461  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian naira hits record black market low of 1,100 per dollar on: October 26, 2023, 01:18:14 AM
Nigeria's naira hit a record low of 1,100 per dollar on the black market on Wednesday, online platform abokiFX showed, a day after the currency hit a new low on the official market due to persistent dollar shortages.

It's very frustrating seeing this happening in this trying times, things are getting worse everyday and the current government aren't doing anything effective to fight the fall of the Naira. The government don't care because they mostly have their wealths and investment in foreign currencies. It's the masses that are suffering and things aren't going to change because the election system is rigged. The next coming president will still be won by the highest bidder and nothing can be done about it. I'm not surprised about the continuous fall of the naira because I always knew the naira has always been subsidize just like fuel in the country and immediately the subsidy are been lifted hings will get out of hand. The devaluation of naira is the the number one reason why we Nigerian are investing into Bitcoin to give us some security against our wealth losing value.

I don't know much about the Nigerian economy, but there are certain reasons and wrong economic policies that lead to such a continuous decline of the Nigerian naira against the US dollar.

Bad government that's just the problem, it's the bad governance gives room for more corruption and the unprogressive nature of the country. We are just consuming over here which doesn't add to the economical strength of the country and the politicians are doing this on purpose. They keep borrowings to consume and not to produce and this is putting the country into debts. Things are quite worse than it's been reported. The rate been reported is not even what it's been sold as the scarcity of the dollars is making the local vendor set their own prices and as our economy is dependent on the dollar rate, jt affects everything in the economy starting from fuel to our daily foodstuffs.

463  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: how far we would have gone without CEX in our bitcoin in Nigeria on: October 25, 2023, 04:14:23 AM
Question:
Aside all the dangers on these exchanges, there have been really helpful to us, How do think Nigeria would have gone in our bitcoin adoption without CEX and also how bad would be the scamming rate on p2p ?

I guess we'll never know quoting Kanye west Grammy winning speech . Before anything become a success, there's always a trying or I'll say failure stages but they always progress pass that stages. Bitcoin would had still succeeded without CEX. CEX only made the adoption faster and na the same thing wey happen for Nigeria be dat. Truly the CEX dem make everything easier and safer but at what cost, our privacy? not enjoying true decentralization wey Bitcoin promised? Most Nigerian aren't using Bitcoin in a decentralized manner, dat's why we can't relate well when people dey discuss all those talk wey focus for dat side and na dat one wey you go dey call better adoption? What's the difference between using our local banks and using Binance exchange? When you use both you're still using a centralized third party so no difference. Same thing wey your banks fit do you na wetin all those CEX exchange go still fit do you so although they made it a little bit safer but they took away the privilege to enjoy real decentralization.

You never noticed say dApp no dey get better wave for the country na so so centralized service full everywhere. If this CEX no be dey e for bring about innovative minds to work on dApp for the country and maybe we for dun put our names on the map in the crypto space. Wetin we dun fit achieve na for  dem to see us as consumers and not producers because na dem dey create everything and give us to consume. See as Binance exchange dey dominate everywhere you think say any better start-up wey dey decentralized fit get weight for the country. Centralized service is taking us backwards instead of progressing us forward for this crypto industry. I appreciate all they did but I think the industry would have been better without them.
464  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tip for detecting a fake transfer in p2p trade on: October 25, 2023, 02:38:12 AM
Newbies, anytime unah dey carry out P2P trade for centralized exchange like Binance make unah dey read transfer description way bank go send as a text message for phone to know the name of the bank the buyer used to make payment, and to know if the bank dey operates for Naija because e get one app way scammers dey buy from dark web, the name of the app na "PROBANK". Scammers dey use this PROBANK to send people fake transfers.

