4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z9 list of working pools/Fork updates on: June 27, 2018, 06:14:07 PM
I tried the equihash Z9 algo on Miningpoolhub for about 18 hours on my Z9 mini and the returns were dismal at like .001 btc in that timeframe, while mining straight btg for 18 hrs netted me .6 BTG.

Anyone have good experiences on MPH equihash switching?

Currently mining flypool at 14k sols, but may switch back to zencash/btg.

us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023 works very well for ZEC, ZCL an ZEN.  BTG does not appear to be active on the switching port.

What is the point of using different pools when there is %0 pool fee antpool.? I mean why not Antpool? Anyone using it?
(Genuine question)
Also after OC (I am on 725)(70C)(seems fine, the same temp as 700 or 750, the difference is 1 to 3 degrees C)
I failed to make a SoundProof Box to it, it has 1 fan so suction is not strong enough to pass it all the way i think, it gets too hot,(85C) Anyone made one, can I see a picture maybe.
Thanks

I have mine at only 575 and they run about 60, I am adding a second 120mm (200 CFM) fan to the back of each one tonight and am upping to 750 (hopefully), and I can let you know if that makes a difference in terms of airflow and temperature.

I stepped my Z9 up to 750Hz 5% at a time.  0 HW errors and operating temps between 40-61C. I locked the fan at 85%, seems to be sufficient to keep it cool. Ambient room temp is about 70-75F. Been operating like that for 5 days now.

MPH's Equihash switching port is working as well. It won't mine BTG though.

I was able to use MPH (us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023) Equihash switching port and can confirm mining for ZCL, ZEN, ZEC using the switching port.  I was able to mine BTG by adjusting the hub workers job from Ethhash to BTG.  It does not look like BTG is enabled as part of the switching port maybe because the web page indicates the exchanges for BTG are off line.

So I have been running mine wide open at 750 MHz (the max you can set), is it seems to take it just fine.

Here's power consumption running at 750 MHz.  Note that there are peaks as high as 485 Watts, so keep that in mind if you plan to run several of these from a single PSU.  The baseline consumption running maxed out is 350 Watts.

After 5 hours 20 minutes, average KSol/S is 16.39 and 0 HW errors:

And things are looking great pool side as well:

From the above graph, you can see where I went from a 650 to a 750 OC setting.

Wish I had about a dozen of these last fall!

Thank you for posting, let us know if you keep it at 750 and how it responds.  Also, I see you are on MPH.  For some reason my Z9 is earning on MPH, but it is not registering on the dashboard, graphs, worker page etc.  Did you have any similar problems?  I have successfully mined using the Equihash switching, BTG, ZEN, ZCL and ZEC.  I am generating coins but no record of my miner at all on the pool.

BTW, I have done business with both https://www.eastshore.xyz/ and https://asicminermarket.com/ (both re-sellers) and I have only had good experiences.  Eastshore even replace equipment that damage in shipping at no additional cost and few question once I showed them some pics.

http://www.baikalminers.com/ is a SCAM.  Baikal sent out an e-mail about this a few weeks ago to anyone with an account with them.  Check the blog on http://www.baikalminer.com/

BTW, most to the manufactures have pages on FB etc., so you can double check links there as well.

I would add the following to list of verified manufactures:

https://www.pandaminer.com/ (there is also a scam website similar, be careful)
https://shop.pinidea.io/
http://www.innosilicon.com/

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICObazaar - The marketplace for all ICO tokens on: July 11, 2017, 08:21:37 PM
Ok, once I sign up for your service and participate in an ICO through your web site, how do I claim my tokens?  I ask because I participated in Civic through your web site, and it work exceptionally well especially give the log jam that surrounded that ICO.  Now CIV tokens are being traded on exchanges.  How to I claim my token from ICOBazzar?

I looked around the site and didn't find any guidance. I sent a request in through the web site a few days ago and have not herd back.  I guess likely everyone in this space over the last few month you guys are buried with requests...

Thx!

First of all, thanks for using our platform and the kind words.  We really appreciate your patience. Civic tokens (CVC) are in fact not yet being traded on exchanges, they still haven't been deployed. Once they're deployed you'll be able to withdraw them from our site. At that time you'll also get an email from us with step-by-step instructions for how to withdraw. You'll also see a 'Withdraw' button near your CVC in your ICObazaar account https://icobazaar.com/me/tokens. We're sorry about the confusion. Hope this clears things up!

Ahaaaa!!  someone is awake, thank you! you are welcome for the kind workds, as your site deservs it (assuming the token tranfer issue is taken care of) According to Cryptocompair.com CIV tokens are being traded on HitBTC and they are quoting prices, volume and individual trades.  The civic website and token sale site do not provide any indication if they have released the tokens, so I will take our word for it that you have not received notification from Civic yet.

Curious where the tokens on HitBTC came from (yes totally off topic for this discussion).  I don't think Vinney would let early institutional investors hit the market before the rest of us....

Agreed, hopefully they are just stretched thin and will get back to us.  But until that happens I will not be using their services again..
