301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok, when team ready to pay 10-30$ to anybody, who join telegram channel? on: April 23, 2018, 04:00:48 PM
Some of them don't offer realistic offers for the telegram joiners and airdrops, setting a specific price to each participant then the next day of the release to exchanges when the payment was in token the price drastically drops to -50% because of the bounty dumpers and investors, when the gas price was more expensive than the actual pricing of the rewards is truly frustrating, some of the projects offer a pools of rewards to share with each participant stakes, the problem with this method is the total numbers of the participants and the total amount of airdrops pool allocated.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple BULL RUN on: April 23, 2018, 03:52:38 PM
The value of ripple is close to almost $ 1, seeing the ripple price movement in recent days I am optimistic Ripple can grow more than $ 1, their team is very strong and cooperate with big banks.
That's the word this coin was used by the large banks worldwide, and the other guy said that it is a centralized coin so the manipulation is possible to happen anytime backing by the banking whales, don't fully trust this coin with your portfolio for a long run, other than to benefit from its fluctuating price if you own any and trading, don't take this coin too far from the run of the holding for long terms.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ian Balina's wallet has been hacked. Tokens for almost 2 million $ were stolen on: April 23, 2018, 03:40:50 PM
Must store all of the seed and private keys on a cold storage device that never been touched by the connection of the internet nor exposed to it, it's pretty easy to backup all wallets away from hot storage devices, hackers can always find their own way to your wallet even if the storage is encrypted as long as it is not restricted to the connection outside unless the criminals are physically present on the location of the storage it is almost impossible to hack someone offline even if the device has some injections of viruses.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bad/good news relationship to the price? on: April 23, 2018, 10:25:28 AM
It always comes with emotional state and personal agendas, we can't control peoples feeling towards the happenings with the specific coins, negative news and intentional misleading contents triggers this kind of people to lose faith to their investments that somewhat feels that they want to get out of the current situation and the only thing they know is to cash out, accept it or not mainstream have some impact to the community mostly it triggers those newbies and weak handed, personal agenda comes in as the fudders likes to mold the price of their liking, sad for them more and more people learns from this kind of tricks.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam in the name of BITCOIN on: April 23, 2018, 09:54:56 AM
Large return on investments are totally suspicious mostly if the investment company have no legitimate sources of income to cover all the investments money and the guarantee that it will expand, in the first place they should be avoided that kind of scheme cause cryptocurrency are unknown to them it should serve as a lesson to those people who invested and heard this news, Op is right the locals must be educated with this kind of currency so that no one can fool them into investing, serves right for the scammers they go to the jail anyway.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your rules for profit taking on: April 22, 2018, 05:53:43 PM
When do you withdraw funds? Do you sell into fiat or USDT? Im thinking something like this: After a 50% increase sell 20% into USDT, repeat. Reinvest in dips. When 100% increased sell 20% into fiat
If the project will turn out to be useless then I will convert all my funds into fiat, its futile to wait to a specific coin without any assurance that the coins or token will bring any real usages and solutions to our current problems to the cryptocurrency and real world, while other coins like bitcoin, ethereum and other legit cryptos are tested to have a recovery during the bear season then holding is the most profitable move to make if you are holding some of them, its hard to predict when and how the increase will last you may miss some opportunity or you may inflict some losses so be wise with your decisions to sell.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Facebook launches its own cryptocurrency with massive ICO on: April 17, 2018, 09:51:24 AM
I searched this stuff on google but failed to see some authentic articles in regards to the facebook creating its own cryptocurrency cause if they're going to launch ICO's or some official announcement they will definitely do that on their own platforms and here to promote and grow the crowdsale, all along there are no bells ringing about this one, not on the telegram community nor on the Facebook platform and mostly here, so OP do you mind to find other reliable sources about this one? this might mislead someone.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain change financial industry? on: April 17, 2018, 09:41:54 AM
Blockchain is new technology which change a lot of things in the world. In nearest future a lot of things will be based on it.