This one na very wrong way to dey verify if you dun receive money from any business wey you dey do weather na P2P or any business wey go involve your verifying payment. No dey rely on sms but check the transaction yourself directly from your bank app. Even though you get Nokia touch light, we have banks codes that can be used to verify weather you dun receive the money or not. No even believe sms wey come from your bank because men dey work dat one too. With bulk sms messages headers can be customized to look like those coming from your banks so no dey use that means dey use verify money. Also just because person send money with bank wey no dey Nigeria no mean say the person na scammers. We have many banks wey dey do international transaction and men wey dey do this P2P business dem plenty outside the country as they get more enlightened when they go oversees and dem go get enough opportunity to make dem get better revenue to dey use run the business.

Quote
How to know say the transfer na fake?
Make unah no dey use phone way no fit download the banking app of bank way you dey bank with to receive alert. Anytime person pays you through transfer and you see the alert make sure you log in to your banking app to confirm say the payment na legit payment before you go release your asset to the buyer to avoid I been see the transfer alert for phone.

Correct and also dey use mostly microfinance banks like dem Opay dem to dey do P2P, no go dey use our local banks because those people go us network delay take frustrate you. E better you use this microfinance banks because immediately person send you funds you go receive am for the app and dem dey hardly get network issue and no be our banks wey he say dem dun receive the money but to credit your account so you fit verify the payment na war. Scammers dey everywhere dey find new ways to defraud us so we need dey careful or na we go fall mugu.
465  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin gives hope. on: October 25, 2023, 02:03:14 AM
Bitcoin changed everything ooo, Bitcoin give us hope say tomorrow fit better, bitcoin give us opportunity to fit dey invest the small small money we dey get into bitcoin to fit make more tomorrow. Bitcoin give us hope for this our tight country.

Wetin you think? Without investment opportunity for bitcoins, how e for be?

Man for still survive, I dey appreciate within Bitcoin do for us but one thing is certain, Nigerian no dey carry last we for still survive without Bitcoin. The thing wey Bitcoin do na to make am easy for the hustle to dey pay. This forum earnings different from Bitcoin earners so make we no dey compare the two because many people never chop self from Bitcoin when you reason am as na from hand to mount wey dem dey chop for the forum. How many of us dey  truly invest for Bitcoin, how many of us dey trade or how many of us dey do flipping of altcoins or nft and so on. How many of us they earn directly from associating with the cryptocurency industry wey no be signature marketing for this forum. We never dey explore the opportunity wey full this industry.

Bitcoin gives us hope no be lie but many of us no even dey use the hope well, Bitcoin made it easier to make money as if you learn well you fit become millionaire from trading. $1 is now worth more than #1k for naira and if we hustle well to get $1k wey be #1 million Naira no too hard for the industry as dat one mean say to make more come easy because of Bitcoin. Without Bitcoin e for dey hard to dey make money wey go make you dey live better alright life because this other opportunities wey dey no too get better profits like when you Invest for not only Bitcoin but for the whole cryptocurency industry.
466  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. on: October 24, 2023, 12:37:50 PM
The consequence of your guideline and using me as an example of this false label of hypocrisy is that you have no one who is incentivized to think objectively and against the unhealthy gambling nature in that board.

You're promoting a gambling site through your signature which means you have to be writing on the gambling board, there's a request for a merit source for the board that'll obviously increase the post quality of the board as member try to write better to increase their chances of been merited but no, you opposed because you enjoy the spam going on on the board as it helps you complete your post count and gets you paid with the excuse that you want to take the money the casinos for yourself (that it's better with you than with them). This just goes to show your true nature, you say the casino are scamming the gamblers then why don't you fight against that by not having anything to do with the gambling sites but guess you can't do without the signature payouts which just makes you a hypocrite and a perfect example to the second point of this thread.

This might be the last respond you get from me because I can see you aren't adding any valuable discussion to this thread and I won't do you the honors of giving you more reason to fish for your weekly post on this thread. People found this thread useful that's why they resurrected it, I don't know who did that but thank you for that. Again I said you mightn't find the thread valuable to you but your stupidity can't be forced on others. We have those that'll find the thread useful and those are the targeted audience not a hypocrite just chasing after money without any moral values.

