read below . that one is from a long time ago. i only used this account in 2011, 2016 and now. if you could find one from 2016 i may be able to sign , but my old addresses from 2011 are destroyed
HAHAHAHA! This guy is a joke The address he 'doesnt have access to' because it is destroyed has 1.4 BTC attached to it. https://blockchain.info/address/12wDRLTdLcjxWRBm4pXT1G3sXb5aoqfaVaDon't tell me that you just don't have access anymore to 7,700 USD worth of funds? If so, I envy you for being that rich that you can just loose that much money without caring about it. Unless......

This address is from 2011 . If you got one from 2016 maybe I will still have it. I do not keep them that long. How come? Do you change wallets all the time? You only joined in 2017, you know nothing.
Irrelevant. We all have to start somewhere and just because I didn't buy an account to cheat doesn't mean I'm dumb.... Ive been looking at this forum from time to time since 2015 however I have never really had the time till now to dedicate to posting and being a proper 'community member' as one might say.
No-one called you a scammer, Lauda just labelled your account as a potential bought account. Unless you can prove to him/her that that is not the case, No-one can help you.

I'm trying to change my avatar but every time I upload a new image, it keeps on returning back to the former image I used. Tried clearing it up first and uploading a fresh one, still it won't work. Am I missing something or is there something wrong with avatars again?
What should the new avatar look like? I can see 'morty' as of this moment. It usually takes time for the avatar to update, just sit patiently and wait.

Where is this address located? Sorry, too lazy to look for it
@cripperz, look at the situation this way: You have been here since 2011, yet you don't know very well how the forum operates. Anyway, lets leave that aside. Lets say that you are who you say you are, and that the account is yours. Also lets assume that you have been away for 6 years on other business, for your case. Then now, when you come back after 6 years you want to use your account. What do you do? 1. Change password. [Seems fair, you might have forgotten and for this you need email access] 2. Change email. [ok, lets also add this. However, to have the ability to change email you need to know your password and log in to your account] Why change email and password at the same time? If you have had access to your account or your email guaranteed (If you say the account is really yours)
Also, no-one ever said you changed your password, only email. You are just confirming what Lauda has tagged your account for. The more you say, the more suspicious it gets

Thank you for that, I will review your blog!

All these hacked/stolen/sold accounts are draining the cat. I'll try to add life back into the cat where possible Draining of this cat or not, these people need to be negative trusted to protect the community. Yes, add the date to the signed message and re-sign it.

@Dorkie this is very unfortunate, but what can you do. Do you by any chance have sent a PM to anyone on this forum a Bitcoin address you can currently sign a message with? That might help your case if that person could then be contacted to quote your PM. Now you know the importance of staking addresses... Unfortunately you have had to learn the hard way.

Can you sign an address from any of the previously staked ones? Yep, as mentioned by aTriz, any of these will do. 124x2JyTGRNhzYH6svGaWDLHWB7tvwurH4 First posted on: November 13, 2015, 09:44:14 PM 1FhfHsf2KLGRcEvtAP2TsCDxbtsBvMnkPp First posted on: September 25, 2013, 05:07:33 PM 1AZoKNh1QJxkWXGnU3UFntkPhemUmScyrX First posted on: May 03, 2014, 03:01:50 PM 1PqmWH4NkRkxy77WDaKBHZbxsrM1pqaoB3 First posted on: November 29, 2013, 09:38:22 AM 16huXGcAeHN5mXVQmLpmHWWgSctiMvov7E First posted on: July 21, 2013, 10:35:10 AM
I have notified Lauda and he/she can tag the account as soon as the address has been verified (hopefully). This will at least allow others to see that something is off with your account.

Apparently it is against forum rules to update our email and password now? Edit: Where is the scam accusation that my account got hacked? If you have no proof, you can't just go and tag everyone who updates their profile. Edit 2: Where are the negative tags for all these accounts: https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php?Stop complaining and just sign a message. Oh unless that's a bought account. stfu u little bitch fk u hacker man why u hack my account i have proof idiot -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- atriz hacked my account help plzzzz -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- ubide2fib3rij2efbjofeiubpef2hkjfnio29713ibhrg2oi2giph08 gupiqg0918-g4puio2h35u9grqwbpon123knlqdo -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- Which butthurt spammer have I declined again? I don't think it was anyone you denied. Most likely cripperz... Whoever it is, what you are doing is pathetic. *sigh* (Never knew ubide2fib3rij2efbjofeiubpef2hkjfnio29713ibhrg2oi2giph08 could be a valid bitcoin signature too )

So where have you gone Mr BitmastersINC? Dissapeared into nowhere land and just appearing to post more scams with new accounts?
Fuck off back under the rock you came from you waste of fucking air.
*sigh* Just leave this guy alone. Everyone knows he is full of shit. The more you reply to his topic the more of a winner he feels. Its sad and pathetic, yet true - there is nothing against Lauda and Vod that can be said. They both take good care of the community and try to make it as clean as possible.

Thank you again. Unfortunately not a single peep from the pm to theymos with signed messages about getting my account back. I guess he's got bigger fish to fry.
Account recovery seems to be low priority, waiting is all you can do. Theymos could implement f2a and make account sales illegal and that would hugely cut down on the spam, scam and whatnot on this forum. I can't believe why this is not a priority. If not this, what else?

@KWH, I am pretty sure the signed message was generated today for this case at hand. "Thank you KWH for finding a message with my address!" is a pretty direct message for this instance.

You could maybe try posting this on another board, since it is a little more than just 'trading'. Maybe Development & Technical Discussion?
I really have no idea how the whole bitcoin ATM business works, sorry I can't help. However, as mentioned by welsh, its better off contacting that guy directly as he or she would be able to break it down properly for you.

But seriously @Vod, when can we get an ETA on the new forum being officially released. Its been in the works for many many years now...
