141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 29, 2020, 06:34:30 PM
Choosing a bounty campaign as a way to promote their project is certainly the right and efficient thing in my opinion because if a new project develops, it will be very difficult to pay the promotion costs in another way because promotion usually requires a lot of funds, and the method of paying cash before promotion is done but if the aforementioned developer promote their project in the forum of course the funds needed are only a small amount and also usually the payment for bounty participants is done after the project sale is complete, and that too if the project sales get softcap and if the softcap is not reached, the developer does not need to pay the bounty hunter work and of course it is very beneficial for the project developer.
I agree with you, bounty campaign is indeed an efficient promotional tool, but here is a bad side because efficiency is used by some evil developers to try their luck by making a project and then hold a bounty with the aim of being a promotional media only, after they hold a sale after that developer disappears, and now this often happens and in my opinion now projects that have funds in advance and use their funds for promotion are preferred by people because this is more reliable than projects that only hold bounties.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus coin on: March 29, 2020, 04:57:06 PM
This is yobit, but I'm surprised there are still many people who use the exchange, despite various problems ranging from withdrawals that are not processed to frozen accounts for no reason, whether their exchange is still busy because they still often hold events such as giveaway or launch campaigns like signature campaign in this forum a few months ago?, c'mon corona is not a good thing to be the name of a shitcoin
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 29, 2020, 04:31:27 PM
hmm it seems like a lot maybe I will go back to gambling and become a gambler again or trade with altcoin arbitrage and take a little from there or learn to do other things for example now "futures" are on the rise and maybe I'll focus there.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New suggestion for unpaid bounties on: March 28, 2020, 11:37:22 PM
for unpaid experience I have experienced it several times, this is because I did not think about the project that held the bounty and origin chose, after the campaign ended it turned out that the project I participated in was a scam project and now the project disappeared starting from the website, social media, linkedin and the lesson to be taken is not to be too careless to just choose a campaign especially now because taltcoin bounty that comes from crowdfunding project is very vulnerable to scams.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better process to fund rise instead ICO or IEO? on: March 28, 2020, 11:13:36 PM
for ico it seems that it is not because the project's heyday has ended, this is because in the last few times many ico have ended up being dead projects and also scams and it seems that when compared to ieo I is superior nowadays and ieo is still often done by major exchanges like binance, kucoin, okex and others because ieo still seems to be a fast means of collecting funds.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: March 28, 2020, 11:04:17 PM
I think it's good because by applying Kyc I think it can help an exchange to filter out people who want to do money laundering, it's just that recently I saw a lot of new exchanges that apply KYC but it is very silly because applying a very large minimum withdrawal and not like a famous exchange like binance etc. that do not apply KYC and provide a fairly large minimum withdrawal (above 1 btc), and in my opinion a new exchange should follow them

The participation and distribution of previous bounty events has been under review. At this point in time, it is determined that there was unfair participation during these events which included, but not limited to: multi-account participants by single users.
As a result, distribution related to these bounty events will not occur. However, considering there were a few genuine participants involved, upon the conclusion of this investigation a distribution to genuine participants will occur later in Q2.  Further update will be provided in Q2. Preliminary estimates are that no more than 10% of participants will receive bounty rewards.

Is this another project that is trying to scam the bounty participants? What made their so called specialist in reviewing things come up with this ridiculous decision? Only a few on the spreadsheet have been accepted for the reward after going through a long KYC procedure in last year. And now after months of keeping bounty hunters waiting for reward they say this. At this point in time, I think they will only pay to a handful of people from the already existing spreadsheet like that BEZOP bounty from 2018 and deny most of the hunters who already gone through the verification.
It seems they deliberately do not intend to pay the bounty hunters who follow DigitalBits campaign, because I think the implementation of KYC is enough to overcome multiple account issues, but hopefully they will pay rewards in the end because if not paid, it will be very painful and feels like a waste of time .
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: March 27, 2020, 06:31:23 PM
Little agree. more now many bounty managers do not sort out a project and rush to post bounty campaign, even though the project they post is clearly a project that can be said to be not good or possibility of scam is very high and main cause bount scam is because of them, but honestly I can't blame them because now there are also many projects that can be said to be good, but they don't intend to hold a bounty program for various reasons, but I'm thankful there are still bounties filled by bounty managers who do sorting and escrowing reward for bounty participants so bounties not completely dead.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 27, 2020, 06:24:26 PM
for now, do not waste time, but it also depends on what airdrops you follow for example, if you follow the airdrop coming from the telegram bot and that's all you follow congratulations you managed to waste your time because a lot of airdrops from there are just trash or scams, but if you find an airdrop that uses a website / application it's usually better but the obstacle is some applying kyc but until now there are some that are not so I suggest if looking for airdrop see where they come from.

