Hello,

I was planning on ordering a few for myself but I am going to gauge interest on potential group buys for the Alpha Technologies 25 MH/s Litecoin ASICs.

*snip*

How sure are you that you can manage to get a preorder in quick enough to be delivered in the first batch?

If you can convince me, I'd like to go in with you on at least half a rig.

This issue should be fixed in 1.9.3 - Win/Mac builds will be available some time this week.

Had this problem, upgraded client, problem solved!

Thanks DEV team.

Possibly a different host? DigitalOcean has some insanely reasonbly priced on-demand hosting.

Also, if there is anything else I need to do to show my interest in supporting this lawsuit, let me know.
11  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: labcoin lawsuit on: December 04, 2013, 11:25:30 PM
.05 sent, wish I had more, put almost all of my BTC into labcoin...

I've got 22,880 shares on cryptostocks, and I want to see this guy caught and shaken hard.

If there is any personal info I need to provide, send me a PM and I'll happily comply.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy user growth, Logout Issues Thread on: November 30, 2013, 06:21:03 PM
This is not something I understand...

There is always an influx of new users when the price rises. Each and every time.

It isn't like it just sprang up on us, we have known for almost two weeks that the price was climbing.

Why is it that exchanges do not expand their server farms BEFORE they start being overwhelmed.

The last two major crashes (possibly three) were almost completely due to MtGox's idiocy in this manner.

So, please explain to me why everyone only begins to consider the importance of fire safety once their houses are already burning?

Ok, I'm holding shares on Cryptostocks.

Is there any way to transfer them to ACTM-TENDER so I can get on the new exchange when it happens?

Thanks for your time.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 07:05:50 PM

Am I mistaken in thinking we are past the deadline that accumulated divs should have been paid out?

Dividends are suspended, we have no exchange right now due to the SEC shutting down Bitfunder.

I hold shares on cryptostocks... wondering if they're gonna cave also...
15  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 05:58:26 PM
I hate to point out the obvious here, but it no longer makes sense for Ken to sell machines when Bitcoin is almost $600.  He would make far more profit mining with them himself.  Not like we would see any of the mined profits anyway, he will find a way to keep them for himself.

Well, since there is a publicly documented statement regarding dividends, if he does that there will be repercussions.

Though I don't think that will be the case.
16  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 04:51:41 PM
Ok, I'm getting a bit concerned.

Was burned by Labcoin pretty bad, and now ACTM isn't paying out dividends, the volume of trade on cryptostocks is a joke, and no official word.

Am I mistaken in thinking we are past the deadline that accumulated divs should have been paid out?

Do you guys have an IRC channel somewhere?
17  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: October 28, 2013, 07:05:34 AM
<snip>

The only reason it's priced where it is likely due to the inability to set asks and bid prices with more then 4 decimal places on Cryptostocks.

I don't buy into this fully. There are plenty of people that are just stubbornly holding onto their shares - if there weren't we would see plenty more sells at .0002 or .0001.
they're stubborn either because they've given up hope altogether and have written off their losses, or because they know there's an artificial floor propping the price up for them, and as long as they see bids on the book, they know they have someone else to give their bag to when they get really desperate. (The third alternative is they think Sam's going to pull a rabbit out of his hat in the third act.)

Actually, I'm still holding shares because I am getting an amazing dividend percent after buying dirt cheap when some of my ultra-low bids I placed on btct.co got filled at during the panic sell at the end. Seriously, a few more weeks and I'll have my entire purchase cost of 2 btc paid for.
18  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 20, 2013, 06:02:38 AM
Am I the only one who is amused by the fact that some FUDiot is permanently marking their bad judgment on the Blockchain? And what will said fudster think 5 months from now when Labcoin is making it's investors rich?

Also: Whoever you are, thanks for the extra dividends.
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: VMC -- FAST HASH. $6/GH on: September 19, 2013, 03:41:39 PM
Even if they deliver on time (fat chance), the difficulty is jumping so high that no machine they sell will ever meet ROI barring some sick increase in the value of bitcoin, but still in that case, better to just hold onto bitcoin.
20  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 18, 2013, 08:40:47 PM
I don't understand you guys.

First you complain that solo mining isn't effective at such low TH rates, and then when Labcoin capitulates and states they will pool mine, you complain that then you can't be sure that they are mining or just depositing to the address.

Could everyone who isn't holding Labcoin shares please go the fuck away.

If you claim 'white knight indignance' and that you are here to 'protect investors', then take your shit up with Burnside.

This forum is so full of stupid it is making my router sick to it's kernel.
