241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the "NEW" Ethereum Arrive? on: August 05, 2018, 02:06:33 PM
I think that the situation with Ethereum will be the same as with Bitcoin. Many different teams claim that their coin will replace Ethereum, but in the end we see that no one has approached Ethereum and has become as popular, even those coins that have the best technical characteristics.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin alternatives in 2018 on: August 04, 2018, 09:01:02 AM
Bitcoin will remain the most reliable currency this year. Ethereum isn't very confident in the market this year and I think that it will not show good growth in the near future.
This year is not good for old coins like BTC and ETH, it's the year of new platform like EOS or exchange coins like BNB
If you look at the price chart of EOS, then it has already fallen a whole quarter. Yes, this year should have been favorable for launching platforms and new projects, but these were only assumptions, and in fact Bitcoin proves to be more stable than altcoins. In addition, the percentage of Bitcoin's dominance is growing, which speaks in favor of Bitcoin.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: August 02, 2018, 04:44:44 PM
I think that's a good sign. Although it fell again. At least it is a signal to arouse confidence in the Crypto market for us. Let's believe it and make it grow stronger!
The fall of the market has dragged on for a long time and it's a little disappointing. All crypto investors are waiting for the market to return to a full bull trend, but what is happening on the market now is the banal manipulation of prices and manipulation of public opinion.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: August 01, 2018, 02:47:09 PM
there is a possibilty that every coin has a potential to beat bitcoin in the future but one for sure that it is very hard to overtake for what is popular and very known to every people. bitcoin is the king and foundation of all cryptocurrencies.
It's true, Bitcoin now has no competitors and I doubt that any coin can take the place of Bitcoin. It is possible to draw an analogy with automobile brands, Mercedes is better than a car brand in Europe, although it has worthy competitors in the form of Audi and BMW for many years, but they still remain behind Mercedes.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: July 31, 2018, 04:48:18 PM
In my opinion, the safe long term investment would be in Ethereum, NEO, Monero, Litecoin. These coins have a strong potential to give you good ROI.
I agree with your choice and I also prefer these coins from your list, because I think if they have been growing all the time of their long existence, then the chance that they will grow further far higher than other coins that are younger.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 46% of last year's ICOs have failed already on: July 31, 2018, 03:01:01 PM
It is true that this type of news makes it seem that everything is wrong in the ICOs, and that people should refrain from investing in this business scheme. However all these critics seem to forget that in real life, business and all kinds of ventures do not have better luck. In fact, it seems to me that the failure rate in the first two years of opening a business is even much higher than the 46% you mention. It is true that we must be very cautious when it comes to investing in ICOs, but this principle is applicable to all current business schemes.
The situation with traditional business is really complicated, especially if business is opened in those niches in which there is a high level of competition. I agree that ICO is similar to traditional business, but it has more risks, greater dynamics and more earnings. The high risk of investing in the ICO justifies high earnings.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: July 30, 2018, 05:30:35 PM
Bitcoin can't be a global currency due to price volatility reasons every time prices changes so it is difficult to select one price for merchants to accept
Yes, Bitcoin has some disadvantages, but if the countries agreed to use Bitcoin as a global currency, its price would grow and it would have less volatility than it is now. In this regard, all other coins, goods and services would be tied to the price of Bitcoin, and not to the dollar as of now.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: July 29, 2018, 08:04:28 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
A year has passed since the publication of this post, and Waves still does not even approach Ethereum. I remember people saying that Waves at the end of this year will cost $100, but I'm increasingly doubting it, because Waves is slowly developing. And it will not surpass Ethereum, because Ethereum has a much larger community and stronger team than Waves.

