141  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a new crypto exchange take a place in the market? on: February 05, 2019, 05:00:05 PM
Now there are many different exchanges and it is very difficult to compete with them. In order for the exchange to become popular, it needs to offer something new, unusual and useful to users of the exchange in order to stand out among its competitors. Otherwise, there is no point in launching another crypto exchange, which will be exactly the same as a hundred other similar exchanges.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC defeated in 2019? on: February 05, 2019, 04:35:01 PM
Not only Bitcoin is in a difficult situation now, other crypto currencies have fallen in the same way, so I doubt that in a falling crypto market any coin can outrun Bitcoin and take its place. By the popularity and prevalence of Bitcoin, perhaps no other coin can ever get ahead.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think the market needs to get back on track?! on: November 23, 2018, 05:12:46 PM
Now is a difficult time for any project, especially for a new one. But I believe that only a few projects really benefit the crypto industry and most projects profit from market growth, so now they are waiting for the market to stagnate and extend the Crowdsale period of their tokens while waiting for market growth.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, don't panic! Look at this! on: November 23, 2018, 04:29:49 PM
I gotta say it really makes me feel better Smiley. But I still think that stocks and cryptos should not be compared, at least not yet. Companies work a bit differently than cryptos and 'cause of that the money "behaves" a little more predictably. You cannot say the same about cryptocurrencies.
I think that you are right that the crypto industry exists and develops according to other rules and laws, unlike the stock market of such campaigns as Amazon, Cisco, Yahoo and other major campaigns. Although I believe that the development of technology blockchain and cryptocurrencies is similar to the development of the Internet in the nineties of the last century.
146  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 2038 year problem: does it have an impact on bitcoin? on: November 22, 2018, 05:10:39 PM
FWIW, something that can have a simple solution is not a problem. when you see 1542862977 we all agree that it represents "Thursday, November 22, 2018 5:02:57 AM". but also we can all agree that it represents "Thursday, November 22, 2118 5:02:57 AM". in other words a simple condition can fix the problem:
Code:
if (block_height > 5,100,000) then Add100Years
5.1 mil is the approximate number of blocks in 88 years from now (in 2106)
This is cool, I did not think that a solution to this problem would be found so quickly. When I read that Bitcoin might face the problem of 2038, it began to get a little nervous, but now I understand that not everything is as bad as it seems at first glance.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: WORLD CRISIS IN 2018 on: November 22, 2018, 04:35:27 PM
I read that the global crisis is likely to be around the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020. Experts at investment bank JPMorgan believe that the next global financial crisis will begin in 2020. This article provides an argument for this version:

148  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: November 21, 2018, 02:40:52 PM
In fact, you can not base your opinion on people's interest in Bitcoin on data on the number of Bitcoin ATMs in a country, because in less economically developed countries people also use Bitcoin and in some cases no less than, for example, USA or Canada, in which ATM's are more than other countries. Many people use Bitcoin only on the Internet and have never used Bitcoin ATM ever. Moreover, this schedule would be more correct to do, for example, indicating the ratio of Bitcoin ATM to the country's population, because the USA population has 325 million people, and in Austria there are 8.7 million people. It turns out in the USA 1 Bitcoin ATM for 586 thousand people. In Austria, exactly the same indicator - 1 Bitcoin ATM for 580 thousand people.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is looking all red once again on: November 21, 2018, 09:49:39 AM
This is the best timing to buy cryptocurrencies which have low prices or value and wait for the mean time to its price to become high again. Hodling is the key. Perfect chance to invest your money with almost all alts and cryptos are mostly red from the market.