@CryptopreneuerBrainboss a very interesting topic and as i have seen there are already two translations with the indonesian and filipino. i have now published this thread in the AOBT thread and asked that all aobt members translate it then in the respective languages
467  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Something dangerous we do when using Binance P2P platform on: October 24, 2023, 12:12:32 PM
I am starting to believe that this is possible, not even by a professional hacker but a small time thieves, you want to know why I said this? I have been using Binance exchange and also the service they provide through their P2P, and I always see buyers telling sellers to drop their mobile number or else they won't go ahead with the transaction.

Don't trade with this merchant or if you must don't drop your phone number to them, not a big fan of Binance exchange (centralized exchange) but I'm sure there's a reason Binance Exchange removing the phone number features on their CEX P2P platform because of I can remember correctly, they had those there before. If you received your funds and are fast to confirm on the platform there'll be no need for communication outside Binance. Scammers can use your number for various scam like sending you messages pretending to be your bank or Binance saying you have received your deposit and asking you to confirm. They could also send you malicious links and hack your exchange account or other sites relating to cryptocurrency.

There are many marchant available so when you don't feel comfortable with one you can move on to another marchant by asking the previous marchant to cancel the trade or you allow the trade to cancel on its own. If your phone numbers get into the hands of wrong people they can cause you harm online or physically. Don't exchange contact with strangers that you meet online because you don't know what they might use that information to do. They can also clone your number and use them in scamming that'll point back to you without having any idea and yet you pay for the crime if you don't have a strong counter defends.
468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First bull run - how to not sell too early? on: October 24, 2023, 11:48:16 AM
Next year will hopefully be the start of the bull run and it will be first for me so just wondering if anyone has any advice/tips on how avoid the temptation and not sell too early?

Well we don't know what your target is for the bull market and what price you're expecting to take profits so our advices will be based on what will be doing ourselves and not you. Just take some tips from us and come up with a strategy of yours. To begin my tips I'll say, don't believe any prediction you see online. People mostly speculate based on how it favors them and not the public, we still have those speculating the bottom of the market to be $15k and they could be right or wrong but from the looks of the market it seems we have already tasted the bottom of the bear market. This is the same way people will be speculating an unrealistic price when the bull market starts but don't listen to them.

If you're good with charts you can interpret the market yourself but if you're not good then you can sell when you're in profits. To me it doesn't really matter which price you sell but if you're in profits then you had a successful trade. There'll always be more opportunities to make more profits in the future when you reinvest but if you're still not certain on selling then continue holding and wait for the future because there's going to more profits from where the price increase is coming from. Also you can have other Bitcoin that you can sell for profits when the market has given you enough gains and then have other stash of Bitcoin for long term holding.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My little research. on: October 24, 2023, 08:00:27 AM
I have done a little research about Bitcoin and why some governments refuse to accept Bitcoin in their own country even when they know that they are in power to make the most important citizens in their country access it and take advantage of it, and it wonders me a little.

You don't have to wonder anymore because the government knows exactly what they're doing, they're not accepting Bitcoin because they don't understand it but there are doing so because they understand the power that Bitcoin holds. Accepting Bitcoin means they'll be giving up all the power they have in controlling the financial aspect of their citizens life. Bitcoin gives privacy and full control to who is in control of the Bitcoin and not a centralized body like the government. Bitcoin is a calculated risk investment, you're not investing in a scam or high risk investment that can make you lose if you just buy and hodl some Bitcoin. Bitcoin risk is calculated but people are yet to understand that, investing in altcoins that's when you're taking an uncalculated risk because their future isn't guarantee as nobody knows the future of any altcoin but the future of Bitcoin is almost certain that the price will be greater than its current price.

Quote
I have a little business that I am doing so far, and I would like to accept Bitcoin in my business, but I don't have enough ideas about Bitcoin. That's why I want to learn more, but truth be told, it's good to practice while learning. While learning about Bitcoin, I will have to practice it little by little with the little money that I can afford.

