moral hazard.

Yap it's scammy.

Insurance is a scam, why would you want to partake in a scam?

I agree.

But if the claim ratio is reasonable, then it may make some people happy.

Why do you think it's a scam again? In Indonesia, claim ratio is too low. Like only 3-15% of money used to pay stuffs. The rest go to agents and shit. In Singapore I don't think so.

18  Other / Off-topic / Is this link save? on: March 17, 2022, 10:43:44 AM
Someone spread this link to my whatsapp group

I wonder if the link is save. Can we get hacked by just following a link in webbrowser?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What are the alternartives of Beefy and which one is best? on: March 11, 2022, 08:27:08 AM

Beefy automatically restake what we invest in.

That's kind of convenient. I am kind of tired to restake ron in axie katana.

I wonder if there are other alternatives besides beefy

Also anything I can do to automate my katana lp?

For example, I saw

But deposit fee is 4% which is kind of stiff. Few people use it. Is it "good"?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: In Beefy, do you have to manually, and periodically, reinvest? on: March 04, 2022, 08:17:10 AM
You should move this on Altcoin Section, either discussion or services,  Beefy is a yield farming optimizer meaning they are increasing your APY by optimizing your profit through auto compounding your staked tokens on LP. All vaults on Beefy has an auto compound feature because this there main feature that typical AMM exchange doesn't have.

So answer on your is a big YES,  Your staking profit is auto reinvest in a certain time interval, You can check beefy docs for the exact time which they reinvest your profit.

Anything else like Beefy?

Wow. I am very interested.
