441  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: March 02, 2018, 02:29:07 PM
Do you think that banks, governments and investment companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and other will try to replace the decentralised coins and try to lure their clients to invest into their own private blockchains? What can be done to prevent that?

You don´t need to prevent it, there is natural space for cryptos and that is the common people. Business will do their business as usual and we don´t need them.
That's the thing it's all about the business but the fact that some of them crossed the line from being a businessman to market manipulators and Fudders just for the sake of increasing their wealth and control, spread some false news to mislead the community then create a panic selling scenario then whose the beneficiaries? they will buy cryptocurrencies at the lowest price just to gain more richness, you can't stop them unless you've proven they violated some laws, just ignore them nor auspices them with their private blockchains, tell your friends about this, that's all we can do.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: let us promote BITCOIN on: February 28, 2018, 12:48:45 PM
hi peepz, we all know the declining price of bitcoin today since the start of this year, so i have made this thread for you to post ONLY positive things about bitcoin on how it affects your daily lives, please do sights some of your personal encounter using bitcoin in buying online or on a physical store if there's one. you can also post how you earn bitcoin using this forum.

if you are to post negative things about bitcoin, i believe you should not be here in this thread, there are other threads that tackles the disadvantages of bitcoin so please spare this one.

i believe that this should be helpful for people who have no idea about bitcoin. including newbies in this forum. who knows, maybe some smerit giver will read your post if it deserves to be merited depending on how helpful and informative your post is. so good luck to us all guys.

EDITED: please do not post statements that you agree on why i created this thread, what we need is the practical use of bitcoin today, just to avoid spamming posts that are already posted above yours.
bitcoin usage and adaptation on my country are slowly innovating, our local exchange platform has a beta features to pay foods and drinks for a specific stores in specific areas by simply scanning the barcodes on our phones, I know the feature is still limited but the application is still updating to expand its function in bitcoin and in the future on other altcoins.

With bitcoin, a person can get rich without exerting much effort. It can be a good side job for those who are pre-occupied with their day jobs.
How exactly a person can get rich without doing much effort with bitcoin? a bounty hunter needs to exert effort by posting and engaging in the community added by the min post per week that is required in order to get the payments.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am a HODLer, but want to try day trading starting with $100. on: February 28, 2018, 12:10:08 PM
I want to see how far I can take $100 day trading. I welcome any tips and advice please. How do I find coins/tokens that are about to pump?

$100 amount for trading is not a bad amount for the starter when it comes to cryptocurrency as you can earn more than that if you choose the right coin to ride, the problem is that the market is not stagnant as you think, that amount may not be profitable, you can lose that amount even in bitcoin for a short amount of time, use that for your experience and knowledge on trading then if you are confident and skilled enough to go for day trading then go for a large amount of money to trade, you can't tell exactly what coins/tokens would be pump on that day you need to observe the movement of the prices every second or you can count on the speculations of the experts.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any ways to avoid non paying bounty campaigns? on: February 28, 2018, 11:51:02 AM
Hi every one. I just wanna ask if , is there any ways to prevent or minimize the nonpaying bounty campaigns?

I joined a lots of bounty campaigns here on btt recently but I have encountered  bounty campaigns never paid the bounty hunters at the end of the campaign period. Not to mention these projects, some of them are now scam, but some of them are now very successful after the campaign, and  they forgot to pay their advertisers at the end of the bounty period. As a bounty hunter like me , its very important. Its really pain when you are advertising an ICO for month/months but in the end you got nothing. As of now, I only joined a bounty campaign which handled by bounty manager with good record here.
I know the feeling that you've been scammed by the devs despite your hard work and effort to promote their ICO, some of them pay the problem is that they did not give the exact and deserve amount of tokens for their participants which is unfair, it's either their motives at first is to scam people or the project is not a success that results abandoned projects, what we can do is to lessen the risk of participating such projects by a proper research and observations.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose on: February 27, 2018, 12:00:59 PM
Which one would you pick for long term investment?