151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 18, 2020, 02:37:04 PM
I keep telling us that little things matters a lot. Sharing this article would help get to someone out there who hasn't heard about bitcoin and needs to know about it. Also, don't forget to use your skills to promote bitcoin.

bitcoin is our complete finance without a central authority that can decide with our finances, this is financial freedom with several advantages compared to fiat currencies, one of them with bitcoin we can make transactions whenever we want, there are no specific hours or days, unlike with fiat currency, we can only do transactions when the bank is open.

One of the advantages of bitcoin compared to banks is that we can trade anywhere while there is an internet connection without having to be hindered by hours like banks and banks can only be valid in one country.

By adding security to users as anonymizer, adding bitcoin becomes one of the finances that is not easy to detect who is the owner, without having to follow the rules to register bitcoin as a new breakthrough in financial concepts in the present and future.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining virus on: February 18, 2020, 03:32:32 AM
step 0 is prevention:
- never download or install shady binaries that you don't know the source of and don't trust.
- always make sure you have real software by verifying their digital signature if possible
- if you have to run a shady application then use a sandbox so that in case it contained anything malicious it wouldn't infect your computer.
- never visit shady website
- and as the last line of defense if you are on a closed source OS such as Windows or Mac you can install a good anti virus.

if you are already infected
best solution would be formatting the hard disk and reinstalling the OS but since that is hard you can install a good anti virus or use a rescue disk to scan and try to remove it.
detecting this type of malware is easy since they have to use excessive amount of computing power so the symptoms are obviously increased CPU or GPU usage, hearing the fan sound (if your fan speed is adjusted according to usage),...

How do you think, would it better to buy a clean new processor to skip many steps and start mining using a new PC or make a cleaning?

Cleaning will always be needed, even if we buy a good processor there will still be cleaning that must be done at least once every 2 weeks or once a month, this is also to maintain the quality of the processor and things that can worsen the work of the processor if we do not do cleaning or maintanance.

Because an electronics will also always have a time to rest
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: February 16, 2020, 02:48:40 PM
Actually the reason for many outcomes to be useless is not only from the ethereum blockchain, waves and other blockchain are the same, which I think is wrong by the altcoin developers because in my opinion, there are currently too many projects with the same theme and also because there are no restrictions on altcoin so there are many projects that die because of this, and the death of a project is also caused by a new project because akurasa holders are more interested in the new than the old project so that many investors leave the old project because of this.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it correction time? Market down by 8% on: February 16, 2020, 02:33:32 PM
I think this correction is just maybe, this is still the beginning because the next correction might be quite deep compared to this and next maybe the bull season will come back, buy some at a time like it might be the right moment.
155  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Zipmex Exchange | HARGA BTC MURAH • LIKUIDITAS TINGGI • BIAYA WD MURAH! on: February 15, 2020, 05:58:29 PM
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about bounties on: February 15, 2020, 05:52:45 PM
all the facts presented by op are true and sometimes in the matter of "reward" sometimes the reward from bounty can be defeated by airdrop and I strongly recommend that for newcomers never underestimate airdrop because sometimes even though the level of "gambling" is equivalent to bountmy, but it is also worth of course you have to be careful too because there is no guarantee all airdrops always pay
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Reaches One Million Users on: February 15, 2020, 05:27:05 PM
I used Metamask from the beginning when I became familiar with the world of cryptocurrencies, I still use it today. This is an easy-to-use ETH wallet on PC and I think it is more secure than MEW
Hmm, it looks like we're same, in my opinion for security issues it seems almost same, I'm sure many members here use mew but they have never been hit by hacks or anything because they can avoid web phishing, wallet phishing, etc.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: February 14, 2020, 05:25:31 PM
not sure but it looks like this year bullish is more in favor of bitcoin but that does not mean no alt will get bullish it seems like some projects from the defi or projects that have good concepts will also get this moment but bullish this year (if it happens) is very different like 2018.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 14, 2020, 05:18:06 PM
if it happens bullish it seems I also agree with the article because before, eth ever reached more than $ 440 only seems to have to wait a little patiently, my belief is quite strong because the crypto market during the beginning of q1 this year in my opinion is very good.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 10, 2020, 06:16:23 PM
If there is an option other than bounty I suggest not to go back because at the moment bounty is not feasible and in my opinion the rewards from airdrop more guaranteed, because in bounty there are too many dramas sometimes the reward given is only getting beans because the successful tokens that registered in exchange were unsuccessful and dumped more than 100%, but there are some bounty who still offer decent payment but even then the allocation is also reduced for example 15 K $ -50 K $, there is no allocation as before for projects that I think are good.