If you want to accept Bitcoin for your business, you don't need much research as all that's needed is to have a wallet and get your Bitcoin address out to your customers. You only need need the knowledge of getting your Bitcoin address and confirming if the Bitcoin has been sent on the blockchain. Also you need to wait for atleast one confirmation before processing anything they bought from you as double spending is something that can happen when Bitcoin they sent has not completed one confirmation on the blockchain. You can also make use if lightening network for smaller and faster confirmation. I won't recommend the use of payment gateway as they takes away the decentralization of Bitcoin. Gateways are convenient to use and very popular are mostly centralized and we shouldn't be using centralized services.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? on: October 23, 2023, 10:24:37 PM
If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? If not, how many bitcoins holding is equal to being rich in your opinion ?

You're rich in Bitcoin but you aren't rich in fiats yet if that's what you're asking about, I said you're rich in Bitcoin because you're among the few people that'll have the opportunity to own 1 Bitcoin. You won't be rich currently but you'll definitely be rich in the future when Bitcoin gains more global acceptance. We're still early in the industry as a lot of people are yet to come into the industry and that's because they're still doubting how successful the market will be. This set of people are those that'll be buying Bitcoin costly in the future as they will be regretting doubting the future if the market.

We shouldn't be after the short term profits and wanting to be rich quick but investing for the future and keep on buying and hoarding (accumulating and Hodling). The reward will be gotten in the future and that's where we should be setting our target for and not after what's happening in the market in 2023. We still have a very long way to go so we shouldn't be disappointed but be motivated to keep on investing in Bitcoin.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will it affect your life if bitcoin price comes to $1 million per bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 10:10:49 PM
How will it affect your life if bitcoin price comes to $1 million per bitcoin ?

To begin with, it means I'll have a million dollars of fiats to spend but that's not what we want for Bitcoin, the  profits are great but what about the adoption. If I can't use my Bitcoin as I use fiats then there's no excitement in Bitcoin reaching $1 million as I'll still have to sell my Bitcoin for fiats whenever I need to buy something or pay for a service that I use.The goal should be 1 Bitcoin been recognized as 1 Bitcoin and not 1 Bitcoin getting to a specific price in dollars. I'll give up one Bitcoin getting to $1 million for Bitcoin been recognized globally as a currency and not what's happening with the attention been shifted from a currency to a speculative asset.

After Bitcoin gets to $1 million and you sell your Bitcoin for fiats, what's next as you don't have any Bitcoin left but if Bitcoin gets the recognition it deserves, you won't have to sell your Bitcoin or be scared of a decline in price as then the fiat value won't matter anymore. Things will be calculated in Satoshi when spending Bitcoin and not fiat values.

473  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Research knowledge alone isn't enough to start a business on: October 22, 2023, 11:57:55 AM
Additionally, you must have had some really good relationships with your boss, his friends and top clients and they turn your business partners. You can still easily go back to them for business discussion now and no longer consultations. These advantages keeps you several steps above the one that started a business venture with only the knowledge of the science of the business. You need the knowledge of the act to successfully apply the science of the business. The Act of a business is the most important aspect of running a business venture successfully.

Starting a business dey very easy but na the aspect of keeping dat business profitable na where problem come dey as not everyone can run a business successfully. Things plenty wey person supposed know for am to dey successful at running a business and research abilities na one of dem although no be everything be dat as you dun talk. Successful business owners get better customer management quality in them as if you no sabi relate with people you no go get customers. As you dey advice us to keep good relationship with our bosses clients no mean say make we go thief him clients oh before people go misunderstand am, as getting into a fight with your boss no be better way to start your business journey as him go get upper hands than you and fit set you up for failure. The communication skills wey you get go make the clients want to work with you and your boss go understand (if na better person).

Any boss wey want make you succeed no go mind you learning well from am and even taking some clients to start your own journey as him go know say your success na him success as him for future fit come learn some kind things from you as well. Before starting a business, you need get determination and interest in that business and not only doing it for the money because as an entrepreneur, time go come wey be say no profits go dey the business but na your passion go keep you going. You need know how to combine everything in their appropriate amount to get a successful business, the research go dey there, both experience, the funding, the passion and so on.
474  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is Nigeria's movie industry only favouring the ladies? on: October 22, 2023, 10:40:34 AM
So this thing come made me the wonder say how can a very popular actor who have put smiles on people's face for over 20 year can afford to foot his travelling and treatment arrangement for such a small amount of 7 million, which will result in a public donation.