The poll was lacking a lot of coins and some of them did not ring a bell on me nor heard it, you should consider some coins/token which have a greater potential to be a long-term investment also include the existing coins which proven to be like that, including the top 10 solid cryptocurrencies from the CMC then consider some tokens, mosaics and other types of dependent coins on other blockchains which supports tokens and smart contracts, then add some solid projects to choose.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post Bank of Iran Is Working on a National Cryptocurrency on: February 27, 2018, 11:54:52 AM
The Post Bank of Iran is working on a national cryptocurrency that is set to come before the ICT Ministry for review and testing.
Check out detail info here: National Cryptocurrency
There's a lot of countries even the bank itself which discriminates bitcoin plans to create their own cryptocurrency, guess what? controlled or centralized coins are the good term for that, calling it cryptocurrency but the coin itself is 51% government controlled? which does not accept nor recognize bitcoin or other altcoins out there? it is just more like an ordinary digital coin killing the very essence what does the blockchain means.
447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the Bull Market Return in 2018? What's Your Prediction? on: February 27, 2018, 11:21:05 AM
Where do you think we're headed in 2018?
And many of them will fall from the FUD's and false pumps created by so-called banks and media's to manipulate the people who are new and weak through trading, the cycle of this scenario will continue as long as people bite their baits towards some pumping altcoins and tokens, not just to fall from this kinds of tricks but the worst is they have been scammed, we are headed where a tons of altcoins and projects just throwing out to scam people and also the established coins will have a greater prices.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will courts forbid banks in denying service to Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2018, 10:46:37 AM
Israeli supreme court issued temporary injunction order forbidding a bank from halting the account activity of bitcoin exchange firm. This has been seen as a major victory of cryptocurrency industry and may set example to other businesses struggling to get bank services.
So given that, will courts of other countries follow suit in forbidding banks to deny services to bitcoin exchanges?
Share your thoughts guys.
Hoping that it is not only a temporary injunction cause it can strip away from a trial if succeeded, permanent injunction is what we needed to forbid a bank not just from halting but closing some bank accounts because of the business in crypto, similar scenario in my own country as 2 specific banks closed not just businesses account but an individual accounts cause their money comes from Bitcoin, hopefully, none of the available banks here did the same thing.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: Implication of regulation and the securities status on: February 26, 2018, 01:42:52 PM
Regulation is good as it brings confidence in the technology. However, the right balance must be implemented. Enough to keep frauds away but just enough to keep the environment safe for growing companies. There's just so much scams out there, i do think measures should be put in place.
I don't think the regulating crypto currencies will identify the scammers.

The governments are regulating the crypto currencies for the sake of earning purpose not for the detect scammmers or the terrorist they want to make money from everything.
But in crypto currencies the tax implementation may not work for too long because when people change to crypto to crypto transaction then they no need to pay any taxes to the government.

Don't just focus on the other side of the coin, That would be correct, Government authorities may use the opportunity to abuse their power over the regulation imposed by their laws but on the other side this will filter out the qualified ICO's from a scam project, there's no guarantee that 100% there will be no scam projects but the positive outcome of the regulation can bring more investors on cryptocurrency, there is no such thing as perfect system or law everything has its own flaws whether there is a regulation or none.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: February 26, 2018, 01:27:16 PM
Our community today is growing bigger and bigger. There are so many recently joined members here in our forum and makes me curious why they are here? I really want to know your real motive in here. Let's speak the truth and be honest of everything because this thing can really affect on how you will interact in the community. After many votes, i'll say my opinion generally to understand what's the real course of joining in this forum.

So why? Let me know.
There are tons of reasons from a ton people here why they joined this community, the three choices (well almost two the third is just the combination) is not enough choices from the poll to choose as some people joined to sell their services, actual ones like photo and video editing, codings, sell their stuff, gambling, research materials etc and some of them are here for information and for the campaigns. The first reason why I joined here is because of the information and curiosity out of cryptocurrencies, then I read about the campaigns so I tried to participate in their bounties.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you look for in a ICO tracking website? on: February 26, 2018, 12:57:08 PM
Some of the ICO tracking websites shows how good a specific project because of the paid promotion made by the developers itself this will create a good image in the investors who venture around the internet for a good ICO for their planned investments, should not always depend on this websites, what I look at this tracking web is the ratings, white paper quality, uniqueness, authentication and validation of its developers then research all of the given information to confirm the integrity of the showed data's.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Vs Bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 03:39:32 PM
Are there more Ethereum users compared to Bitcoin users.. From values I can find online it seems there might be more Ether wallets compared to Bitcoin wallets.
what are your suggestions?

I think more bitcoin users than ethereum, ethereum wallet is more, but the number of wallets do not specify the contents. Bitcoin is more popular than ethereum, it will make people prefer bitcoin for investment.
that's correct, one of the reasons why ETH got more wallet generated than bitcoin if the stat is correct because of the existence of the smart contracts and ICO's making the platform flexible to the developers, investors and typical users who play with the wallets on the other hand I believe bitcoin has more users compare to ethereum actual wallet holders cause one people can generate hundreds of wallet on a single day plus the adaptation and support of bitcoin is widely used throughout the globe.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of scammers on: February 21, 2018, 03:22:00 PM
Never ever send any ETH/BTC to a wallet given to you within telegram or elsewhere by people pretending to be support/admin!
They are really flooding the ICO's telegram group just to scam people these days, I'm so mad at them when I first encountered a scammer that pretends to be the developer of the specific ICO ask me that in order to get the pre-ICO tokens and bonuses we need to send the payments to the provided wallet addresses, good thing the group facilitators and devs intervened with the conversation banned the scammer then put a pinned message to their telegram, what the first experience with ICO well all things works fine after that, always follow the contribution procedure on their website.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I bought all my alt coins with ETH & ETH disappears, would I lose everything? on: February 21, 2018, 02:52:33 PM
Let's say I bought all my altcoins with ETH and all of us sudden, ETH disappears from the market. would everyone who bought their altcoins with ETH lose their entire investment? just wondering what would happen to all the alt coin holders who bought their alt coins with ETH  if that ever happened (of course I know it never will)
What kind of disappearance you are referring to? Technically which is the total shutdown of ETH blockchain or price total crash that makes it zero value in the market resulting in a disappearance, if it's about the price or value then its a 50-50% chance that your entire investment will get back that will depend on the current situation of the market, if your asking technically then your eth are not gonna disappear just wait for the new platform adaptation like the above said.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: February 20, 2018, 05:45:39 PM
Losing your hard earned money on trading is one of the traumatic experiences that might happen to you.  This is usually happen when you are so bullish on the coins you are investing. Here are my thoughts on how to redeem you from this kind of experience.
You should not spend your HARD earned money on trading, trade what you can afford to lose.