Here is an article:

Author claims, that blockchain will be able to change financial industry. What do you think? Do you agree?
There's a lot of industry sectors that need this type of technology to fix and innovate their traditional applications and systems, bitcoin may or may not conquer the future monetary system, there would be another cryptocurrency that will stand to change our current financial system driven by this technology to be a revolutionary technology, blockchain has the assurance to be the world market adoption in the near future that would definitely be happening once the world is 100% ready to adapt and change.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 Reasons Bitcoin Is Not A Bubble on: April 17, 2018, 09:16:14 AM
Good thing a thread about bitcoin is not a bubble my eyes got hurt from seeing tons of threads about the Bitcoin bubble Fud's repeated over and over again, It is still in a beta phase adoption in my opinion there's a lot of room for the potentials and improvement that we may yet to see in the future, those people have the universal habits of concluding to something just because it drops or there is a negative news about cryptocurrency it doesn't mean it defines the whole being of the coin.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you gonna buy ? BTC LTC ETH ? other on: April 16, 2018, 02:43:15 PM
I have recently been doing a lot of trading and have gotten a variety of tokens and some btc and ether don't what to do just yet and holding for too long isn't really working too well, how can i minimize my losses? reinvestment options?
You've just said recently, right? base on the bolded parts of the sentence, so for how long did you hold those assets? a month or two? cause holding crypto takes a lot of time to kill in order to see the profit but not as long comparing for the investments in metals or stocks but that can be argued base on the assets that you've invested and the condition of the market when you've entered, timing is also important when buying some coins cause you may witness some massive dips in the past months, you are not losing as long as you are not selling.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 16, 2018, 02:32:51 PM
Not exaxtly, for me buy before it be listed and when listed sell it. That thing is profitable base on my experience.
Most of the scenario from my experience is that whenever the ICO's releases their own tokens on the exchanges mostly if they have some bounty campaigns or airdrops for the hunters the price dumps beyond the pre-ico prices and bonuses cause the majority of them are totally dumpers and short sellers, what is the best deal to buy tokens? it is during the 1st week of the enlistment of tokens you would find some favorable deals given the right coins to choose from cause some of them are just scams coins.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any chance for Bitcoin this year? on: April 16, 2018, 02:27:16 PM
Correction for the Op $10,000 milestone was already reached last November that was freaking 5 months ago you must be outdated by the news of the prices better to check real prices on the market cap, last 4 months which is December ATH was 20K plus USD so that would be almost 70% loss from the former well a lot of happenings and speculation for the reason why it crashed that bad some say it is the MT.Gox dumping and some say because of the bans and regulation, well base on the historical data of bitcoin no doubt it will recover again.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the trend of Bitcoin prices? on: April 16, 2018, 01:57:06 PM
I believe that bitcoin will have difficulties with growth when it approaches the numbers 9000 and 10000.
Don't be so sure about that remember ATH is 20K USD resistance range would be $10,000 to $15,000 in my opinion, it can easily recover to 9K given the unpredictability of the market and the potential effect of the LN when it fully launches, Tax day in the US will come to end and some news about the wall street injecting new liquidity into bitcoin to stabilize the price in 8K, now the little dips that we are seeing probably from the traders and from the ones who are cashing out, bitcoin price has a long journey ahead this year we may see some roller coaster party for the price.
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Massive loss 40% underwater on: April 16, 2018, 01:44:23 PM
you have to change your perspective for entering in the cryptocurrency that you need to view your crypto assets without a value if you are preferring to hold for a longer term, what I mean is to build your confidence into a certain coin as you are convinced that no matter happens, your holdings will always survive who has the potential to grow as the time passes by, find that assurance on that coin then prohibit yourself to look on the CMC or any other platforms that displays the price regularly.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of crypto ? on: April 15, 2018, 01:40:01 PM
In future will the banks be able to exchange crypto? Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of crypto increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of what about the future of crypto?

