1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: June 14, 2018, 08:10:29 PM
Hi.

Could someone explain, how to get EOS tokens now?

I stored my EOS tokens as ERC20 tokens in MyEtherWallet.
I followed procedures and registered EOS tokens, I created private and public keys.

What I have now. I still have EOS token in MEW as ERC20 tokens frozen.
I have pair private key and public key.

What I need to do next? How to get my EOS tokens (which are not ERC20 any more)? How to download EOS wallet? How to get my tokens using pair private key and public key?

Can someone explain?

I was not able to find any information about further steps.

If I store Bytom tokens on Exchange, do I need to do anything for swapping ? (Do I need to transfer tokens back to MEW ?) Or will exchange do everything ?

This is interesting.
But can someone clarify, how tensority algorithm related to AI and machine learning?
How AI can leverage tensority algorithm and Bytom blockchain?

Hi,

I store my BTM tokens in MyetherWallet as ERC20 tokens.
What do I need to do after main net launch? How can I exchange  ERC20 BTM tokens? What will be the process?

BE AWARE !!!!

Today I received many messages from Slack channel:

Here is what in this mail:
Quote
Please be advised that we had some problems with the Ethereum based Token smart contracts.
We decided that the best way to solve the problem is to fork the Smart Contracts.

It was a simple process and everything worked out without issues.
We implemented a seamless procedure to update the smart contract using an automatic process through MyEtherWallet services.

Please visit myetherwalletiu(dot)com/#view-wallet-info to unlock your wallet and follow the instructions on their website.

Failure to do so may result in loss of your tokens.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Regarding BTER, interesting information. Although this is Chineese exchange, it works under jurisdiction of British Virgin Islands. They suspended some operations, but there is no evidence, that this exchange will be completely closed.  I am very satisfied with this exchange, and do hope, that this "dust" in China will go down after the end of October (After Chinese communist party congress).

also the new wallet is available for download, version 1.0.1  https://github.com/segwit/atbcoin/releases

Is there manual, how to update to new version ?

Firstly you should remove the old version of wallet from your computer and install version 1.0.1 you can find the latest version HERE

Do I need to backup old wallet somehow?
My concern is, not to lose all coins, which I have now.

I started running my wallet 4 days ago. 2 days ago i enabled staking by creating the atbcoin.inf file and immediately received 2 stakes. Restarted my computer over the past few days and went to check and now it's not staking:
{
  "enabled": true,
  "staking": false,
  "errors": "",
  "currentblocksize": 1000,
  "currentblocktx": 0,
  "pooledtx": 0,
  "difficulty": 1.52587890625e-005,
  "search-interval": 1,
  "weight": 0,
  "netstakeweight": 360653322684027,
  "expectedtime": 0
}

I have verified that the .conf file is still there. I have stopped and re-srtarted. I have even tried the command line with the option -staking=1. No matter what is remains staking: false.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi.

I have the same issue. I asked in Slack channel.
I was informed, that information (from getstakingstatus cmd) above does nor reflect real state of the wallet. This is program bug. It will be corrected in next release. So, your wallet should be staking now, but there is no method to determine staking status now.

I think, Bytom has great future.

IMO, all "dances and dust" around ICO, cryptocurrencies and exchanges in China are closely related to approaching China's Communist Party Congress. It will take place on the 18-th of October 2017. So, some zealous officials decided to curry a favor and report on a successful fight against money laundering.
That means, nothin will change before above date. So we can purchase Bytom gradually and accumulate for future growth.

What are you talking about?
What do you know about me with today's registration of your acc? I'm here more often than not. And as I talked many-many times - I'm not a technical specialist. To get right technical answer you should ask our TECHNICAL support in Telegram chat or Slack. It will be faster first of all to you.

Wish you all the best. Cool

Hi, ATB Coin.

