1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: August 17, 2023, 05:03:21 PM
I think it is safe to conclude the $40,000 DAI will cover signature campaign participants but what will happen to the remaining amount left over?
Wait for the whirlwind team to comeback, sign a message and return. If they don't after waiting a fair amount of time then may be do some games and rounds for the forum users and sponsor the games. It's sad to see the bad ending of a promising business.
2  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Multiple Users Self-Moderating A Thread. on: August 02, 2023, 07:14:26 PM
It will be very helpful for accounts that were created for business purposes. May be the copper membership should have the feature added. For a personal account I don't think it will be a logical feature.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: July 23, 2023, 07:14:19 PM
It was entertaining to watch but these people in yellow shirts (security) has ruined the party  Grin
I don't think there is anything that harmed. The guy was drugged so he really had no sense of what he was doing.
4  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'm 10! on: July 22, 2023, 06:07:01 PM
10 years in the forum.
24 years old
Started in the forum when you were 14 years old.

You have a legendary account.
I believe you were able to stash a lot of bitcoin too.

Nonetheless, everything about you and bitcointalk sounds amazing. Very well done mate.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What offence would warrant a user getting a neutral/negative feedback?? on: July 19, 2023, 11:43:43 AM
To understand the trust system better please go through

LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system
Unfortunately most members do not follow any guide. These days you can earn a neutral feedback when you are in a disagreement with another user and if they don't like it. There are many members who will leave you a feedback if your posts are not good enough. Sometimes some neutral feedback can read from negative aspects.

The key to not receiving a negative motivated neutral is to ignore the person who do not go well with you. There are no need for hate towards each others.
6  Other / Meta / Re: Rant on Tor on: July 17, 2023, 08:17:48 PM
I think a bump is really necessary considering the discussions already on my last topic which you can find on this url

I have no use of that topic, hopefully the extended discussions on this topic will bring a new idea against CF.

Thank you.
7  Other / Meta / CF keeps banning tor connection on: July 17, 2023, 04:47:07 AM

For the last an hour I am restarting tor, trying to make a post, above error appears,  then again I reset tor. If this continues then many members like me will lose interest to visit bitcointalk. We are being ruled by CF which is very strictly centralised and a US government friendly service.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Faucet Free Bitcoin - For Beginner Experience on: July 05, 2023, 11:37:25 PM
I don't know collecting bitcoin faucet still worth it now. I have never tried bitcoin faucet recently, but 6-7 years ago bitcoin faucet was one of the hyped option for collecting free bitcoin. But now I don't think anyone should spend their time on collecting free bitcoin faucet because the amount is too low for the time you spent completing the task.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How was the creation of bitcoin who came up with the idea on: July 05, 2023, 11:27:35 PM
I assume you are a complete newbie, you don't know anything about bitcoin. First welcome to this forum.

Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto, but no one has any idea who Satoshi was. Satoshi was a man or women or a group of people. Still it is unknown to this world about who the creator of bitcoin.

Bitcoin was created as an alternative to fiat.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting bitcoin besides the profit making idea. on: July 05, 2023, 03:48:09 PM

After all, promoting bitcoin can be done in various ways. Exchanges play an important role in gaining more interest in trade, while others can promote their use cases such as adopting bitcoin as a means of payment at their business. Someone wearing a shirt with the bitcoin logo is also promoting bitcoin, that is because they allow others to become aware of bitcoin's existence.
Promoting bitcoin with its main goal is the best way. Bitcoin was created for the transaction. Borderless transaction with bitcoin is fast, hassle-free and cheap. Anyone can make worldwide big transactions with bitcoin for less fee and in no time compared to other payment types. It is also effortless, if you use other third-party payment gate-way to send money from one country to another and the amount is big you have to go through some serious verification. But with bitcoin you don't need to pass any verification or longer waiting time.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies and Financial Crime on: July 05, 2023, 03:33:14 PM
The blame is only for bitcoin but why? There are several money laundering cases with fiat, and I think the number of money laundering with fiat is much bigger than money laundering with bitcoin. Banks and government want us to believe that bitcoin is the main character for money laundering and crime.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk; a school on its own. on: July 04, 2023, 11:24:35 PM

14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of quality posts. on: July 04, 2023, 11:18:00 PM
Sorry if it seems harsh but another sign of a quality poster or post is also not creating threads on stuffs that have many threads already. You can just add your comment on an already existing thread. Frequently creating unnecessary threads can also be attributed to spamming which is also regarded as lack of quality post.

Agreed, simply anyone can search for any topic on the forum and take help from that thread rather than opening a new thread. New thread with already existing topic is not a quality post.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seniors vs Kids — in the future of Bitcoin on: July 04, 2023, 11:09:35 PM
Todays kids are tomorrows future, so it is not a bad idea to teach the kids about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But don't make the cryptocurrency lesson compulsory for the kids, and don't take your young kids into crypto, let them understand the technology slowly.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 03, 2023, 11:18:11 PM
Bitcoin pump always brings new people into cryptocurrency. This pump is no different. We will see many newbies in the market who come for the bull run. Bitcoin got some lime light when the price went up and it spread hype among many peoples and they come to invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So overall it is better for Bitcoin to get that hype from normal people.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, Not your coins" is not enough on: July 03, 2023, 11:06:35 PM
Many people trade on CEX because of the flexibility of the exchange. We all know that CEX is controlled and followed by governments, but because of the features and flexibility it offers people are likely to trade here. If DEX has no limitations people would not trade on CEX ever.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How being open to ideas and comments help you learn? on: June 21, 2023, 11:48:36 PM
Surround yourself with people who criticize you. You will learn most from them. They will always push you with their negativity. Don't avoid people who always find a way to criticize you, they are kind of free bug testers working for you.
I oppose this kind of motion of yours. Don't you know that such a thing can lead to someone being depressed all the time? You don't have to stay with people that bring negative vibes to your life all because you want to learn from them. What's it to learn from those that criticize you all the time, if not to feel not good enough about yourself?
But you don't want to avoid people who criticize you. If you hang out with people who don't criticize you end of the day you think that you are at your best and you don't need to improve yourself. I am not talking about only surrounding yourself with people who criticize you but also getting around with them for some time so that you know how they judge you and what you are lacking.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small Birthday Gift - Bitcoin on: June 21, 2023, 11:37:04 PM
I feel that I've gifted at the right moment. When I gifted it was valued around $29.50 and now checked with the transaction and it is $33.50. The difference is small, and surely this will give her the better understanding about the growth in the price. Same as that soon she'll also understand about the crash in the market. Rather than someone saying it, experiencing the same is far better.
You did great! Now teach her how to create a wallet and why she should store bitcoin in wallets and keep the private key safe. You can just gift her anything but you have introduced her to a new technology. Now you have the responsibility to teach how to store and make money with bitcoin.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 10% Cripto SCAM on: June 21, 2023, 11:30:35 PM

Question: Legit or SCAM ?

Curiously I've been contacted by 4 folks in two weeks telling me that they found big money on the Blockchain which belong to me and they all requested me to invest 10% of the amount to unlock the trransaction.
Unlike the previous case, they all asked me to transfer the money into a portfolio they had created for me. Easy to identify as a SCAM.

Is it even possible for someone to find tokens on the Blockchain they can link to me ?

Thanks for any help
Its a trap. Scammers want to takes money from you. Ask yourself some simple questions- who gave you that amount of crypto? why the transaction got blocked? and how the hell did they know your wallet is awaiting to receive 30,000$ in crypto?

Ignore them, you are not getting anything from them.