I doubt it will happen in the near future can't tell if all the banks will open widely embrace the cryptocurrency as some of them are still attacking bitcoin and make its name a mess in the public eye by means of the mainstream media, we can still convert bitcoin or other altcoins into fiat then store it on a bank but the direct correlation is still impossible, tbh some of them hate cryptocurrency cause its main function is the opposite of banking so there would be some conflicts and debates as to when are we going to see them on the banks, we may mainly use a cryptocurrency someday instead of fiat on a regular transactions.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I will try to do this, and I need to double $ 14,000 in 2 weeks on: April 15, 2018, 10:26:17 AM
Hello all dear forum users! Who is interested in the topic of earnings, too?) Thank you in advance
I will try to do this, and I need to double $ 14,000 in 2 weeks
Any coin offer? Which coin do you think is the most attractive?
That's a way too early to double your 14K USD if your going to put that on a single coin you may lose in the process of holding, diversification is one of the solutions to increase your chance to double or triple your capital it all depends now if you are going for a day trading or a long-term holding for
your investments, you may achieve to double your earnings with day trading but there are some drawbacks to this trading as you need to research for a specific coin to trade plus you need to watch the chart very often, for a long term holding you may achieve not just double but triple ROI it comes with the right choice of the coin plus the time you need to hold the crypto.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we enter this Cryptocurrency world early or late? on: April 15, 2018, 10:17:19 AM
What do you think is it better if you entered in this market now because those who joined 4 years back and invest some good amount of money might be millionaires, is it better if we join Cryptocurrency world today

Does it have a capibility to give enormous gains like it give in the past few years, if not then why don't we should look for alternative and better and more secure investments?

I think those who joined this industry from 3 or 4 years ago is very successful right now, because they are not that worried on how to level up unlike now that we are currently using the merit system and I think that is what makes it more difficult. But i think the alternative way can be found also here in the forum. Do different and many campaigns so that you can have more earnings.
Nope not all of them tbh, some of the pioneers ended up selling all of their bitcoins while it is in the hundreds of dollars, some of them sold their crypto assets way too earlier because of the FUD's or they badly needed the money to cash out and the worst of all is that they got their wallets stolen or hacked from exchanges like Mt.Gox or from their own wallets where they own the private keys, if you're able to survive all the calamities that occurred in the past having stashes of cryptocurreny then you can buy tons of lambo.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future of crypto ? on: April 15, 2018, 10:11:45 AM
I am sure everyone over here are aware of current situation of crypto world and some have already speculated this to be the end of crypto era and says that's the reason for the dump in value of all the crypto coin ? But I think there were not much altcoins in the past and progress of bitcoin decided the value of altcoins as they pump when bitcoin pumps and dumps when bitcoin goes through a dump and I feel these market situation are temporary and bitcoin will soon be back to normal so as other altcoins.
That is savage to say it is the end of the crypto and at the same time hilarious for the ignorance that they have while some people are saying it is a bubble and it will stay like that, again some people who are concluded and drawing lines for the future of the cryptocurrency you may eat your words someday, adaptation is just starting and in my opinion cryptocurrency is still premature to say it will conquer the era that we have, fiat is still useful and the technologies that we need to innovate bitcoin and other altcoins are still in the development stage don't have the attitude to conclude things that you are not so sure about just because you lose some money or it did not make you rich.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 15, 2018, 09:56:57 AM
Everything will possible to be happen in the world f CryptoCurrency, there's a possibility that bitcoin will banned on the Philippines because of many  victims of scam by using name of bitcoin.
So how about some networking scams and other stuff which pertains to physical investments and opportunities that you need to place physical fiat? if your going to combine all those scams the numbers would be massive, as well as the victim's count, compare to this 900 million PHP, I'm not saying it is not a big issue cause they collected that much amount of crypto then the funds are all gone now but to be fair they need to ban and deal the investments schemes on the local first before dealing with bitcoin, it is just a fresh technology in the country, it must be the firms and the personalities who use it to scam people are to blame not the currency itself.
320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: April 15, 2018, 09:48:55 AM
That's why we need to dig in with the research for the potential of specific coins, I regretted one thing and that is I did not meet cryptocurrency earlier, some people tend to listen to others choice and opinion although the technology is something new and those people don't have the initial knowledge and understanding of the specific technology like the Internet or some stock markets when they are starting, criticism jump to conclusion that they will fail and those are scams but hey where are those people now? they are attacking bitcoin for the same principles and reasonings yet they fail to acknowledge the innovation, the risk is also there but it will lessen if you are going to make a proper exploration and analysis.