         b. Playing aggressive – Since I have too much ego in my head I put all my money in one coins only. I didn’t consider altcoins to hedge risk from BTC. There are altcoins who doesn’t affect much by this massive correction.
So what is the relationship between playing aggressive and putting all your hard earned money into one coin? it must be Playing with my ego or too much trust will kill you.

         c. Didn’t follow my trading plan – Foundation of trading practice is to follow the plan you have originally set. Your exit strategy is one of those important decisions you will made. It composes of selling and cut loss strategy.
Sometimes, things don't work according to your plans, cryptocurrency is a harsh environment full of surprises and unpredictable events which will lead you from abandoning the original plans or strategy.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: from token to ETH on: February 20, 2018, 05:17:53 PM
If my erc20 tokens gets a value, How can i convert my erc20 token to ETH?
Aside from Etherdelta and IDEX, you can use Radarrelay to trade ERC20 tokens to ETH but always remember to consult your manager or the developers itself first about what exchanges they're gonna release the said tokens to be tradeable publicly easily or you can wait for their announcements cause there's a lot of exchanges for ERC20 tokens and eth, make it sure your wallet have eth balance as they needed for the transactions of the trade, otherwise it will not work on your end.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Theft Going Offline: In-Person Attacks Becoming More Common on: February 20, 2018, 05:06:35 PM
That's terrible news. How should we avoid it?
Don't boast that you have tons of precious coins online whether it is bitcoin, altcoins or any other forms of money which you have a business with cryptocurrency, that is the risk of showing off online that you are into crypto business even if you are a small time holder or not, they will think that you are rich cause the mindset of people knowing that you owned cryptocurrency is that you are super rich, well the criminals will not have a dilemma for transferring large amount of money because it is decentralized rather than a transfer from a bank which posesses some restriction, better to stay low profile not just on bitcoin but on any other financial businesses that are not necessay to say in public.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legendary video game company Atari is investing in cryptocurrency. on: February 20, 2018, 04:38:41 PM
That sounds very good. I wonder for a long time, why the games industry has not already entered the crypto market. I think that would also reach many people.
But I think there are already considerations in the background and I think in the next few years they will take the step.
There's a lot of gaming ICO's company that's is correlated into cryptocurrency itself, some of them used the eth blockchain making them accessible via ERC20 wallets for their currencies or tokens and some of them literally created their own blockchain for their own platforms, in the former days Steam accepts bitcoin as a form of payment for their platform but in the present they are not accepting anymore due to its nature problems with volatility, speed and transaction cost.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 19, 2018, 06:03:15 AM
Recently few days i am worried about cybar attack dec 25 i was lost my valuable token. Now i am confused and ask a question in my mind mew can be hack? please give me any suggestion i am afraid now.
MEW cannot be hacked unless someone can access your private keys. You don't have to store the private keys in your computer it is better to store it in a pen drive or write in a piece of paper. And keep good antivirus on yiur computer to stay away from phishing links which can copy yiur private keys.
Yesterday i was faced a big problem ,mew was not working properly and most of tx were fail.I lost my most coin for delta attack than i am afraid .do u use your mew wallet yesterday??
Yes ED got hacked and the attacker got access from their DNS, fake order books and fake social media accounts got released from the fake website that incident happens last month, that's why it looks suspicious that time and I decided not to trade with ED until now as the website load slower than before, what kind of fail transaction did happen? can you put the tx here in your thread so that we can check what wrong with your transactions? better use another eth wallet as it seems your former wallet got compromised for the last attack.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trust chart analysts? on: February 19, 2018, 05:47:13 AM
supply,demand and NEWS.
The first and second points are correct but the third one NEWS? really? some of them is like poison in the community, they keep on spreading false information and chart analysis when it comes to bitcoin, not all of them did the same thing only the bias and one-sided news articles and channels spread the FUD in the community, you can check most of the news online saying that bitcoin bubble just burst to sell it before its too late or the non stop FUD that bitcoin is dead, how many times did bitcoin died from them?