To begin with, I go talk say na lack of retirement planning the cause all this things, Mr ibu no plan wey for him retirement and that's why he's still hustling at the age and don't have enough to take care of himself. Also this old entertainers weren't been paid the best fees back in the days but still their money been get small weight wey be say if them be invest am well dem for dun get wetin go help dem in situations like this. If him been get health insurance, dem for dun take care of him bills for am but our entertainers no dey invest wisely for the future but only to dey live lavishing lifestyle now and come dey beg for future to use survive. Mr ibu was one of the biggest name during his reigning days so him supposed use him head get investments and he won't be disgracing himself now begging for money but e dun happen be say e dun happen so make we learn from his mistakes and plan well for our future which involves emergency like sickness and other things by getting better insurance.

Quote
And a young girl who is bearly known for getting such an amount of money that runs into hundreds of millions within a short period to splash on such a home for herself,  and her case is one among many of her colleagues who have bought SUV cars worth millions in the same movies industry.

Na her own time be this and if she no plan her future well she go dey like Mr ibu dey beg for help in the future, also make we know say this modern day entertainers get so many opportunity passed the olden days one because many business opportunities dey now. This guys are into brand deals like influencing wey dey pay dem pass those acting money, they have monetize their social media and dat one dey pay dem too then also dem get their own business wey dem dey use their popularity promote and e dey give dem better choppings and some get other side hustle wey no get anything to do with entrainment (selling of their body and so on) and since dem dey popular, men wey hold bar go wan roll with them and sponsor their lifestyle just to get their own fame too. The Koko be say the new modern day entertainers dey use their opportunity well to gather funds.
475  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. on: October 21, 2023, 10:29:06 PM
This thread is a very helpful tool for members like me who are yet to get into any signature campaigns, because it's enlightenment about factors to consider before applying for a campaign that'll be suitable for the member is very important. Before now I didn't know that we have questionable campaigns in the forum, I'd always had the impression that every signature campaigns here are reputable and have integrity. Thanks to this thread,

I'm glad I was able to help, I created this thread when I was at the full/Snr member level (can't remember exactly but it was a long time again as seen from the date of thread creation).this thread was created to enlightening members on things they should look out for before joining a campaign and as you can see it was a community effort as all those that contributed to the thread were given credit. The forum is more fun and entertaining when you're been paid for what you enjoy doing already and not been force to engage on the forum for payout. You don't have to enroll in all campaign you come across, choose the one that best sorts you and appy for participation

I've said it before and I've said it again as well...better in my.pocket than some gamblers pocket. I'll happily take the coins from the campaigns each week and NOT give it back to the casinos, as others might, and put the coins toward better places (any place is better than to a casino).

Buddy no hard feelings here, your post was pointed out to me by 1miau and it serve as a perfect example to replace an old version of what my point was trying to prove. I don't have an issue with you and if you feel that way about this thread no problem but just don't speak bad against something and still promoting it and expect us to keep a blind eye. Is just like someone speaking bad against mixer yet advertising one on the forum. Gambling isn't all bad but when you abuse it that's when it gets dangerous. We have other campaign that you can promote and besides, stealing from a thief doesn't make you a righteous person.

A very good advice. When I was not promoting any signature campaign, I was very selective of the boards I will post. If the conversation isn't interesting, I will not join.
But now, for the sake of completing post quota, I sometimes join conversations not that interesting to me.

One thing about every information posted on the forum is that, it has it audiences, and I'm glad you're one of them but I'll advice you shouldn't engage in board that aren't of your interest for campaigns sake. You can join campaign that doesn't mandate you to write on specific boards or join conversations that aren't of your interest. Campaigns you join should reward you for your regular engagement on the forum and not turn you into a spammer or generic poster. Most users that started well on the forum left that path because of the campaigns they joined, they start posting for payout and it begins to weaken their post quality.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 21, 2023, 09:57:08 PM
How do institutional investors store and protect their Bitcoin assets?
Institutional investors, such as hedge funds and corporations, have different ways of storing and protecting their Bitcoin assets than typical user wallets.

