Hey Phil, the Onda D1800 6 slot board uses a DDR3 sodimm, right? Aliexpress doesn't clarify what it uses.
Thanks!
Yes.

Anyone has any idea the expected hashrate for Vega 56, rx 570 and 1070?
Mine is only 420 for vega 56, 450 for 1070 and 270 for rx 570. Is this right?
450 is reasonable for a GTX 1070 at a fairly high TDP. Not sure on the 570, my 470 models that's about where they end up at so should be about right. Thanks QuintLeo. Any working pool for btg as you know? any recommendations?

Here's a prototype frame for the Onda D1800 motherboard: Looks NEAT! Could you share the measurement and material information?

Has anyone done comparison of hash rates between the different brands of Vega 56s (or 64s)?
I have a Gigabyte 56 and have a Sapphire and PowerColor on the way. I'm hoping there is little to no difference but I will find out.
I love the fact that I don't have to do BIOS flashing with the Vegas, that is such a hassle with the RX cards.
Vega 56s themselves are no big difference but for my msi and gigabyte, they can only take 1050 registry edit. Sapphire will go with 1100. And if you want to save power usage, you will need to flash to vega 64 bios.

The Corsair HX1200 can power 4 Vegas but it is rather expensive.
1000w is more than enough to power 4 Vega 56. It is about 690w for my 4x Vega 56 rig on the wall. The vega 64 would use a little bit more but not much.

You're welcome. 140 might actually be good for a 1070, my 150 was just a rough guess as I haven't mined with a 1070 for a while. Turn your GPU core up as much as you're comfortable with while being stable, and memory down as much as possible for NXS mining to make it the most effective. I see. I will try it later. Thanks again!

So I just got a Gigabyte Vega 56 to try out. There doesn't seem to be a lot of threads out there yet about Vega mining so hopefully this thread can contribute some useful information.
Here's some data:
Stock settings out of the box I get 32.7 Mh/s on ETH. The hash rate drops after four minutes fairly quickly to 30 Mh/s due to temperature increase to 75C.
Increasing the memory clock to 950 from the stock 800 gets the hash rate to 38.9.
If you're running Vegas how many are you running per rig? Are you running with mixed RXs and/or Nvidias?
*more content to follow*
You need some tweak (like the ones on the RX 4x0/5x0 cards). Monero right now is awesome on those cards. Monero is what I am aiming for but I need to increase RAM to 8GB first. It will be awesome if I can truly squeeze almost $3/day out of the Vega 56 (before electric). In the last few pages from the above link you will find out you need only 4GB for 8x vega at least. Just disable and enable ur cards in device manager.

Hello guys! Tell me the hashrate 1070? Thank you.
Somewhere around 150. Just try it out in the pool and see Hmm. What is the setting to get this? The best I can do is like 140M. It was just a rough guess. Make sure you are using the best public NXS miner available, which you'll find at nexuspool.ru Thanks for the information. I do use the latest version but still...

Newbie question: Yesterday I noticed there is a block was mined and the reward is 60+. What happened?
And what is the expected hash rate for amd 570? Thanks.

Thoughts on getting ryzen cpu mining? Thinking about using one in my next 6 card build --best bang for buck a 1700x or 1800x?
Currently mining xmr or aeon using my 1700x and 1600x. They are good. no need 1800x.

Disable-enable method works well but my hashrate drops in few minutes to 11500H/s to ~9500H/s for the 6*vega56@64 rig. Any idea?
And thank you for the information.
Check your power options in control panel and make sure it won't sleep.

Ebay newegg store has vega 64 for around $660. I have 3 vega 56 already and want to buy more for xmr mining. Vega 56 is $500. Which one should I buy? Decision, decision...

[...]The system itself only consume 17w. Super!
I had a strong suspicion that they used some mobile chipset/CPU combo in this motherboard because of the SO-DIMM, mSATA and a tiny CPU heatsink. Now you're saying it's only using 17W, which is typical for a mobile platform. Not a bad idea I would say... Your suspicion is right. It is using a j1800 cpu with tdp 10w. Currently it handles 3 Vegas with no issue at all. I used to plug two vegas and two 570 on it mining xmr. I guess xmr mining requires much less power.