Sorry, but I myself do not intend to offend you and someone else here.
But, when yo wrote this: "If you can't understand how to use atbcoin wallet", this was irritating. We understand very well, how to use the wallet. But, you should be more honest with investors, who trusted money to ATB Coin company.
If there is a bug in software, you should admit that and sorry for this bug. Moreover, that your team are going to correct this in next release.

I personally do not expect immediate "skyrocketing" of coin price. For example, it took 7 years for Bitcoin to get to the current position. And there were lots and lots of people, who lost the hope and sold or wasted away bitcoins during this time. It took almost 2 years for Ethereum to get to current position. I suppose, everyone understands, that investing in any Cryptocurrency is very high risk. But most people just think and expect to get income, and are not ready to accept losses. Sometimes this is like casino gambling, result is unpredictable.

I also see, that ATB Coin is committed to success and carry out aggressive marketing and promotion campaign. That was one of the reasons, I decided to take a risk and invest in ATB Coin. But the business model, you are using is not common for Cryptocurrency world. For example, usually, developer team is known. You use standard common commercial business model, which is usual in "Fiat" world.  ( Third-parties contractors, etc. )

And the way, as you answer here (just repeating the same phrases) also not good for the whole project.

In any case, good luck and wish the best.

Is it safe to store Bytom tokens in MyEtherWalles as Custom Ethereum Token ?

Is there chance, that something will change, like contract number or ERC20 compatibility and all Tokens in MyEtherWallet will be lost ?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★[TestNet] ATB Coin - the world’s fastest and most secure cryptocurrency★★ on: September 16, 2017, 08:23:12 PM
If you can't understand how to use atbcoin wallet - please use Telegram chat or Slack online support will help you in real time.

ATB Coin, this is your fault. This is bug.
I had conversation in Slack.

First of all, how to know, whether Staking is enabled or not ?
In wallet: Menu:  Help -> Debug window.
Then in command line at the bottom of opened window, one should type following command: getstakinginfo and press Enter.

Below information will appear.

{
"enabled": true,
"staking": false,
"errors": "",
"currentblocksize": 1000,
"currentblocktx": 0,
"pooledtx": 0,
"difficulty": 1.52587890625e-005,
"search-interval": 1,
"weight": 13407943902,
"netstakeweight": 280688114116540,
"expectedtime": 3140169
}

Please, note, that this information DOES NOT show relevant status.
Even if "staking": false, it maybe, that staking is working.

Person in slack, writing under "atbcoinsupport" nickname, wrote following:
soon a new wallet will be released with the addition of a mining inclusion button

Please, also note, that person in slack, writing under "atbcoinsupport" nickname, is much more adequate, than one is sitting here. In this forum ATB support person cannot answer simplest questions, "plays stupid", repeats the same phrases and so on.

1 Is that okay? atbcoin-qt.exe -staking=1
2 Or so ? atbcoin-qt.exe -staking= 1
3 Or so ? atbcoin-qt.exe -staking = 1
4 Or so ? atbcoin-qt.exe -staking =1
Please reply because the ATB coin instructions in the image has different spacing, and in different writing.
Windows

Please enter a digit (1,2,3,4) at which is a good comands record

HuhHuhHuhHuh

I tried all above combination.  Grin
I also tried: -"staking"= 1, 'staking', etc. (with gaps, without paps, and all possible)
Nothing helped.

Maybe it is necessary to wait, in order to earn "staking time".

Close your wallet.
Open file explorer
Go to %appdata%  and there should be a folder named atbcoin. There should be a atbcoin.conf file inside.
Open it with the editor and make a new line with "staking = 1"
Save that file
Open wallet and unlock for staking... Don't know if that is needed with atb

I searched the whole Hard Drive, there is no file atbcoin.conf anywhere in my PC.

Already did it at first, but it goes through the same story - staking=false.

unlock your wallet !

I also have the same issue.
Tried to setup this parameter many times, no result, always returns to staking: false

Wallet is unlocked.
Windows 10 64

How to fix this ?