Without reading any new article and replying from my understanding, I'll say they use more of centralized services and this includes exchange. Before FTX collapse, exchanges were the attraction of most institutional investors but after the collapse some institutional investors will be looking for other means to secure their investment and that'll be introduced to the use of self custodial wallet. Most institutional investors are majorly after the money and not here for the long run. Institutional investors knows the potentially the industry holds. For those only here for the profits, they'll be making use of exchanges to storing their coins but those here for the long term benefits from the market, they'll be using self custodial wallets like hardware wallets.

Many people also say to stay away from centralized exchanges and only use decentralized exchanges and I don't believe what they say either. I have the feeling that many people are trying to lie to please someone to gain merit rather than telling the truth. It is true that people do not store bitcoins on centralized exchanges because everyone is aware of its risks. But those who say they do not use and do not have any accounts on centralized exchanges are blatantly lying. I bet you that people who say so are also secretly using them because they are almost a necessity in the market and that is why CEX still exists in the market.

They're not a necessity in the market, the market isn't built around centralized exchange, they need bitcoin for survival and not Bitcoin needing them for survival, they're actually doing more demange than good because it's the centralized exchanges that has been hurting the reputation of the industry over the years with the most recent been the collapsed of FTX and there'll be more future collapse in the future. Centralized exchange are lying to their customers making them believe their Bitcoin are safe with them but that's a lie. Centralization exchange aren't any different from the banks and when we use them we aren't enjoying the industry like we should be doing in the industry. Centralized exchange are working with the government as they have to do that to gain license to operate in the countries they're operating in. Why do you think all of a sudden all centralized exchange are requesting for KYC verifications?

To be fair, CEX offers a better experience but the issue is privacy and people who don't care about that should stay at CEX. For those who value privacy and identity, DEX is definitely the choice but will be quite more inconvenient than CEX.

So would you give up your privacy for a better user interface, you won't value decentralized exchange until you're in a position when power is been abuse to punish you then you'll value the power of decentralization. We shouldn't encourage CEX P2P because they're misleading the majority of of people joining the industry. Many don't even realize that there's a decentralized P2P service existing as when you mentioned P2P, the first thing that comes to their mind is Binance exchange. Centralized exchange are taking out the true benefits of Bitcoin and it should be of our concerns. If we ignore CEX, we can make use of DEX and when they see the volume increasing more companies will be force to make development in this area and better the users interface but when we neglect the sector and focus on CEX, more development and investment will be pushed towards that sector and keep making them better.

If you already use Binance P2P, one of the best centralized exchanges we have, why would you want to find an alternative?  if you are thinking of looking for another centralized exchange then I think there will be no better solution than Binance.

Whereas all centralized exchange are basically the same but not all will be obsessed with power and control as Binance Exchange is. Most of them are just after their profits and don't care about the control like CZ is with Binance exchange so using others instead of Binance will be ideal instead of giving them more control. I prefer Kucoin to Binance and I believe others will do the same. But the main reason for looking for an alternative is because we don't want to use centralized services, we want privacy and full control. If you don't have a laptop to make use of https://bisq.network/ effectively then you can try other decentralized P2P exchanges that are listed on https://kycnot.me or better still make use of your local merchant on your locally that is trustworthy instead of trusting centralized services that can sell your data for their profits or to the government.

Is funny how something that they thought could easily die away is now a globally accepted alternative in a decentralized manner,  just recently Israel ban Bitcoin because it has been perceived to be a tool to finance their enemies,  but the questions is, can this ban change anything?