250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: July 17, 2018, 04:17:57 PM
On this platform really, there are cases that do not pay the participants for their work, but the problem is not the platform itself, and the projects themselves, who do not pay for various reasons. I know many people who have successfully taken part there, and they get paid for their work, they have a responsive team and active admins Telegram in their group, but no one is immune from the ICO team of fraud or such legal or technical problems that they face.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you search for ICO agencies? on: July 16, 2018, 06:08:37 PM
Recently, there are many ICOs that are not professionally organized, marketing, brand recognition suffers, and of course even a Soft Cap with great difficulty turns out to be collected. If they used agency services more often, then there would be fewer mistakes and more successful projects. I think that your article will be useful to those who plan to organize the ICO.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRESALE]🔥CONNECTY🔥 The blockchain of knowledge and innovation on: July 13, 2018, 06:03:21 PM
You can now discover the Connecty project on the Bitcoinwiki website:
https://en.bitcoinwiki.org/wiki/Connecty
The fact that the Connecty project has been placed on Bitcoinwiki is a good indication that the project is really done by professionals and this means that the project deserves attention and that it begins to study and monitor its development.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Growth of the cryptocurrency after adding to the exchanges! on: July 13, 2018, 05:23:15 PM
When known and formed coins go to new exchanges, their price grows, it's true. Even the news that the coin is planned to go to another exchange may provoke an increase in its price. This often refers to known coins with a large community, but those coins that just ended with ICO and the coin goes to the first exchange, it is likely that the price will immediately begin to fall and may reach the bottom if the team does not support the price of its coin even at an average level. Perhaps this is partly because early investors sell coins bought with a high bonus at an early stage, thereby dumping prices. If the project is really promising, then the stock market may be upside-down, it is advisable to sell the coins at that moment in order to purchase them later during the correction, but I could not cope with the jump and sell at the peak of the price, there was always someone who did it earlier than me.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency will recover for this kind of crisis for its value? on: July 12, 2018, 03:01:55 PM
I think it's too early to talk about something unambiguously and to say something, because no one knows what will happen tomorrow. Some "experts" predict great growth and other "experts" predict the death of Bitcoin, but I'm optimistic and I advise you to read the article, the link to which I will leave below. Before August 10, it is not clear how the prices for Bitcoin and altcoins will move.

256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Achain [ACT] ready for take off ? Easy x5-10 on: July 11, 2018, 08:19:34 PM
Achain is really a promising platform, I have tokens based on Achain and similar tokens become larger, which means that Achain is developing rapidly and will eventually become more popular. The Asian market, in fact, is quite large and if the Achain team manages to move forward at the same pace as now, it can become an "Asian Ethereum".
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy Coin of 2018? on: July 11, 2018, 06:48:20 PM
Private coins are becoming very popular and I think that in 2018 new coins of this kind will appear. And I'm not afraid to invest in such coins because I'm sure that interest in them will not be lost. Among all private coins I prefer Zсash and Monero.
Perhaps Zcash and Monero are now quite worthwhile, and many may think that these two coins have reached their potential, but this is not true, because this year the demand for anonymous cryptocurrencies really increased, and Zcash and Monero today have a large growth potential. Assuming that the money that is kept in accounts in offshore banks will begin to pass into anonymous cryptocurrencies, we can only imagine how much the price of Zcash, Monero, Verge will rise.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: July 09, 2018, 04:31:47 PM
Because people see cryptocurrencies as a chance to earn money and it is not strange, considering how many people have been able to earn on cryptocurrencies.
It's true and it seems to me that it is the ability to earn money quickly pushes people into crypto. The problem is that now we see a prolonged drop in prices for all cryptocurrencies precisely because many people at the end of 2017 without thinking, without delving into the meaning of cryptocurrencies, without going into the blockchain technology on which cryptocurrencies are based sold their property and invested in cryptocurrency, and after the prices began to correct they began to panic and sell the coins they had bought, which pushed the price even lower.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: July 09, 2018, 04:08:18 PM
I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.
I see that many advise for beginners to use such exchanges as IDEX, Etherdelta, Forkdelta and others, but the fact is that these are decentralized exchanges for trading ERC20 tokens and using them you can not make a deposit of USD or another Fiat currency and on these exchanges there are no trading pairs USD/token*. I do not advise Yobit to use it, it has a very dashing reputation and this is not groundless. You can start with the https://exmo.com exchange, because it is the most convenient, works without problems, the support service responds quickly enough. You need to undergo verification and confirm your identity, after which you will be able to deposit EUR, USD and other currencies, then buy coins and trade them.
I agree, I also like EXMO, I have never encountered problems related to the withdrawal, the transfer of funds or something else. But you can also trade on those exchanges that do not have trading pairs USD/BTC, LTC, ZEC, ETH, for this you can use the Bitcoin purchase services, then transfer it to the exchange and trade for example in BTC/ETH, BTC/ZEC, BTC/LTC and others. In this case, you will not be tied to Fiat money, because everything goes to the fact that Bitcoin will gradually replace Fiat.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: July 08, 2018, 06:31:25 PM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
Often it happens that the death of something one is the birth of something else. Based on this definition, it can be assumed that ICOs do not necessarily have to die. ICO is one of the forms of venture capital investment, it is more likely that ICO will change its form, shape, structure. Yes, it will be something completely different, but the essence will remain the same - fundraising for the realization of an interesting and useful idea.