I also think that now is a good time to increase the volume of my crypto portfolio in anticipation of the recovery and growth of the crypto market. Especially if each of us acquires additional coins, we can thereby help reduce the negative consequences associated with the fall that we see now.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH @ 158 USD on: November 19, 2018, 11:11:43 AM
Now many people are in a pessimistic mood, this is natural, because it is not clear to the end what is happening and when the fall will end. But I am sure that this is a temporary drop and still prices will start to rise, because we all know that the SEC understands the need and benefit of adopting regulations for the regulation and legalization of cryptocurrencies and it is only a matter of time.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy back every thing on: November 18, 2018, 12:44:56 PM
It seems that prices will not fall and this fall will be the birth of price increases, but I believe that the market will continue to work and this year we should not wait for growth. Although I believe in cryptocurrencies, so I take the opportunity and buy Bitcoin and altcoins for the money that I get paid for my main job.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 18, 2018, 11:52:13 AM
I am also ready to pay for cryptocurrencies in stores and various organizations, I have a multi currency wallet with different cryptocurrencies on my phone, but the problem is that in my city there is no place to pay for cryptocurrencies, only on the Internet you can buy something for yourself.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 17, 2018, 01:43:23 PM
A good example of the fact that everything in this world is relative and everything depends on how you look at the situation. But throughout 2018, the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is gradually falling and it’s hard to argue with this, so many of us are in a pessimistic mood. Let's hope that this is the minimum price of Bitcoin and it will continue to grow.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: November 17, 2018, 10:43:05 AM
Communicating with different entrepreneurs, I see their interest in crypto, but price instability, lack of sufficient knowledge about the functioning of cryptocurrency, stop them from starting to accept Bitcoin and altcoins. But every day I see more and more organizations that accept Bitcoin as payment and this gives me optimism about cryptocurrency.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 16, 2018, 10:15:27 AM
I think it's not right to compare Bitcoin with such coins as XLM and XRP, because Bitcoin is a completely decentralized coin that no one controls, and XRP is not even a cryptocurrency, because it is a coin that is completely centralized by the Ripple team and naturally that the team can influence the price of their coin the way they want it and how it benefits them. XLM is a decentralized coin embedded in the Stellar network, but since the Stellar network does not use mining, all the coins are available when the network starts. The holder of most of them is the non-profit organization Stellar.org that allows it to influence the XLM price by adjusting the supply and demand of the coin.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: November 16, 2018, 09:25:37 AM
We need to talk more about Bitcoin and crypto currencies, their convenience and advantages, as well as use them in everyday life as often as possible and, if possible, replace Fiat payments with Bitcoin payments. It is a pity that there are still so few places accepting Bitcoin. Perhaps we need to open our own online Bitcoin payment stores, platforms for exchanging digital goods with Bitcoin payments and many other Bitcoin payment services.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the older generation. on: November 15, 2018, 10:23:43 AM
Bitcoin will gradually be used in all areas in which Bitcoin should be applied. Perhaps this process would move faster if the adult generation were more open to adopting new technologies. Only thanks to the younger generation and enthusiasm, Bitcoin has become what it is now.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for the bull market!!! on: November 15, 2018, 09:32:41 AM
Bitcoin kept around $6,500 for quite a long time, it seemed that it was its bottom, but the price of Bitcoin dropped below $5,800, which means that prices may further fall to this level and below. I am afraid that the beginning of the recovery of the market after this fall will drag on indefinitely.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that 99% of all airdrops are shitcoins of bad projects ? on: November 14, 2018, 04:32:11 PM
Not all airdrops are shitcoins, deeponion was airdropped and there is a solid development team pushing it forward, new exchanges and features coming out all the time. Most airdrops though are just a waste of time, choose carefully.
I also think that there is a lot of scam among all Airdrops and you need to carefully select a project, if this is a promising project or some fairly well-known project, then you can participate and get some tokens of this project, which over time can be sold more expensive. But mostly profits from Airdrop are very low and I rarely participate in them.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: November 14, 2018, 09:05:59 AM
If we all devote more time to study projects in which we invest and which we advertise, we will reduce the number of low-quality and hopeless projects and there will be fewer useless coins on the market because they will die without being born.