Israel banning Bitcoin has nothing to do with Bitcoin itself but that's just Israel looking for means to frustrate the terrorist group (Hamas) in Gaza from getting funding through Bitcoin because it is the alternative way to use when all the banks are been monitored and controlled by the government. I don't like the approach that Israel government are using for this war, they have the most intelligence agency so there's no way they didn't know what Hamas were planning. If they were looking for an excuse to wept out the whole of Gaza, they just got one and that's what I think about the whole war going on. The civilians are the ones suffering for a war they didn't partake in. Can't the Israel military target only the Hamas group and not bomb everywhere and making people especially children homeless.

Now that they have banned Bitcoin, what do they expect those that were surviving because of Bitcoin in the country to do. The investors we had in Israel, the traders and other P2P merchant that had their whole life survive on Bitcoin, what should be their fate and the banning of Bitcoin doesn't stop the Hamas terrorist group from getting funding because any body or organization that's funding the group can still do it in various way so what's the purpose of their ban. The government just look for any excuse to paint Bitcoin black when it isn't the one commotion the crime here because Bitcoin is just a cureency and every cureency can be used wrongly. All I can say is that the ban won't last because there's a motive behind the ban and when that motive is achieved, everything will return back to normal.

Is there any truth to the fact that an individual needs to be known in any place before they can qualify to receive loans?
That is, is the need to be known or identified really required to qualify for a loan?

When you don't have collateral you have to be known to some extend to be eligible for a non collateral loan. On the forum as well, loans aren't just given to anybody (non collateral loans), you have to be known on the forum or your account been valuable that you won't want to risk losing your account for loan and even when you meet all criteria, not all loan amount can be given to you. Been in a campaign also increase the possibilities of your loan been approved because the lender knows you can repay with your signature payouts since most of us don't know ourselves physically. Without money, your connection can help you when you want to apply for a loan. Also on the forum, if a valuable (well known) account stand as a guarantor for you, your loan can be approved .

I have no doubt my observation is applicable to even crypto currency lenders, because even these days the P2p system isn't as decentralized or anonymous as before where we think we were trading with bots or fake people/scammers.

Outside the forum there has to be a collateral that'll be used to repay the lender Incase you forfeit the loan. Basically you need to be known if you don't have the collateral to qualify for a loan both in and outside the industry but if you have the collateral you don't need to be known. Loans are given to people that doesn't technically need the loan as a poor man that needs the loans will be instantly rejected but the rich man with the millions in the bank will get a loan whenever he wants and that's why the rich keeps getting richer because they have access to funds that can be used to improve their businesses while the poor masses keeps on suffering.

In this recent time things have really changed, expecting so much from the government as a graduate can lead people into serious problems.  The life we live now is so unpredictable, no one can be sure of practicing their desired career from what they have learnt in school.

Government can't do everything again for their citizens, the citizens need to look out for their wellbeing because the population of the world is growing rapidly. Skills has always been something that was essential for survival because our ancestors has always been skillful people but we neglected them as we started having cooperate jobs that paid us without having to fend for ourselves. Those that had skills has always had an advantage but it's just becoming very obvious now which is why, irrespective of the career we're studying to practice, we also need to enroll in entrepreneurship programs to grow our skills on those areas so we can use them to sustain if our plans don't go as we envisioned while studying in the university. You can see the high rate of graduate coming into the workforces so obviously the competition is always going to be harder as more people are getting out of the universities.

I think if people really want to be happy in life, especially undergraduates and young graduate they should learn not to give all expectations of having living job from the government.  If people create the mindset of being creative and productive in this era they will live a more happy life than putting all expectations of getting a dream job from the government.  A productive mindset is what young people needs to make life easy and worth living.

Government job can't even give us the life we envisioned for ourselves because government jobs only accounts for a secured lifestyle that puts foods on the table and paid for some bills but not fund the luxurious lifestyle that we want to live with vacation and having all sort of toys that we want. Better you work in the private sector than the government's sector because the private sector can pay you more. Not everyone can become a successful businessman, woman or an entrepreneur so we'll always have those that have to work for others. But this shoudn't limit our thinking as you can do multiple jobs and it gives you the freedom to work from home and receive enough income that can enable you live a comfortable lifestyle.
